chippydip who are you talking to? Your post first is not relevent to this thread. About your second post it's a nice idea to put Doomsayers but I just want you to realise Nozdormu has 8 dmg so you won't be clearing him off the field with it without a taunt.
Uh...first post (on page 1) was my version of the deck and the other two posts were replying to the guys I quoted. How is any of that not relevant?
As for the Doomsayers and Nozdormu, I have 4 taunt minions in my version and often have both Doomsayers to play the turn before I pop the combo. Even that won't always ensure my board gets cleared, but it seems like pretty good odds most of the time. In any case, if the enemy has a strong board I probably don't have to worry about making space for the combo since it should be relatively easy to kill off my minions by just attacking normally.
I just watched your first video where you won and you made a huge mistake that actually cost you the game. You had 9 cards in your hand when you smashed loothoarder but didn't draw a card (which would have been coldlight oracle). You would have gotten 10 cards in your hand and at the star of your next turn you would have gotten brewmaster which would then be discarded. (I'm avatarkiyoshi)
Why would he discard one of the cards needed for the combo? Clearly half his hand isn't needed, so just discard one of those instead.
But on a different note I thought someone said you can bounce brewmaster on itself is that not true?
That was my speculation, but I guess that might not actually be true. (I thought I remembered seeing cards actually enter the battlefield before the target of Battlecry abilities was selected, but apparently I'm mis-remembering?)
My apologies chippydip I couldn't find the original post belonging to Are_you and read droping Illidian and Ice block but somehow missed the opponent part and since this is a shaman deck I figured it was about some other deck and that you misplaced your post in the wrong thread. Wisps and other cards you mentioned didn't fit into the draw card nature of the deck which also mislead me but after watching noxious's video and seeing it in action I now understand the relevance of what you meant.
Didn't look at your vesion much sorry and assumed it was more or less like noxious's. I can see how doomsayer would fit in your deck. Also your responce was enlighting on doomsayers useage that cleared some things for me thx.
He has to discard the brewmaster that he draws at the start of his turn. When you have 10 cards all additional cards gets discarded. Only Illidian makes you choose the cards you want to discard. On that note in regards to Are_you's post; you can counter Illidian by having at least 3 more cards in your hand other than your combo cards and like chippydip mentioned it will help you get to your combo.
And if you also want to watch another best of 3 with the modified version with Earth Shock, vs. a Hunter Aggro deck which Forsen says has an 85% win rate vs. randoms: http://www.twitch.tv/forsenlol/b/413888922?t=52m57s
Enjoy =]!
Hey you get to see Forsen thoroughly trash your deck twice when played by me in that video =D
Dat Hunter Aggro deck. Against an aggro deck it just lacks enough removal. Against other decks I feel like the draw power is a bit lacking before you get the Auctioneers out. I think im gonna try and make warlock version of this since I prefer their removal and draw power to that of a shaman.
Also to address the time limit issue brought up: If you play two Knife Jugglers you would easily be able to burn them down fast enough.
Edit: I can't believe you won a match against him without the combo Nox. ROFL Luck of the Draw

Yeah; I'd like to play his deck again some time =]
If you watch that game again though you'll see how much removal I had. That's what the deck is about. Removal + Draw to get to where I need. Some games WILL happen like this, where I get tons of removal and no combo pieces until VERY late.

I watched it again to make sure, and I actually drew the Mana Tide Totem =]

Is that really how it works? I must have missed the blue post or whatever where they explained that rule. Seems like much more of a penalty than a standard "discard at the end of your turn" rule.

It's not a blue post, it's actually a reply to a tweet I sent them directly.
