it's a shame, man. I was really enjoying my shaman decks last I played. (this was in shadows meta) most of my cards rotated though. I still have the 2 legendaries from shadows though (I think a murloc and hagatha)
I'm thinking of maybe picking up highlander mage, as I already have some of the cards from the free mage deck I got for being a returning player.
any other decks anyone would recommend that are cool to play and also not terrible, please?
Vashj seems quite bad in general, and Shattered Rumbler wants to be in a big spell shaman deck that just wont work right now. All the other cards are quite good or have potential, its just not entirely clear what archetypes would be 'the way' but theres a few routes to take. There is a legit totem deck out there, the new evolve cards can build into a fairly viable highroll deck. Lurker is quite often a blizzard with a significant upside. Serpentshrine is probably an auto-include in any shaman (love getting a wild Zixor or Akama out of it especially :p).
There are some hidden shaman gems out there, people just aint playing it :D Not gonna share cause noone expects it but there is a deck out there thats proving effective (and it doesnt involve galacrap or evolve)

I wanted to try shaman for a while but his only good decks were aggro. I hope that instead of just nerfing Dh they would also buff classes like shaman or pally which are bad atm but i really doubt they are gonna do that .. their answer is always nerfing things.
Short answer is yea. Spell Sham is a lot of fun but cant compete with the consistency of other decks. Prime seems useless. Go figure I got it golden. Fisting out Priest legendaries with 1 cost spells is cheeky goodness but you wont live to harvest them unless everything goes right.
My question is if they were so quick to nerf the DH why cant they be quick to buff classes that fall flat every expansion? It's ok, Blizzard... We all realize that pencils have erasers for a reason
i saw some shaman klists on the ahirun twitter one from viper(high legend player) the other from kyto who reached with shaman legend with a 74 percent winrate. and you can check wirers twitter whos a high legend shaman main for goodd lsits.

I'm playing highlander with Fist of Ra-Den and doing okeyish. I am 15-10 at the moment and just got diamond with it. But I think a good evo shaman deck can do better. By the way I confirm that Vashj sucks big time. I kicked her out of my deck. With Fist you can get other more useful legendary primes tho.
Totem Shaman is nice unless you face a Tempo deck such as Demon Hunter, then you might as well auto-concede since it has a very hard time to get back on the board/when your opponent is ahead. Some lists play 1-2 Lightning Bolt and/or Lava Burst as finisher but I'm not impressed by those cards since you're often forced to use them as removal which hurts due to the Overload. Also, since the rotation it lacks a good standalone 2-drop (no, Stormforged Axe is no replacement for Likkim) which made me think about Serpent Egg. Yea, we're no Warrior running Inner Rage or Rampage but Flametongue Totem, some of the Lackeys created by EVIL Totem and Storm's Wrath allow it to be traded with. Opinions, anyone?
Also, I'm not sure if Cumulo-Maximus is worth a try to get the necessary reach since the card is somewhat slow.
Totem shaman is really really good. It's an aggro deck at the same time it's an tempo deck at the same time it's a combo deck. It's not like normal aggressive decks because you don't run out of steam as fast. You can also fish answers with Marshspawn and lackeys. Just had an aggro DH concede on me when I healed back to full with Witch's brew that I pulled from a Marshspawn when he put all he had in my face. Felt incredibly good.
I think shaman it's pretty strong now... I made this deck which brought me to diamond so far but people is playing it on legend ranks with good results!
I've been playing Dragon Highlander quest shaman since last expansion with Shudderwock. But it still quite good. Saw Kibler playing a very similar list to mine with excellent results.

He is probably talking about spell dmg shaman, faced one in Legend and lost.
I've been grinding evolve shaman from bronze to legend. Hit peak 4k Legend with Jambre's list below. Currently swapped Escaped ManasaberforEarth Shock.
Feels like a bottom tier 2 deck but shaman is off meta currently.
shaman has a tier 2, nearly tier 1 deck in totem shaman which is incredibly powerful, relatively cheap, and a lot of fun to play. galakrond shaman is also tier two and is and is really solid. Shaman is in a solid spot right now but is not one of the top tier heroes
I played some Totem Shaman this weekend just to try it. The deck is nowhere near tier 1, I'd rate it tier 3. Even if it executes its game well it is still overpowered by Gala Secret Rogue, against DH it only stands a chance if it goes first and these are the 2 most common matchups. I'm hoping that Shaman gets more Totem support cards in future expansions which could make this deck stronger, but until then I'll switch to some other deck (Spell Druid is a much stronger deck and equally cheap)

Totem shaman isn't really a secret anymore

I Just played 12 games on ladder right now (at platinum), went against all classes except for shaman.
It has to be snakes.

Testing my control shaman for a couple days. It's slow, but I like it.
