(I Have made allot of posts about shaman and i promise for this being the last one)
So cards that shaman would need firstly is.
**Draw** Like for the love of god, just give it draw, a 3 mana totem draw and far sight aren't enough! We need specific draws like weapons or spells or anything in that matter that has something to do with shaman archetype.
**Overload support** Blizzard you keep printing overload cards with like 3 cards that benefits from overload... **THREE* Which two of them almost never get used. It isn't that hard to print cards with these texts **if you have overloaded mana do X**. **Your next overload card does X** or **IF you have played this many overload cards do X** like how many expansions do we need to wait, for this to happen!
**Actual direction** You push evolution, spell damage, dragons, overload, elemental, murlocks, totems and all that crap, its like You make few cards for murlocs and than next expansion for elementals, than you have this sh*t fest of cards that have minimal support all together, its like ordering italian and chinies food to your restaurant while missing the main ingredients from both em, YOU GIVE PRIEST CONSTANT RESS CARDS BUT YOU CAN'T FOCUS INTO ONE THING WITH SHAMAN.
**Legendaries** what in the absolute f*ck was purpose of Speaker gidra? wasn't the point to buff her up with a spell so she can be a reliable minion? Shaman literally has like 2 spells that would not be terrible with her, dragon pack and runic carving and thats about it, while druid can go ham with Nourish, hidden oasis, Guardian animals, starfall, overflow and even glowfly swarm for the heck of it and i am not even done.
Instructor fireheart is a F*cking mess, its the most unreliable card on this planet because shaman is jam packed with conditional cards or overload cards or too high or low mana cards, its a damn treasure hunt of trying to get something useful while having 7 damn mana.
Lady vashj a.k.a its worse then archspore msshi'fn, the godly amount of times when i bottom deck draw this damn prime lady vashj while having no more spells left in my deck or i draw it too late anyways.
Nithogg and lurker below, nithogg is just terrible in a way of slow and weak legendary because your opponent can just destroy those 0/3 easily. The lurker was soo bad that they had to buff him...and he is still bad even after the buff.
Give shaman legendaries that help to improve the class, either give it legendaries that help your minions or give it legendaries that make you discover good specific shaman cards like Dual cards or dicover a taunt or rush to the field.
**Shaman is the elemental version of warlock** i can't even count how many cards shaman has that basically targets your own minions as well, reason on why its hard to build boards and still stay strong is because many of shaman cards destroy your own board and leaves you helpless, many say that shaman is suppose to be a burst type but many high mana shaman spells literally destroy any burst potential you would have.
I do love earthquakes multitude of destroying deathrattles or reborns but you loose your own board as well but if we look at volcano or elemental destruction, if you fail to remove any threats or you opponent refills next turn the board, you are just screwed, as i reference this to warlocks suicidal nature of dealing damage to everything expect warlocks can actually manage to pull itself back together in the game when dealing chaotic amount of damage or clears, shaman cant.
**END GAME** shaman has only one end game and that is galagrond because shaman doesn't have any big build ups other then galagrond or even big minions, but because shaman is soo slow on draw and has minimal amount of cards to survive the end game, its hopeless.
if you example play totems and opponent clears all, you are dead because your draw generation is bad and every card you play is dependent on other cards or rng, so its really hard to win games if you fail the start.
I think the hearthstone dev team can fix this in time but i am just upset about the condition of this class.
There are very few constants in this world but Rogue starting with Pharaoh Cat, Priest starting with Disciple of Galakrond and Lady Vashj being Shaman's 28th card drawn are about as consistent as gravity.

I was also looking as Shaman the other day wondering why i felt empty handed all the time. Then i saw the last time generic card draw was printed for Shaman was Ancestral Knowledge back in The Grand Tournament!
There's a little bit of Overload support with the 5 mana 5 damage elemental, but the 10 mana spell is difficult to cast without a lot of decent cheap spells and Kael'Thas like Druid can use and there's not much else to build a deck around.
As far as legendaries go, you can build around the new Ras Frostwhisper, Vessina, and Instructor Fireheart is just a good card. Galakrond is a deck in and of itself, but every other legendary in Shaman is RNG highroll or plain weak.
Overload is an outdated mechanic. Early on, the idea of a trade off - extra power now for less mana later - made sense. But now, everyone has the extra power now, and only Shaman has to pay for it with mana later.
I agree with the card draw but shaman is doing alright imo, not terrible, not OP, just fair. Managed to pump up to platinum with a custon spell shaman deck, does really well against paladin too.
Honestly Totem Shaman could be very viable if they nerf druid and control DH won't become popular. But i agree with you- overal powerlevel is way below other classes. Having to rely on our opponent drawing poorly is not how i would like to win games.
1) He has by far the most viable Uldum quest right now (2 expansions ago it was Druid but Quest Druid is no longer good) 2) Legendaries: I think you are wrong about Instructor Fireheart. When played late it is an insane value-generating card. Also Swampqueen Hagatha is a great value card and it is insanely broken when played together with an active quest. Finally The Lurker Below, especially after the buff, is a great card too, any other class would love to have it. I agree about Lady Vashj though, this card is so slow and irrelevant that I even cut her from my Spell Damage Shaman deck.... 3) Silence: This is a very meta-specific strength but having Earth Shock, Hex and now Devolving Missiles can be a big deal

Quest is good but the battlecry minions are sup-par good at the moment for the quest, i rarely see anybody else playing.
Again yes fireheart gives cards but, soooooo rarely is the cards good because shaman cards have the overload or are too expensive for the one turn to cast,
Like if fireheart gave like allot of shaman cards to the hand to use later, that would be good but this is just bad because 7 mana while playing shaman spells only is just the biggest no no.
Hagatha is good in wild if you survive the onslaught of mana cheats, otk decks, secret mages and other stuff.
Silence is very good with earth shock, but here comes a problem, i rarely have target's for the earth shock or hex because most minions are small or there is too many of them, than its like "where am i going to use this?"
Also devolving missile is ok, there is has been moments where it hits well and there is times where it keeps hitting on a 0 mana minion while ignoring other enemies.
You have it wrong way round. All of the other 9 classes (except maybe lock) need to be toned down to the same power and fairness level as Shaman. The game would be infinitely better for it.
Well as for actual draw u can always do a frog at 3 mana and draw into burn, Reason why they dont give shaman any new tools anyway.
What use do shamans get from the frog? They dont have any mana reduction for spells while mages can just cast into oblivion. Besides you would need to add allot of overload cards to gain any use of the frog which again makes shaman just a sitting stick in a tornado, unless you play a otk deck immits with like 0 ways to avoid death
I guess shaman will be fine after standard cards rework.
All he really lacks IMO is:
1) Good first-turn staple cards like 1/3 Trogg with no overload on them. They need to have vanilla stats and NO DROWBACKS: 0/2 evil totem would be much better if it had 0/3 on it. Also my fellow Sludge Slurper would be good as 1/1 with no overload at all. It's so stupid when you play EARLY GAME CARDS THAT DON'T LET YOU PLAY CARDS AND CONTINUE YOUR TEMPO PLAY and all you have to do is just to SKIP TURNS.

Agree with you. Shaman might be really fun class, but with no card draw or ens game its too unreliable

the only class which needs a buff is mage...and maybe priest. thats it.
Brilliant!

U are probably living under a rock. Shaman has had the worst win rate of all classes since the nerfs to galakrond/last rotation.
I agree with the card draw but shaman is doing alright imo, not terrible, not OP, just fair. Managed to pump up to platinum with a custon spell shaman deck, does really well against paladin too.
Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.
blad mage is the worst win rate of all classes shaman is kind of in the middle cuz.

Examples of bad "tempo" cards currently: Sludge Slurper, Storm's Wrath, Mana Tide Totem (0/3 draw one WTF), Flametongue Totem (if they had to nerf even shaman they could do it to NON-STANDARD cards)
2) FINISHERS. Bloodlust and Zephrys the Great are unreliable and Shudderwock is gone.
3) Overload removal cards. LAVA SHOCK MUST BE STANDARD CARD.
Not really if u play agroo list. Althou by default i am talking bout wild. It can find a place in some controll variants. Aslo lava shock exist.
I just had the worst time ever playing shaman, it's hopeless, the other classes are so much better that it is sad
