Hearthpwn

So when Witchwood came out I made a Charging Shudderwock deck. Now with new cards such as Omega Defender and Star Aligner I tried to optimize the deck as it had synergy with other cards in the deck. So here is my new Charging Shudderwock deck. Hopefully Shudderwock haters (I actually hate the OTK deck as well) will like this deck a bit better. Also the Omega Mind and Volcano combo is added in the deck for healing. Let me explain (the explanation is also in the deck guide):

1) give shudderwock charge with: Armored Warhorse × 2  (need to be lucky) or Leatherclad Hogleader × 2 (other minions such as: Coldlight Oracle × 2  and King Mukla × 1  will hopefully make your opponent have more than 6 cards to gain charge)

2) copie shudderwock with: Saronite Chain Gang × 2 and Doppelgangster × 1

3) now Coldlight Oracle × 2 will make sure you draw cards as well so Midnight Drake will give shudderwock more attack value.

AND NOW HERE IT REALLY COMES: The Mistcaller and Star Aligner combo. If you are lucky you will end up with:

Quite possibly the worst OTK deck posted on HearthPwn ever. From the near impossible conditions, to the unfortunate misunderstanding of how Star Aligner actually works.

@ Diamond, I see what you are saying. I know it is not a guaranteed OTK, I will remove it from the name as I do not want to mislead others. When I played this deck when Witchwood was out, it was way more fun than the famous OTK deck. I just adjusted the deck with new cards from Boomsday. I am also looking for a way to make Star Aligner work. Omega defender seems like a fun addition. Except for fire fly there is no "useless" battlecry (even curator is needed to draw the other battlecry minions).

@ Dude, you are wrong, I've tried to make a hunter OTK Abominable Bowman deck that was way worse, lol.

That is usually a cache issue and you can generally solve it by editing an extra character to the post. However, i dont think your change saved at all, since i dont see it when i edit your post.

Your win condition is praying to RNGesus for Shudderwork to give itself Charge without your control and to copy itself 4 times after he gave himself the charge, or to have buffed Shudderwock with Mistcaller and have him copy himself before he replays Star Aligners and still manage to get Charge on it at least before two copies of himself.

Your deck is not an OTK deck, much like Shudderwock lists without Murmuring Elementals are not OTK decks, since they cannot deal 30+ Damage to the opponent in a turn every single game, they need to be lucky with the order Shudderwock replays battlecries, something out of your control.

Also, for the deck, you should not include so many "useless" Battlecries, and focus more on the ones you really want. Your deck has almost no card draw, you are extremely unlikely to draw all you want to play before Shudderwork. On top of that, as good as Coldlight Oracle is for the Charge activation, don't forget that this will also likely kill you since you will likely be close to fatigue by the time you drew all the cards you need.

 Dude if you use mururing + shud you basically repeat shud battlecry and ensure you the otk (avoiding taunt)

 In which deck? If you mean the normal Shudderwock played in Ranked, then yes, you ensure OTK if you play Murmuring in the list and discounted with Grumble. But most people play the Keleseth version which is not an OTK deck as it cannot guarantee the return of Shudderwock to hand for the OTK the following turn. The Murmuring version is an OTK list (It's the one I prefer to use, I rather not lose to randomness).

 Actually i play the kelesth + murmuring. Yes i'm crazy but it works anyway because i use Witchwood piper.
Also, you can discount murmuring using the elemental (not grumble) and then use it with shud and ensure a big stuf in the board.

First game in a week (still at rank 20 I know) but just had to post this. Too bad Star Aligner triggered before Shudderwock copied itself.

Still had 218 damage in 1 turn as they all had charge:

So obviously the Star Aligner was an idea that did not work (even after I got to understand the card, lol). So I changed the deck a while ago (but never updated it here on the site) and now it has 2 (possible) win conditions. High attack value Charging Shudderwocks and high attack value C'Thun battlecry combo. Usually one of them works fine (against big spell mage):

@Aximili: Nice deck, is this still wild? If yes I would change one of the windfury minions to that 2 mana Shaman mech with windfury so Zilliax has something to combo with. Also The Curator has some nice synergy as you have beast, murloc and dragons in your deck plus another mech for Zilliax to use its magnetic ability on.

UPDATED: I have brought life to this deck as soon as I could play the new Shaman quest. I edited the deck. Basically the plan is to give value to the cards you play that will give value to Shudderwock.

Hopefully you will get a Shudderwock with:

• high attack (Midnight Drake × 2, Omega Defender × 2)
• charge (Leatherclad Hogleader × 2 comboing with: Coldlight Oracle × 2 and King Mukla × 1 to fill opponents hand)
• a few copies: Doppelgangster × 2
• C'Thun's battlecry (combing ofcourse with Midnight Drake × 2, Omega Defender × 2)
• windfury (it is a long shot but: Siamat × 1 helps)

Corrupt the Waters × 1 and The Curator × 1  tie the deck together.

So first couple of versions of this deck were terrible, but now with the new card from the Scholomance expansion it actually turned out a gauranteed OTK. I am talking about: Tour Guide

Play Tour Guide + use (0) mana Hero Power + play Shudderwock to get a huge minion (or multiple if you are lucky) with charge. It can play C'Thun battlecry as well to finish opponent.
