So i'm stuck between ranks 8 and 9 (admittedly i don't play too much), but when i do i feel like the deck is well balanced all around but lacks push in the mid-game to finisher.
As you can see the deck consists in 28 cards as i left these 2 slots for improvement.
So far good matchups are zoo, hunter, priest is kind of ok, but i really struggle with control warrior and generally decks that play alot of big threats. The decks manages the board pretty nicely but lacks some sort of finisher to close the game.
Various options considered were Ysera (hard to slam down due to overload), Bloodlust (i seem to have often a decent number of totems praying for Flametongue), Windfury (although i'm usually out of rockbiters once the midgame is gone).
Al'Akir is missing from my collection, so is Leeroy Jenkins (as i don't really like aggro so never bothered crafting it). I don't like Rag because it's my only BGH target and is a very common tech, Doomhammer is a possible option but if oozed i'm back to square one.
I tend not to play Mana Tide Totem because of priest being very popular, so i would like to fit a Gadgetzan Auctioneer somewhere because the card draw is on the weak side aswell. I also like the 4/4 body against aggro decks, as it usually trades with something.
Any suggestions?
Edit; i suppose the Echoing Ooze could go aswell, although the sinergy with Defender of Argus tends to cause frequent regequits, specially when you get 3 taunts in the same turn, and he's ok with flametongue too.
If you are having issues with the big guys of hunter then take out TBK and play BGH. Your hex / earthshock should get you around taunts if you need. Maybe replace the ooze with a shade of naxx. Good luck.

There are 3 kinds of people in the world. Those that can count and those that can't.

I don't really have problems with hunters... for decks that play many big threats i mean control warrior, ramp druid, control paladin (do they still exist?) and moderately handlock.
What about Sylvanas + reincarnate? It's too combo-dependant, but it is actually made for decks that play big threats. If it's a control warrior with a solitary Rag/Grommash on the table, then it's yours. This was my favourite combo and the reason why I loved being paired with control warriors. Kel'Thuzad + reincarnate would be my second option, he is always useful when you have board control.
Maybe Maexxna would as well help against strong minions, but of course it's not a victory condition by itself.

I like this sylvanas + reincarnate idea, although i have no other card that benefits from reincarnate i suppose i may find some creative use for it.

I would never play Maexxna because of Cabal Shadow Priest being a card =P
