Is anyone else trying to pilot control shaman? New cards seem to fit this archetype pretty well and i think that it has a decent chance of being a strong deck, because it has a chance against a lot of things that seem strong in these few days. I've won a fair share of games against the new druid, warrior, paladin and even DH. But its not perfect and i am going to try and refine it further. This decklist is aiming for it all, decent early and very strong late game. It might be a little greedy but we will see how the meta develops and when i reach higher ranks.
The new legendary Instructor Fireheart is nuts, insane value, can win in clutch when you need the silence or some burst. Just great overall. I crafted it and 0 regrets.
I'm trying to make a pure Control Shaman work and a Control/Gala Shaman work right now, still testing. As you said OP, Instructor Fireheart is absolutely nuts! Not one regret golden crafting it. The card is so versatile, it can work in an Aggro type deck, Midrange deck and absolutely a Control archetype.
Seen fireheart come out a couple of times and both times it found answers to what I had out, seems really strong and fun to boot. It's the only card I'm missing from this list, so I might give it a craft. Nice looking deck, OP.
This is my version of it. Currently climbing, and I'm at plat 2. Feels strong except against face hunter if I don't draw well. Other than that, I like the potential.

Testing this kind of highlander. Got diamond 5 at least.
Instructor Fireheart seems a bit weak for me. But maybe I should use this card, dunno.
I've made with Phaoris a deck and it's really best, try it!

Pretty fun deck! King Pharois is surprisingly consistent. I personally have never been able to make him work with my custom decks. Nice work!

I have a Highlander Control Shaman I took to Legend with over 60%. You can take a look if you'd like and any feedback is appreciated. Did lots of playtesting to get the list I'm sharing. https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1361314-highlander-control-shaman-60-to-legend
