How on this earth, is this card ever any better than rexxar? 2 mana less and way more, less random and unconditional value. And even he doesnot exactly dominate the meta.
Both are control cards, shaman have much better cards for control than hunter.
With the current Shaman spells and the a bit too slow battlecry I still think Hagatha is playable at best, perhaps if strong Shaman spells will be released it might justify hoping to get them from her
made an analysis of the shaman spells in "control shaman" copying it here I guess it's a valid look at the shaman spells.. too many of them are situational or bad.. mage has far more "always good" spells.
The problem with this card are the Shaman's spells, they are bad, very bad and the only change that can make it viable is the addition of good spell next expansion, otherwise, it will be a 400 dust.
She would go from meh to AMAZING with one change--if her battlecry said "Hex all minions." She would counter warlocks as a class and give priests a great deal of pain.
that would be as brocken as hell, but what would be better is if it said "destroy all minions, summon 0/1 frogs with taunt to replace them"

Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.
The problem I have with the card is that I cannot see a middle ground here. It looks bad right now because shaman spells are too situational (bad) and many of them are only good when you have a board. The battlecry hurts and reduces your board. For example, generating a 0-cost Bloodlust isn't great when you just cleared your own totems and can't make them anymore.
On the way to good/OP side, what happens if Blizzard creates a bunch of face damage spells for shaman like crackle or some 8-10 mana crazy value spells that will be abused by our good friend Spiteful Summoner. This could get out of control very quickly. I really do not trust Blizzard to find a healthy middle ground on this one. I predict Hagatha will either be bad or batshit broken!
Potential in any deck, why would we need a heavy minion to use him? The fact is spells he give you is free, totally free, just play any kind of deck and add him to get value in lategame, he bring the same goal with any other DKs.
But I personnally think he will fit most in midrange elemental decks.
Here is my fun theorycraft freezing elemental shaman.
I don't know how the need for your opponent to always consider you might've gotten a Bloodlust or even 2, or 3x Lava Burst, or an additional Hex...can ever be considered bad.
It may be good with tue abuse of echo creatures like the 3 mana 2/4 taunt. Frogs should shut off cubelock, aoe and healing should stop agro. I like it but it's more rng fiesta like all shaman shit.
How is hagatha going to beat Rin the first disciple+ dark pact? It doesn’t matter how many crappy spells you hit them with once they play Azari and nuke your deck, it’s over.
Not to mention you might also have to beat a Frost Lich Jania which good luck if you plan on playing a lot minions against.
Personally i think hagatha isn’t enough as a card that will make control shaman work compared to the big late game decks that will stick around with witchwood.
For the record Totemic Might is horrible to take a deck slot, but a free casting of it? Actually really strong if you have the correct cards. Heck, even getting stuck with a freePrimal Talismans could make totemic might really okay to get!
yeah control shaman needs some support and now that mean streets and karazhan are going away shaman will lose some good tools again like the Jinyu WaterspeakerJade Claws and Maelstrom Portal so yeah,we better get some good tools, shaman almost always has been the underdog apart from that midrange meta with the 7/7 and evolve

I would love that! But i feel like it would have to be a 10 mana hero card since that effect is OP without any doubt in my mind even though your minions also get transformed, you're still the one dictating what happens, plus we haven't seen all the expansion, maybe blizzard made a 10 mana spell that does that only to the enemy minions lol,we'll have to wait and see

please accept that shaman is a dead class
the current state of shamans is just below
it seems it is not going to change for a while
Spirits be with you man !

Hagatha seems pretty strong to me.
You can't stop the signal.

I will crush you!
Cant wait to see the Rexxar vs Hatha crown rng festa game
Let the RNG fiesta begin! first we got random shit minions from evolve now we will get random shit spells too!

Amazing until you get totemic might a couple of times throughout the game.
Release the Kraken!
A late game totemic might or three could be really good on your Nightmare Amalgam, Flametongue Totem Primalfin Totem and Mana Tide Totem
this will work extremely well with echo

let's also consider that shaman will likely get some juicy spells in this expansion
