What are your exp with Hagatha the Witch on the first day of the new set? Hagatha the Witch is much better than I thought she would be, and the card has helped me recover and retake games on the first day of testing my Shaman decks.
I think Hagatha the Witch is a keeper, and I look forward to playing more games with the new Shaman DK :)
-It offers a highroll'd board-wide lightning storm with no overload which is worth 5 mana (3 + 2), useless to clear useless/silenced totems if you have any and wish to get rid of them to get more room for incoming minions.
Only 2 mana remain to justify the 8 mana cost so the new hero power is worth 2 mana as any other basic hero power but you only pay to use it once. The effect is easily comparable to Witch's Apprentice. However, it's worth noting that aside from the overload effect, shaman spell are quite efficient in general with a few exception like totemic might and in some rare case sapphire spellstone.
If you get Spirit Echo on an OK board, you can get some really good value. Overall this new hero can give the much needed edge on everlasting control matchups.
I have a question though, can Hagatha actually give you Totemic Might even though her presence means you no longer can generate basic totems ?
It seems ok. I'm playing nearly all minions and no AoE so getting lots of spells after Hagatha is played is the backup plan. Other than that it's an aggro/midrange deck with lots of burst damage.
EDIT: It's also cheap as chips if you already got Hagatha, I only needed to craft 2 Blazecallers, which I did the other day anyway to play a deck similar to Firebat's mage deck he played on the Witchwood Inn-vitational (since I also have Aluneth on my US account).
EDIT2: Some things I am definitely going to try out as variants - I have heard that Vicious Scalehide is great when there is a Flametongue Totem on board, and good to clear 1/1 tokens when there is a healing totem on board.
Weapon removal is obviously a tech choice.
Fungalmancers could be useful, I'd probably run Fire Plume Phoenix and Fire Elementals as one-ofs in that case. Synergises well with Murmuring Elementals too.
Bloodlust instead of Cauldron Elemental.
Maybe 1 copy of Lightning Storm. I don't like the overload though.
I don't own Kalimos but obviously that would be worth adding in.
If you want a more defensive and less aggro version it may be worth adding 1 volcano and an Acolyte of Pain, which is better than Mana Tide Totem for draw then.
I did open Shudderwock and while I have seen similar lists running it, you really don't want Blazecaller to hit your own face multiple times ;) Blazecaller and Murmuring Elemental is the main finisher in this deck.
Yes, she has been a great addition to my Elemental Shaman deck, and I want to add the Bogshaper to my list. When I discover a Bogshaper from the Servant of Kalimos, they do some nice work for card draw :)
I didn't realise Bogshaper is also an elemental, that would make it better in my list than I originally thought (but mine is probably too aggro for the risk of having 2 8 mana cards as dead draws early on).
I've seen a slower list to mine which has it, (and also Sandbinder which seems bad if your deck is mainly elementals anyway). One list I saw even had Shudderwock as well, seems bonkers considering you can get Blazecallered in your own face multiple times then sometimes.
I'll definitely try Bogshaper next time I get offered it from Servant of Kalimos though.
The problem with Hagatha decks is that you often get your hand crammed with useless spells and you miss your draws
In Elemental/Mid-Range Shaman, yes.
In Murloc Shaman, not so much. That's why I feel the hero is best suited for the latter. Elemental Shaman rarely plays more than one or two cards per turn and doesn't need an additional 3 dmg AoE, whereas Murlocs Shaman can afford to reset the board thanks to Unite the Murlocs and make good use of the extra value.

deck seems pretty good, but is Hagatha really that needed in a deck like this?
Like I said it's the backup plan, in case you need to use the Blazecallers battlecry to clear minions, most of the deal damage battlecry minions are better against minions than hitting the opponent's face.

I have a feeling this deck would be good in wild. If you run Hallazeel (yes ik I spelled his name wrong), the 5 mana 4-6 which lets you regain health after casting a spell, this deck might be even better. I might be wrong, but its possible
Seems a bit random that though, considering I have no deal damage spells at all. Halazeal only heals when spells do damage. Ragnaros would be better in wild I think...

Any shaman deck will be a lot better in wild, shaman lost so many good early tools/tempo plays this rotation :/

it does, but maybe you can get rid of the Hot Spring Guardians and maybe both weapons to add damage spells (this is for wild) to add maybe Maelstrom Portal and some other damage spell
Yeah, if I was playing this in wild I'd definitely replace the weapon with Jade Claws, add in Jade Lightning and Maelstrom. I don't have Halazeal though, and Hot Spring Guardian is good for healing minions as well. If I need more healing I would add a Healing Rain, that's pretty good.
Halazeal is an elemental so could be a pick from Servant of Kalimos.

I think Hagatha the Witch is a keeper, and I look forward to playing more games with the new Shaman DK :)
I love her but sadly she gets overshadowed by Shudderwock
Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.
She's auctally pretty good
Don't mind me just passing by
She is quite bad, you want to play her in a minion based deck, but the effect is symmetric, and doesn't let you totem before playing her..
Also the battlecry feel underwhelming at best..
I think she is not that bad. I play it in quest deck for the longer attrition game. She is quite good with the echoing murloc.
Let's analyze the card :
-It offers 5 armor which is worth 1 mana.
-It offers a highroll'd board-wide lightning storm with no overload which is worth 5 mana (3 + 2), useless to clear useless/silenced totems if you have any and wish to get rid of them to get more room for incoming minions.

Yes, she gives you Totemic Might
I think she's really good. I mean, ofc some spells suck, but often she saves you.
I opened her on my US arena/dailies only account and am tinkering with this deck

Hagatha is amazing, especially with Bogshaper. In fact, I am in the process of posting my second build with her.
But just to illuminate:
