Left behind again? There were two shaman decks in world quarterfinals and people hit legend with it constantly.
Someone also brought an RNG mage and almost got in. Notice how shaman was almost always the last deck they used. Because shaman sucked and they know it.
The Trogg seems really good probably an auto include in almost every shaman deck. However, I'm unconvinced that Rumbling will be good it seems too slow to me but maybe not. it will have to be tested. But i think shaman will finally be a real class again.
shaman got good cards, but the real problem is that other classes got better cards
None of the class cards seem THAT good. The one drop is useable, that but that effect is not good. Maybe with an early totem golem or feral spirit. And yes I wonder what will happen with Sir Finley Mrrgglton, because the hero power puts Shaman at a disadvantage from the get go.

There were also 2 rogue decks and 1 priest. They were the least popular decks out of the rest. Constantly? More like occasionally. If it was constant, you should be able to give me a half-weekly update on the players who hit legend with it.

Eeerie statue bro. Some of them are pretty good.
Mounted raptor- Guaranteed to replace shade in aggro druid.
Excavated evil- key word is that it does 3 damage to all minions. Meaning your opponent will struggle to play it.
Unearthed raptor
Pit snake- both are good enough to fit into an aggro rogue
Fierce monkey can be played since warrior has nothing good in the 3 slot.
I can see naga sea witch fitting in a control warrior or a high-curve ramp druid. The card essentially has taunt.
Now warlock and Shaman was left behind and warrior was partially left behind.
Problem with rumbling is that it's a 2/6. Doesn't trade with shredder and atk is too low. Shaman often falls behind so I am not sure it will live even.

The problem with the trogg is that it's just in the "nice I guess" category, while most overload cards are awful enough that they need a mysterious challenger to truly become viable. Though It will still become a staple I think.
Rumbling is awful on its own and not even that great when combo'ed, so I'm not sure it will be played much. In general, it's the kind of card that gets better if you already control the board, while shaman struggles mainly with getting the board in the first place.
Rogue hasn't been the worst class since GVG launch...
I just can't get (outside of the obvious, they have no idea what they are doing) why would they put Rumbling Elemental in shaman. The class is probably the one with less usable class minions with battlecry, not to mention the stat distribution is horrible, how much time do they need to figure that a 2/6 for 4 is not playable.
I'd say both rogue and shaman got pretty good cards this time around (if not the best). Whether to changes anything is yet to be seen, nearly impossible to speculate on it. I wouldn't be surprised to at least see a tier 2 rogue deck come out of the set.

Yes, rogue got good cards but shaman didn't. I argue that the cards are trash. That 1/3 isn't as good as you think.

Jeweled Scarab, Sir Finley Mrrgglton, and Tunnel Trogg are good for us in a control game. 2 nice early drops and a way to gain value outside of deck and allow us to play a card that we otherwise wouldn't have.
I have heard the arguments that the Scarab is bad because of its body and that you could easily replace it with a 3-drop that you would just rather have. HOWEVER, it is important to note that the 3-mana slot is incredibly crowded in Shaman. To make matters worse, a majority of three-drop spells are needed to stem off aggro. Now with the Scarab we have an option to grab a 3 drop minion we didn't have at the cost of a 2-drop (which, mind you, the opponent must either remove with an attack or ping, costing tempo, or it can kill a one drop for value) without sacrificing those anti-aggro cards in the process.
I honestly believe that the Scarab, Sir Finley, and the Trogg shall help shaman survive the volatile early-game and establish a presence that will lead to a victory.
I'm not so sure about this man. Tunnel Trogg shows promise and you can't be sure for anything until we test them. I'm especially interested in the British Murloc (I can see this becoming my new favorite card) and I'm certainly going to try him in a shaman deck (not totem shaman ofc).
Overall, I'm quite pumped up to play shaman and rogue with the new adventure.

Dunno, they got pretty good cards this time I'd say.
Rumbling Elemental and Tunnel Trogg both look nice.
They got a pretty solid 1 drop question mark.
You... You wanna buy a funnel cake?
Tunnel Trogg looks good to me. Testing required of course though.
2 damage isn't useful enough. Only possibly useful card is that 1/3 that changes your HP

there is also always the possibility that murloc shaman is more cancerous than expected but probably not.
yeah a mech shaman deck , and pingpinghos deck both which are fucking terrible to ladder with you must not have played the decks
Shaman might still be fucked, but at least Paladin got another playable Secret!!
-_- I fucking hate Blizzard sometimes
Greetings.

I'm really looking forward to playing shammy this adventure, they got a card that can literally get them out of any situation
Jeweled Scarab - the ultimate tech card
hard removal: Hex, Big Game Hunter, Lava Burst, Tinkmaster Overspark
against board flood: Lightning Storm, Elemental Destruction, Mind Control Tech
healing: Healing Wave, Earthen Ring Farseer
taunt: Feral Spirit, Deathlord
card draw: Far Sight, Mana Tide Totem, Coldlight Oracle
other: Powermace, Tuskarr Totemic, Blood Knight, Light's Champion, Lil' Exorcist, Saboteur
plus its a battlecry and can dig for battlecries for Brann Bronzebeard and Rumbling Elemental synergy
and 4 of the cards have overload for extra Tunnel Trogg synergy
Current Standard Deck:
