I opened up a Neptulon after an arena run this week, and so I decided to try to fool around with a Shaman deck (a class I have almost no experience with.) Here is the decklist:
The idea behind the deck is to run mech synergy early with Powermace and then finish off with Dr. Boom and refill hand with Neptulon for late game synergy. So far, I've taken this from rank 22 to 15 with only one loss, but I expect to start running into stronger players shortly. My main issue is with the 5 drop slot as there are no good mechs at this cost. I'm running Sludge Belcher right now because its an overall strong card, but I'm not sure if Azure Drake would be better because I have no card draw and run 10 spells. Also have been considering Loatheb and something else.
Any other suggestions are welcome as well, I'm really enjoying Shaman so far, so I'd like to run this for a while. Note that a) this is my deck, and I'm not really interested in net-decking (or hitting legendary for that matter), and b) I'm FTP, so I 'm missing some of the epics and legendaries, but I have been able to fill out most of the best ones (Rag, Sylvanas, etc.) by crafting. Also have all the Naxx cards.
Usually when I build shaman deck i end up with 22-23 staple cards that just belong in any shaman deck. Azure Drakes are so good for shaman class that I'd say they should be autoinclude in most decks. Some like to run Loatheb but I've never seen him as godly as people made him to look. Sludge Belchers are good option if you feel you meet alot of aggro. Harrison is good tech card if you face alot weapons and Antique healbot is good if you need some heal in most of your games.
2 drakes would be great and should provide enough draw along with Neptulon.
On a side note, as you're running 2 powermaces, you might consider running some arcane nullifiers: they'd provide some always usefull taunt, and the synergy with mace is really, really strong.
Dude, this is the card to use. When I play my powermace shaman, I almost exclusively buff the arcane nullifier. The opponent can only throw minions into it (and at 4 atk, most die).
As far as what to cut, I'd cut either Mechwarper, Micro Machine, or both. One of Shaman's biggest strength is being able to fill 2 mana gaps with a totem so being that 2-drop heavy isn't suggested. You also have no 3-drop minions, and Harvest Golem is an amazing fit.
Antique Healbot may be the perfect addition. I'm currently laddering with Shaman as well (after months of Paladin) and adding 2 healbots works wonders for. I originally had the Stalaag/Feugen combo, but it only worked once in 20 games. Now I'm beating zoo, CW, mechmage, paladin, even mech Rogue pretty consistently.
Plus, the healbot is a mech which gives your warper and Powermace more synergy.

Building Quirky Decks Every Week, Loving Life at Rank 15!
This is the deck I am currently using to ladder on NA. Does incredibly well in the majority of MU's you will see regularly on the ladder. It has a similar theme to yours with more control elements.
Azure Drakes are Shaman's go to 5 drop due to the way in which they synergize with our spells and help Shaman in card draw, one of our weakest areas.
Your Mech Shaman deck is a tempo deck where you are looking to establish control from the offset and keep that ball rolling. All the 5-drops mentioned are good, but some might support the tempo play better than others.
1. Loatheb - this is a no brainer for your deck list, assuming you have come out with curve as planned and then want to prevent a sweeper such as Brawl, Equality+other, Shadowflame etc.
2. Doomhammer or Bloodlust are both interesting aggression plays that could work.
3. Azure Drake Obviously also a decent body and providing fuel to keep going.
These in my opinion would fit your deck best. Sludge Belcher is good but more suited to a control deck where you are being reactive. Harrison Jones far too reactive for your deck.
It's been said by a number of people, but truth is there's only 1 5 drop for shaman at the moment and it's Azure Drake. You can run 1 copy of a couple of other 5 drops in addition to double Drake, but double Drake is just standard at this point. It's card draw + spell power + a solid 4/4 body. What more can you ask for?
On a separate note, no earth shocks? I'm surprised. With all the cards with special abilities running around it would seem earth shock has even more targets than before now. But I guess this is more of an aggressive deck so it's not as necessary.

As an earlier poster suggested, I'm experimenting with cutting the Micro Machine and Mechwarper. Earth Shock is on my list to add because I'm starting to see a lot more Handlocks at Rank 12, but I feel like the deck has too many spells then. Is Lightning Bolt the first to go?
I don't like crackle at all. If i have to lethal behind taunt i have to always consider 3 to be safe. They're too expensive early game to kill a 1 or 2 drop and too unreliable to kill something bigger. Basicly they are lightning bolts that cost 1 more.
They are better ONLY if you have something you are willing to run into the target in case you get a low roll.

Personally I prefer lightning bolt over crackle. I tried crackle for a while and just didn't find enough situations where it was better than a lightning bolt. It's horrible vs aggro(which is like half the ladder), so I'd drop it. But if you prefer crackle, then I'd recommend dropping lightning bolts.
I guess the point is, I don't recommend running both.
Crackle is actually better for pushing for lethal. It's ability to act as a Fireball is invaluable. Yes there is RNG involved and yes it can disappoint, but as long as I have a 50% chance to win the game I'll take it. That card closes out many games for me and has added reach to Shaman in a way that is less expensive than Lava Burst and more potent that Lightning Strike.
I am a fan of dual drakes as well. Good point about the Arcane Nullifiers. They are very hit and miss, but boy are they powerful if you can mace them. Then they can neither be Kudo'ed or priested.
Sure, Harvest goelem is good value, good with enhanco-mechano, but nowadays I am using spider tanks instead because they can take out the many, MANY new 3HP two drops (chuggachuggers, mechwarpers etc).
Lastly, I am a huge fan of crackle, but I actually run a spell heavy deck with both lightning bolts and both crackles. But the deck is designed for it, as it is designed to burst and/or clear board by spells, minions or bloodlust/totem/minions. Not sure which I would choose if I had to...hmmm.
Sure love that thalnos + double crackle to the face! 8-14 damage is a pretty good and cheap finisher. Way better than a "for sure 8," from double lightning bolts. I honestly only use lightning bolts to the face opoortunistically. Otherwise they are primarily for board clear. I always muligan for LB and dump all Crackles. They are late game for me. I think if shaman start to use them this way, they would be more popular. Serioulsy, even unbuffed it averages 8-9 dmg to face, capable of 12. Unbuffed LB is a "for sure 6."
In short, Crackle and Lighting Bolts are 100% in completely different catagories of use for me. They can sub in for one another (board clear or face/burst the board dmg), but they don't substitute well.
I usually play something like this on ladder. This is the "generic" list, there's often 2 or 3 cards that I change daily depending on meta/popular net decks. For example, now I often play without Al'Rakir and one Harvest Golem in favor of 1x Antique Healbot and 1x Big DrBoom Hunter. If I meet Hunter after Hunter after Hunter I also get rid of Loatheb and replace him (it?her?) with a second Healbot. The 5 drop slot for me is the one that depends the more on the meta, at least in Shaman.

Surprise!
You need the Mechs to have the synergy, so card draw will be very much welcome and will increase that chance. Azure Drake is a good choice.
You can also try Harrison Jones. He's been used a lot right now and will grant you at least one card.
Arcane Nullifier X-21 could be amazing, turn 3 Powermace, turn 4 Arcane Nullifier X-21, buff to 4/7. I'm going to craft these next.
Also going to try out Azure Drake, sounds like the battlecry/spell power too good to leave out, and the Nullifier will replace the taunt I'm losing.

Current Standard Deck:
I've given up on Arcane Nullifiers after having them stomped by Kodos, stolen by Priests and silenced by owls.
Havest Golem is an oldie but works awesome in that helps make sure that you have a mech on board to buff with your mace or your Enhance-o Mechanic-o.
All good advice here.
I am a fan of dual drakes as well. Good point about the Arcane Nullifiers. They are very hit and miss, but boy are they powerful if you can mace them. Then they can neither be Kudo'ed or priested.
