I tried out many rogue decks in the last few weeks. I tried water rogue and even captain Hooktusk but water rogue (played over 100 games between rank 5 and 3) did not feel really competitive . Could you may help me out?
It's a shitty meme deck with Sea Giants that people were convinced to play because a few GM's played it without really testing if it was good. Spoiler it sucked back in Rise, and still sucks.
To answer OP, it's Tempo Rogue, slightly altered from the Rise meta. Turns out Myra's makes everything else irrelevant if you're interested in winning, which is lame as hell but that's the meta were faced where one of the quests (Druid) requires you doing nothing to activate, wherein you again have to do nothing to reap its benefits.
tl;dr Rogue go face if you want to win, there just isn't diversity for Rogue in Standard right now, no 2 ways about it.
Gotta tell you, I'm a seasoned rogue player and I'm very sad on the current situation of the class. It's one of the lamest classes in the current meta, and I'm a rogue lover since I started playing this game in beta. I'm avoiding playing with rogue at the moment because It's not fun when all other classes are stronger and can outvalue you EASILY. Rogue is the marginal class atm and turns out it's going to take some time until it stands a chance against Hunters, Warriors, Shamans and Priests. I don't mean they should nerf other classes (I actually think they're pretty balanced overall), but buff rogues (since Blizzard simply BUTCHERED the class in the last nerfs).

For me, it's bye bye Rogue for some time.
My 3 favorites are rogue, mage and warrior.
Blizzard completely destroy, ruined rogues and mages with endless unfair nerfs and HoF's, until the actual stage we don't have nothing in Standard and make warrior a very strong but boring class to play, like you don't have decisions to make when build the deck or play the cards.
For the most competitive it's tempo rogue. THIS seems to be best/ most popular list right now.
Tbh though I'd say just play burgle rogue instead, specifically the version with higher lackey generation and Togwaggle. It may not win as much but it gives interesting and varied games that are going to be far more engaging than spending a bunch of turns hoping for a Myra's draw to get you over the line after dumping your hand. One provisor though - it gets dunked on pretty hard by highlander hunter which is everywhere atm. I tech'd around this by adding a couple of Khartut defenders and now my build feels like it has a legitimate chance against any deck which is nice. Nothing worse than feeling like a game's decided before you even mulligan.
tempo rogue is weaker than aggro warrior and has the same goal, burst opponent face why would people play it. reached legend with aggro warrior in less than 3h from rank 5 that deck is stupidly strong like combo priest
quest rogue, bad vs hunter/priest/druid, vs all the top tier decks
im playing right now highlander quest rogue with hooktusk pirate package quite fun, i reached rank 1 but damn its hard this deck is a combo deck made to beat control decks like control warrior or shaman, but there is almost no control decks in the ladder

Thank you!
Whats Water Rogue?
I like to make cards and discuss game balance.
I enjoy when "No similar decks were found."

If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.
with the new nerf to control warrior i think tempo rogue might be good again
I am currently playing highlander rogue cuz zephrys is great with shadowstep and other return hand mechanics
Same here and Tess + Scheme vs control warrior.

Rogue sucks so much in this meta.
