Yep been playing since beta. Tons of 12 win arenas. Legend card back. 8000 battleground rating. Every hero is 60.
Yeah makes sense...
Not to sound overly-competitive or elitist, but none of that is impressive.
Wasn't trying to sound impressive. Just stating facts that obviously mean I'm not a total noob when it comes to Shaman, like that bonehead was trying to point out. You dont get to Legend by luck. It takes some skill.
And though your comment wasnt "elitist" or "overly-competitive"...you do come off as an asshole when you make a comment like that. No disrespect...

Welcome to Hearthstone. Not all classes can constantly be consistant, give it some time and Shaman might become a powerhouse one day. If you don't enjoy it, just dust all your Shaman cards and get a competitive "meta" deck. :)

Your comment does the same thing though?
No no no not the same thing...I said "no disrespect" like a true gentleman and scholar. lol
I understand your point of view, but maybe this reason I was driven to find winning Shaman last month and I found it. Went all the way to diamond 3 with Dragon Battlecry Shaman.
You just have to make the early came set with cards like Forked Lightning and Sky Gen'ral Kragg. And when you play double-battlecry with cards like Dragonqueen and Brightwing you will have insanely amount of value.
You can also clear the board with cards like Waste Warden and The Lurker Below. And double battlecry with Zephyrs is always good.
I was trying this very same deck out today. Dragon Highlander Shaman with Quest. It is literally what motivated me to make this post. The deck was fun and seemed like it could be competitive at first but...kept getting crushed by DH. Kept getting outvalued by Rogue and Priest who can go infinite value as opposed to your limited yet powerful value. My hsreplay stats say i went 2-7 with it. Limited data for sure but I can tell it's definitely not strong enough to legitimately climb the ladder with any consistency. Could you get Legend with Shaman? Sure. Will it take you 100 times longer than with a DH or Rogue...without a doubt.
I went like 8 and 6 with it. It has a little trouble with DH, some trouble with priest, but I didn't have any trouble with Rogue at all.
I don't have Brightwing or Lurker Below so I swapped in Marshspawn and Shattered Rumbler. Rumbler + upgraded hero power is a Chaos Nova with a 4/6 body, and Marshspawn is incredible in most situations as it lets you pull a heal, another AoE, etc. And it's cheap enough to double battlecry and still play whatever you get off it, I won multiple games because of marshspawn into Witches' Brew and removal for next turn, or Hex for priest shenanigans.
Also Frizz into double Alex is great.
I only pushed to Plat 3 myself but Kibler was going 70% winrate with it in legend
Totem Shaman is one or two cards away from being great.
I agree. It got some great support in AoO, needs maybe 1-2 more class totem minions printed, or totem-based spells, right now you still rely a lot on those 1-mana zoo minions that do not have great synergy with totems. It would have been a higher tier deck already today if it wasn't doing so poorly vs DH and Rogue, because it is really fine against most other matchups.
P.S.: Similar for Evolve Shaman I believe: 1-2 cards away from greatness

i also agree with this, totem shaman can sometimes get out of control if they draw the nuts right now. but if they get 1 or 2 more support cards next set(or maybe in the AoO solo adventure?) the deck will be super crazy. with cards like Splitting Axe and EVIL Totem i can only imagine what the support cards would be if we got them

Lol this is a prime example of just blurting something out. Data is what matters, and data supports shaman being weak by comparison.

I hit legend with aggro quest shaman last season crushing every dh in my way.... people just insist on playing retarded net deck shaman that can't win
Can you post a decklist?

welcome to blizzard balancing, paladin never recovered from secret paladin
control shaman is great against Priest or Warlock. Sucks against Rogue or DH or Hunter.
as i understand it, every class gets its time to shine for a couple months. it's clearly not shamans turn right now

Make shaman great again!
Lol petty pants is petty
Fine, but it's been trash for over 3 months now. Like below 43% wr trash. There is a limit to overnerfing classes.

I don't know man, they were pretty bad in Knight of the Frozen Throne and kobolds.
I don't understand how classes doing something better or faster means a class can't be played. Also, Kibler isn't having any trouble w/ it. /Shrug
