Thoughts on using Coppertail Imposters and Omega Defenders to create a potentially game-ending Shudderwock with 30+ attack? Windfury would also make it or an Omega Defender ludicrous, as well as Spirit Echo to potentially play them all again.
Could it be worthwhile now that the ezmode Saronite + bounce combo is gone? I imagine the deck would need a good deal of anti-Hunter tech (as does every other deck in Standard now) but other than that it seems very solid and can actually potentially compete for tempo beforehand. I'm not sure what a good deck recipe would be yet but this sounds promising to me.
Look up “big stealthy shudderwock” by a user named Chump. He has a 3 part series trying a deck that’s basically your idea, he’s the most creative deck builder around

I played this one in wild. Unfortunately the list still contains SCG (can replace em with your coppertail). You either finish your opponent of with a charging Shudderwock, or with C'Thun's battlecry:

That's a really cool concept! I don't know if this deck can withstand Wild's pressure (I don't play Wild due to little collection), but sure it seems great!

my similar deck Shudderwock Smorc didnt have cthun, had the destroy all secrets card, black knight, the 3/3 that gains windfury if its in your deck. Pretty funny especially versus mages who feel safe with iceblock.
I remember when omega defender was revealed that someone already talked about this idea. I have tried it myself in wild in addition to using adapt battlecries for some potentially crazy combinations. I had a lot of fun so I definitely recommend trying stuff like this out.
