literally rogues have better removal, warrior and hunters deal more damage, priest can have more value, what does shaman have? 8/8s that get easily removed?
It got the nerf bat swung pretty hard at it after owning the DoD meta like it did.
It is showing signs of life right now... small stirrings of control decks, flying under the radar, out there trying to combat the waves of Rogue and Embiggen Druids that run ladder right now.
If you want to climb ladder right now, though, it's not the class to do it with.
If you're already hit your ranked milestone and are for playing for fun you can't go wrong with Highlander Galakrond Sham. I include only 2 of the 6 cost invoke and it works just fine. The new legendary weapon is great in it as well.
It's back to its "fun-only class" status, like it happened before the last two rotations (Rastakhan Rumble, Kobolds & Catacombs). Granted, this time Shaman is not objectively bad, but other classes are simply better if you want to climb/get results.
I think the pure Galakrond+Shudderwok control version is more consistent than the highlander version and rogue needs his Flik to counter otherwise dead
Hunter needs to have very good draw to win. w-brew helps of course but is not needed if you get zilliax + zephrys (byebye secret or heal) I also run earthshock in combo with zentimo to silence the lep.gnomes. and a turn 7 Galakrond with 5 Armor
actually Hunter or zoolock is the easiest. Rogue is tough.

In an ideal world maybe, in the real world Zentimo is way too slow vs hunter. You don't have time to set up combos, you need fast one card answers
Shaman is definitely having a rough ride, though I gave it a shot in ranked. It got me quite a smooth climb from 8 to 5 or so, but at rank 5 i would say my winrate is about 50% so not really worthwhile. Though the deck that I have been using could definitely be improved (I have never really played much Shaman, so i'm struggling finding the correct improvements). Anyway, the Fist of Ra-Den prove to be too slow in the current meta, so i cut it and most expensive spells.

IS SHAMAN IN ANY SHAPE OR FORM GOOD.

Every single one of you is 100% right.
Shaman right now isn't competitive available.
I have seen that you can get few wins with shaman but its more like, 1 step forward and 2 steps back.
I think the pure Galakrond+Shudderwok control version is more consistent than the highlander version and rogue needs his Flik to counter otherwise dead
how will you manage to deal with hunter? just wondering because witches brew doesnt heal enough because its even card.

I have a question for you guys: is the frog package worth anymore or is it time to cut it?
I play a highlander hagetha control shaman with the weapon and no Gala. It's not that strong but I can beat Rogue and Druid sometimes.
Try coontrol shaman, agatha, zentimo, stormsurge

The face shaman is doing pretty well
Favorite Cards: 1. Lord Jaraxxus | 2. Malygos| 3. Edwin VanCleef | 4. Zephrys the Great| 5. Deathwing
I saw baor playing shaman on t200, so its viable i guess?
If U talk about value shaman here is mine version a fun and crazy deck u can make changes if u want. Galakrond is pretty slow and boring now.
I'm okay with shaman staying like this for one or two metas! i got tired of that class
It's thrash. With galakrond rouge running around with almost infinite value and answer generation. F blizzard balance.
Honestly you should be tired of rogue and hunter which are ALWAYS in the meta somehow unlike the other classes
Showing win matches vs mage is not very informative to be honest
