I'm doing terrible vs hunters and aggrolocks. Sometimes, even when I get the cards I want in my hand (relatively speaking.)
Vs hunters I don't put down totems very much and try to play patient, but they beat me even without hounds being effective. Vs locks I try to remove efficiently and run them out of steam. When it works its beautiful but largely its a fail even if I hit a nice storm.
I'm not saying I play this deck well (I don't) but I feel I'm missing something. Any cards you can think to add? My other matchups are good. Any advice in particular?
This match is more like a race, if you keep losing, consider a Doomhammer at this deck,Defender of Argus on totems and Argent Squire [/card] will make he wastes some recourses clearing yours taunts, [card]flametongue totem is usefull to race him and trigger traps with yours totems.
Board control is very important here, try to put something on the board at the same turn which Lightning Storm was used, like Sen'jin Shieldmasta, Feral Spirit, Unbound Elemental. Shaman most likely will take some damage till stabilize the board, probabilly around of turn 5 you can get a fast comeback.
IPlaying most of time with Face Hunter, Midrange Shaman and Zoo Lock. I'm not a good player, but my win rate at these matchups are pretty high atm.
Thanks, the Yeti is so nice in other matchups, I haven't wanted to swap him for a Senjin. I think there is a problem with my feral spirit play, but I'm not sure what. I have a habit of jamming the board with them asap, no idea if that's always wise.
I'll play around with argent squire too, my deck always starts so slow. Pass, totem, most times.
The Hunter matchup is always rough for a Shaman. It's scary to make a totem since you may end up paying the price against Starving Buzzard + Unleash the Hounds combo. Be conservative with Totemic Might and playing your minions. Trumps F2P decklist was for an older meta-game so I have some recommendations for replacements. To improve the Zoo matchup, you want to add x2 Argent Squire and x2 Harvest Golem to have a decent early game. I'd remove x2 Acidic Swamp Ooze for at least x1 Wild Pyromancer for added board clear potential with your spells - Lightning Storm being the most important one against Zoo. Be aware of Overload for next turn when playing an Overload card, and plan your next turn during the current one. Make changes to adapt to the meta. If there's a lot of aggro, the above suggestions will improve your win-rate drastically.
Hi, I'm playing a deck similar to Trump's Free To Play deck. Mid range no real tricks to it. https://sites.google.com/site/trumpdecks/freetoplay#freeshaman

Hi, you can make some few changes here, like -1xAcidic Swamp Ooze, -1xStormforged Axe, +2xArgent Squire,-1xChillwind Yeti and +1xSen'jin Shieldmasta.
Key Cards vs Hunter: Argent Squire, Flametongue Totem, Feral Spirit and Defender of Argus,Earth Shock.

Key Cards vs Aggrolock(Zoo): Argent Squire, Rockbiter Weapon,Lightning Storm,Lightning Bolt,Sen'jin Shieldmasta.

I think swapping the Chillwind Yeti with Sen'jin Shieldmasta is a bad idea, just because u have 2x Feral Spirits. 4 taunts is pretty enough while u also have Defender of Argus.

My Advice:
Ex Shaman Forum Mod and trumpet playing skeleton.
To be fair, it's hard to play shaman without burst. I know trump doesn't like doomhammer and Al'Akir, but I can't imagine playing shaman without them.
