Why do you need sprints when you have raiding party? raiding party is better than sprint.. Sprints also go against what your deck wants to do, you aren't a late game deck fishing for big threats, the earliest u can play sprint is turn 4 and thats WITH prep, you want to use preps for raiding parties, not sprint... remove sprints, add a myra's if you really want late game draw.
You said you are having problems beating control decks, the sprints are your problem, you don't want to be stuck with 2 sprints in hand, you want minions and weapons and you want to pressure and punish the slow decks.. Don't overextend for board clears, unless you are sure they used all of them.
Get rid of sprints for the love of god.. and go netdeck the numerous tempo rogue deck lists out there.

Thanks for pointing this out in detail. Done I netdecked Orange's Rogue deck (minus the Captain), will give it another go.
Its a tempo deck so the basic game plan is to create a strong board while dealing with the opponent's minions. Generally speaking you want to play for maximum board presence (without over committing against control decks with AoE spells). This said it is important to be aware that Rogue has a lot of burst (Leeroy with Shadow step is 12, Eviscerates give you 4 more reach, buffed Waggle Picks can generate further damage). It pays dividends to be aware of your current maximum burst from hand as this will tell you when you are better off ignoring the board and sending some or all of your minion attacks to the face to put your opponent in range to kill them on the following turn. Tempo Rogue can close games out extremely fast, but it isn't a pure aggro deck and doesn't lose if you fail to end the game quickly.
I think RDU's list is pretty close to optimal. It plays Hench Clan Thugs over Blink Foxes (much better snowball potential) and cuts Vendettas (very weak in Rogue mirrors when Burgler is the only activator), Sprints, Ooze, Togwaggle (good card in a slow meta but not fast enough right now), and the second Burgler for Myra's Unstable Element, Captain Greenskin, second Sap, two Southsea Deckhands and two Deadly Poisons. If you don't have the dust to craft all the legendaries there are some decent alternatives but Myra's Unstable Element is super broken and worth crafting for sure.

I think I came across RDU's list but since I didn't have Myra, I tried to make a deck similar to Orange's list. Currently watching some gameplay of RDU playing the deck so I might be tempted to craft Myra. However, I want to wait a couple of weeks to see how the meta changes before crafting anything. Maybe, I don't know.
If you really want Sprint's cut the Waggle and raiding party and go a more miracle style with high draw...though if we're talkin' effectiveness Tempo seems generally stronger atm. Personally the version with Sprint is more engaging to play.

If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.
Why do u have Vendeta and blink foxes? Add hench clan thug, Deadly poison and add a Greenskin if u have it. 2 sprints are a tad bit overkill. Default deck is the best. U would be suprised how much games did i win just cuz Greenskin. I do have Van Cleef but i dont like to use it in this deck. If u like i would play u. I would say your deck is too slow.

kind of ridicolous how many wrong advises you get here :D
let me help you:
there are so many different rogue builds and it is still not clear which is the best one, tempo rogue got a lot of flex spots but I have played more than 300 games wit hthe deck since rotation, playtesting all kind of different cards, climbed from rank 4 to legend and currently sitting at ~ top 500.
Here are cards that suck from my opinion:
- Sprint:
no don't even play one copy it is totally useless and way to slow
- Hench Clan Thug:
it plays out poorly with other cards in the deck like f.e. waggle pick on t4, you always want to coin EVIL miscreant t2 and in some scenarios SI7 to clear early board, both plays are way better on curve than playing thug, by the way, EVIL miscreant even made SI7 way worse and you can think about cutting one copy (it's still better than Clan Thug)
- ooze :
yes, ppl were running a copy of it early days of expansion, now it's clear that it is not worth a slot in tempo rogue - cut it!
- myras:
yes there are ppl still playing it in some lists but my opinion is that it is pretty useless in most of the match up's since you will have cards and something to play in like 99% of all games, there is almost no scenario where you want to draw you deck, party and miscreant always refills your hand and that's enough so I would not play it at all.
Fan of knives:
NOPE don't even run one copy , it is way too slow and won't win you the token druid match up! you also don't need more draw.
Deadly Poison / deckhand package:
I found it to be pretty useless mostly in mirror match ups, I also never missed the burst potetial of this package and t 1 deckhand sucks anyway, in general, you don't have to play anything on t1 , no one drop minions needed at all.
now I go over to cards which I would suggest you to run and which are working out the best for me:
2 x Sap:
I would never cut a copy of it , it autowins you match up's like mech hunter or any kind of mage and also helps you in a mirror against early edvin.
EVIL cable rat:
I would always suggest to run at least one copy of it, lackeys are totally OP and more in tempo rogue since they are 1 mana cost cards which always helps you to combo
Togwaggle:
playing one cable rat also makes your tog way better, I know there are ppl thinking it's a bad card but I would not cut this package at all ! it's always great and helps you to outvalue your opponent in a lot of match up's.
Greenskin:
core card ! nothing better to Greenskin yout waggle pick on t5!
Vendetta / Hench Clan Burglar / Blink Fox package:
it was the best performing version for me running these 6 cards! 0 mana vendetta on t3 or4 is awesome in the mirror match up since it clears Greenskin or Dread Corsair on curve and allowing you to play a combo card the same turn ! Great package over all, never want to miss it!
hopefully it helps you to build a better version of tempo rogue :)

I agree with most points in this. I do run one copy of Fan of Knives, and it's helped me in a few matches against Token Druid. I guess just keep it on your sideboard, and stick it in just in case you run into a lot of Druids. On the other hand, I think Myra's Unstable Element is very strong. It can give you that last little bit of burst, and you can even combo it with Chef Nomi for a board that will kill your opponent if he doesn't clear it. It's good because it doesn't die to Warpath, Flamestrike, most Shadowflame and and unstacked Hagatha's Scheme, most of which you can bait out early on anyways. As for Heistbaron Togwaggle, I don't think it's necessary. My reasoning is as follows:
There are 2 Tempo Rogue lists as of yet: one which out values the opponent, and one which just kills them quickly. The slower version is the one that runs Heistbaron Togwaggle, Myra's Unstable Element and Chef Nomi as opposed to the bugle package, which is in the faster version. It looks like you're trying to find a mix of both, which probably won't work out. I prefer the faster version, but either way, you still just 100% need Captain Greenskin.
forgot to mention Chef Nomi at cards I would not run since it only saw play early days of expansion tbh so I already forgot about the card. from my opinion, myra's is useless as I explained, never missed it in any match up so therefore no Nomi cause you can only run these 2 cards together.
I can see that you can play her in a list with myra's but I never saw Nomi again after expansion day..
I don't find my version as slow and still I play tog - I often got a lackey stick on board for t6 into tog prep treasure t6 which is super powerful and still a great tempo play, but as I said you should run at least one cable rat in this package to make tog more consistant.

Thanks a lot guys. Lots of good advice to absorb. Gonna go and practice with your decklists.
I've seen your list and I'd say it's a poor one for laddering now, at least for me. I've picked up Tempo Rogue on Day 1, moved from rank 8 to rank 3, but I'm facing walls of Control Warriors, which is problematic.
Why I said your decklist is poor for laddering? It's a mix a more typical Tempo list and a Burgle Tempo list. Paraphrasing Ron Swanson, it's a celery of desserts :P Either be one, or the other.
So, if you go with burgling, add other burgle cards (like that 4/3 for 4 Kobold that gives you a spell) and pair them with Underbelly Fence. Personally I find that list inferior to the normal Tempo decklist, but it kinda works better in mirrors and vs Token Druid and Murloc Shaman, as Vendetta and said Underbelly Fence allow easier board control and tempo swings in those MU's.
However, I'd cut cut both Sprint and Vendetta, as well as Blink Fox and Acidic Swamp Ooze and go for Fan of Knives, second Sap, Myra's Unstable Element (I know you don't have it, but consider crafting it - it seriously wins games with Prep and double Evi, or Leeroy/Shadowstep/Wagglepick). Since you run lack 1-drops, drop Ooze and take that pirate that ticks one durability from a weapon - the usual weapons you'll be targeting will surely be used once, on the turn they are played (Wrenchcalibur and Wagglepick), but it's your choice. Consider a 1/3 1-drop like Crystallizer (I'm using one and it's extra cool).
This leaves you with the question - should you go with Chef Nomi, or not? It's a nice push vs Control Warriors and Control Shamans, but you REALLY need to count those board clears (Brawl nad Hagatha's Scheme). Atm I'm not sure if Heistbaron Togwaggle is necessary - I've hit Rank 3 with 3 stars yesterday before hitting Control Warrior wall and I'm not sure if Tog would help (I don't run one currently). On the other hand, Nomi would.

Thank you for the feedback. I'm trying this decklist but I'm also finding it hard to pilot. It's a surprisingly hard deck to pilot despite looking easy to play - currently practicing with it in Casual.
Regarding crafting Nomi, I might craft it, especially if some sort of OTK Priest becomes a thing in a month or so.

Can you guys provide me with some essential tips and knowledge regarding how to pilot Tempo Rogue?
Little tips that might be common knowledge to all but unknown to new players?
Currently on a 2-8 run at Rank 20.
I find it hard to beat decks like Silence Priest and Control Shaman
(NB: I have since changed my deck to Orange's version)

Myra's is one of the safest crafts of the game, if you want to play a lot of rogue.
