So i was bored at work and wanted to know how good Burgle really is so i made some tables and ranked the class cards.
Very good cards got 3 points Average but playable cards got 1 point Bad cards with bad stats or no effect on their own got 0 points And useless cards except 1 or 2 situations got -1 point
I know that these cards are offten very situational and the value depends of your deck and the opponents deck. I tried to rank these cards in an normal way and with an average rogue deck like Oil Rogue, also the TGT cards are not in there, yet. Maybe I will update them if you want me to and the thread is active enough.
I think later tonight I'll try to do the same but separate it for different deck styles (a pirate deck, for example, would benefit from different stuff than a milling deck) and post the numbers I come up with. What do you think?
Nice work man, i agree with most of these, but i wouldn't call Gallywix bad, at least i wouldn't put him on the same place as vanish.
Mostly accurate tho.
When you play Gallywix 5 times on one day against a druid and take 5 combos (FoN-Roar) at turn 6 (Coin) or with double Savage he gets a bad card. Or when you play him against a mage don't do it just DON'T :D
I would agree with most of them, but one that bothers me the most is sacrificial pact. There are what, 3? lock types available now, where zoo uses at least imp gang bosses, doomguards and usually voidwalkers, the demon lock uses maany demons, and vs a handlock sacrificial pact is invaluable as it makes him unable to even play Jaraxxus. And you playing burgle makes him think twice before playing that card, just because you might have gotten sacrificial pact. I would absolutely value it at 3 points vs a lock and -1 vs any other class, but since burgle steals from your opponent class, it's definitely 3 points imo.
Sacrificial Pact should be rated a 3(not -1!!!!). You can only get it when you are facing a warlock, and all warlocks today run some demo of some sort.

you are both right i will update it tomorrow when I'm back at work ;D

But you can only get it vs Rogue. I think you may not considered the fact that you only get these cards against their particular classes. Same with Sacrificial Pact
I went over the specific scores you gave cards, and... I don't know, there's quite a few I disagree with.
Maybe what we need is a dynamic version of this where you assign scores yourself according to the deck you're trying to build and then get the results :)
Totemic Might is 0 mana combo activator, it's not so useless
yeah but that's the only use of it. and you can activate your combo with nearly every cheap spell. I know it has his advantages but no direct impact to the game.
All in all really good but your evaluation of some of the priest cards are off. Cards like shadow madness and cabal shadowpriest are average but silence is good? I guess with silence you can combo easier with rogue cards because is costs 0 but that is about the only reason i can think of that silence is considered good.
First, there will be far more cards to be added in the expansion, and tou cant count them.
Second, it seems like you made this list by searching for cards that are good for oil or miracle. A rogue that uses this card will probably play control.
Third, there should be some definition to greaat cards! Like ghazrilla, malganis and more, some that form alone a win condition.
This card is better then thoughtsteal. With 3 class legendaries... Just wow.
I Updated the lists with some of your feedback. I really didn't thought about that u get [card]Sacrificial Pact[/card] only against a Warlock or that u have Flare against a hunter. Alltough some classes have realy good counter against their own strategies so Burgle will be definitly in my deck.
Love Burgle. Its a mind-fu**er card much like Thoughtsteal. Im working on a control rogue with a high curve and this is going to be a staple card in the mix. This value assumption is pretty close to how i already looked at the possibilities.
It is also a proven point of mine that the neutral 6 mana 5/5 that gives you a paladin card is actually good because in most cases you are going to get something you can use from the Paladin set. Getting Tirion from anywhere at any cost should be highly valued.

Easy N'zoth Quest Priest
Last two hours of work no big deal ;)
Yep I don't see much I would change, this is actually really nice for determining value! Thanks a bunch.
I like this :)

Ancient of War is worse than Healing Touch? Some of these are weird :P
Dab
You're doin' the Lord's work here Son... Mighty fine job.
Unbowed. Unbent. Unbroken.

thx
Sacrificial Pact isn't actually useless against a Warlock because Zoo plays Demons and Handlock sometimes runs Lord Jaraxxus.
Has the potential to be insane.

ancient of war is average?
My soul is painted like the wings on butterflies, the fairytales of yesterday will grow but never die. I can fly, my friends.

Smashing work, Green Ranger.
