Crushing your enemies, making them cry like babies = fun
Destroying your opposition with overwhelming force = fun
Winning = ranking up, more rewards and faster gold = fun
Winning is everything.
Imagine if exists a card like 1 mana minion, always start in your first hand and you always start the game, battlecry "You win the game".
Will be fun win with that card?
Actual Shaman decks don't be far away from that.
If only I had that card, then I would actually like it. Imagine yourself playing against someone and everything seems normal. You make a few mistakes on purpose and your enemy laughs and thinks he will win this 100%. Then he gets lethal and on his next turn he will definitely win. He is so damn sure of it. He even spams emotes. But then....you wait...and wait....you rope and then BAM destroy his ass with your I-Win-Card. All the rage, all the salt. Hm, tasty! Yes, that is pure fun indeed. ;P
Guys, the best Shaman deck has a winrate of 60% by now. It is not like playing Galakrond Shaman guarantees you an "autowin". It is actually far from that.
I used it to get to rank 5 and I stopped playing it because it's gets boring really quick. Now I'm mostly playing Higlander Rogue and Warrior and they are really fun to play.
Imagine playing a chess game where your opponent start with the normal setup but you have 8 paws, 1 king and 7 queens, that will be fun? Of course not, will be too easy, your opponent don't have a chance at all and you will stomp him very quickly, imagine play the same game 10 or 100 times, I can't play something like that even for the first time.
Why so many players like free wins, no challenge, abuse unbalanced things like this new shaman BS? Playing shaman now feels like using a cheat code and the only challenge is another shaman.
I understand the players of anything wants to win, but if something is broken the players by yourselfs don't turn back for that?

First, I think you overstate the case; it's an advantage, but not "having six queens on the chessboard" levels of advantage.
Second, the play style of the Galakrond shaman deck is kinda fun; you get to play lots of rush minions, affect the board on almost every turn, and lead to a big swing. It feels more fun to me than, say, Pirate warrior which is largely play minion hit face.
To each their own though. You'll find some people who are host naturally competitive, some who can't afford all the best decks and are enjoying the novelty of being in the giving end of a power imbalance, some who can only play a few hours a week and want to I'm fast.
I like winning too but not with 7 queens in chess and shaman decks feels this way now.
How people don't get tired after 10 games using cheat codes?
You make it seem as if Shaman players don't have complex choices to make in their game and that wins are not earned all the same. Sure, those wins are much more consistent, but that does not mean that you can pick up the deck and auto win with it.
I’ve been a shaman main since witchwood. Shamans sucked for so long and now that it’s top tier for the last two expansions I’ve been having a blast. Yes it sucks that everyone is playing shaman but fuck it. I’m having fun and I know them nerfs are coming so might as well play it before we suck again. Been playing Highlander quest galakrond shaman and I’m having a blast
i'm with you, i think it's meaningful to play fair games (and i build my decks, that's fun). but people usually tend to "forget" some things. they forget they use an unfair deck, that their wins are fake and silly, that they are some sad zombies who used dat sheet from day 1. only to win counts, it's somewhat like a drug, i think winning make them also forget truth, i'm a winner and i'm smart and cool. they love to win easy. maybe they would like being *real* winners deep inside, but it seems fake, plastic delusion is sufficient for them. then well, if you rob games with some op deck everyone complains about and you emote like a shameless madman, u just enjoy doing little b*tch and you should remember you're a bad player. then there're also compulsive trolls...they're not worth of attention. summary: it's sad
I lost a lot of games against Shamans. That much that i got mad and joined them. I think thats the main reason why so many ppl. playing Shaman right now.
Stop whining

I know. ;) But sorry, Mr. Sarcasm, I only waste as much time on people like you as I absolutely have to.
i would love to have that card, and yes, it would be fun for me. also, seeing salty posts like this is fun for me as well.

there is no reward when there is no challenge. it‘s pretty simple and it‘s the absolute basics in game design.
the only time galakrond shaman is fun to play is in a mirror. every other game is pretty brain dead.
winning with this deck takes even less skill than playing pirate warrior back in the days
Exactly.
Allow me to answer your question with a question. What is the fun in complaining on a forum filled with people playing shaman?
wrong thread go to salt
Uhm top 16 legend is a ticket to master tour so how is that not being rewarded for playing the best deck
(not that i am going for that rank anyway xd )
you‘re absolutely right about the top 16 masters stuff.
but i‘m talking about feeling rewarded for playing good/smart, not about an actual reward you can earn, if you know what i mean.

Try not to judge other people's fun.
Well I have a lot of fun playing Highlander Dragon Shaman. Does that count?

No. But why be Weevil Underwood if you can be Seto Kaiba?
Im having a blast playing highlander dragon shaman... at rank 4 now so seems ok
F**k Galakron and Quest shaman never played them and refuse to. Happy to play around rank 5-2 all season.

Game is fair when opponent is also Shaman.
