Guys, not every class is Hunter! You need to actually L2P with some classes in order to get good results with them! Shaman is still one of the best classes in the game!
Shamans fine, I actually think we're in a better place than before GvG. We beat control warrior, mech mage and handlock, and I think the priest match-up has actually gotten better. Only place we still struggle is vs hunter, but even that match-up has gotten better with the introduction of antique healbots and healing totems.
Overall I think shamans exactly what it's always been, a solid deck with tools to hang with pretty much every class, but not dominant enough to be considered one of the top classes.
The question pertains to whether or not the Shaman class has functions that perform at or better than other classes, making it a class worth building a deck around, as opposed to another class.
Yup, this function is flooding the board, maintaining the board and using a flooded board to your advantage. Other then that, shaman is still good in all the other aspects, except the card draw; it's not one of the classes that have no hard removal or no AOE, so you can build a deck that would be decent in every match-up.
Every freakin meta! every meta shift this is the same question on these forums. Listen man go onto the decks list and find a midrange/tempo Shaman that works with what you have and then go run it u and make changes as needed. control Shaman is also extremely viable right now. Kolentos' Shaman is still very good, flood has a power mace Shaman, and Kobayshi has a great mech Shaman. Get it together Shaman players!
