Hi I’ve also tried to make something similar work a number of times. One of the issues (apart from card draw) I had was that many times I wasn’t overloaded in order to get landslide to hit twice and I also run lightning bloom. Is that the case for you too?

I do sometimes have to cast Landslide without Overload, yes. Generally it's still a board wipe b/c of Spell Damage, though.
I tried a spell damage shaman deck some time ago. I went 5-0 with it, but still it didn't feel so great so I didn't continue playing it. Card draw is a big issue therefore I was running 2x Spellbook Binder (as well as 1x Bloodmage Thalnos and 1x Cagematch Custodian as well as 2x Diligent Notetaker and 1x Marshspawn for some card generation). I wasn't running Dunk Tanks as they are difficult to corrupt and terrible when played uncorrupted. Landslide was indeed amazing, even when I wasn't overloaded as it is very easy to get +1 or more spell damage and make it a great board clear no matter what. Can't say the same for Imprisoned Phoenix though. Playing a dormant minion on t2 is simply too slow when you are going up Rogues or Druids. I kept 1 copy in my deck, but if I played the deck today I'd probably cut it for something else.
Update, I did eventually replace Dunk Tanks as well as Sorcerous Substitutes, and I've gone 71% with the deck since. The impressive part is, that's been all at Diamond 1-5.
This isn't my deck originally, but I've had phenomenal success with it today. So I just thought I should do my part to get it some more attention.

I have thought about trading out the Dunk Tanks, because you're right, they're hard to corrupt.
