Caverns was never at least to me a busted card it was just really not fun to play against it was not fun and not interactive you could do nothing to win board state just rush the opponent down and made games less fun if I remember caverns only ever had around a 50% win rate
Yes, people always underestimate Rogue cards and claim that Rogue got the worst cards in every single expansion. HOWEVER, Onyx spellstone is indeed a bad card. Rogue already has plenty of hard removals (vilespine, sap, plague scientist in a minion heavy deck). The spellstone is just an overkill, and it has that horrible condition, therefore it's a horrible card.

People always underestimate rogue cards LOL that's why I don't understand everyone's hate for the new Lesser Onyx Spellstone
Seems totally busted in a deathrattle deck
I tried making a deathrattle deck to make it work, but just didnt seem consistent enough. Did you try making a deck? share plssss.
Just the condition seems to so hard to fulfill, and you have to fulfill it while you have the card in hand, and even if you do fulfill it, I feel like deathrattle cards doesnt even have enough tempo to generate enough threat.
I'm kinda hoping for rogue wep to have a deathrattle
Elven to draw out minions instead of spells, fal'dorei to add more spells to deck and get value, other stuff is just there as combo activators and putting some tempo
Well people have underestimated only a few of the rogue cards. Keleseth was an underestimated neutral while the most underestimated rogue cards were probably Shaku, Sherazin and The Caverns Below. Other than that, people have been dead on about cards like Shadow Rager, Spectral Pillager, Envenom Weapon, Leeching Poison, and Doomerang, or they have overvalued them. People tend to be pessimistic overall when something doesn't directly fit into a meta deck so you can't blame them for making a bad decision or two. Also, just because they've incorrectly judged cards in the past, doesn't mean this card will be good.

Still a lot of cards to be revealed with potential to give the deck even more support, but here was a quick deck I put together.
Yes OP, the deathrattle rogue will become an S-tier deck that it was always destined to be, we'll all be ashamed in 5 days, once the expansion goes live. Lack of random multi-target removal with absolutely terrible requirements was the only thing keeping deathrattle rogue back, but now it's here and Narnia is saved.
Also the yet to be revealed weapon will make Lilian Voss the best card ever printed.
boy, have people admired you the way you talk?
because you need to hear it more often. Seriously - I love your sense of humor (and sarcasm).
Yes exactly , also: obsidian shard, biteweed, lilian voss, bone baron, rune forge haunter, roll the bones, luckydo buccaneer and so on where pretty bad cards. Blizzard have had very low love for rogue. Fortunately this is not the case for the new expansions where the cards seems pretty good.
To be fair, the highest I've ever been (one star away from rank 1) was achieved with a deck that used both Shard and Luckydo as integral additions. They're awesome cards but just don't really fit into anything, like many of the other cards you've mentioned. Thankfully the rogue players always find a way to make our bullshit decks work, whether it's Keleseth shenanigans or the water rogue nobody expected. I guess Blizz just said "screw it" this time and let us have some fun cards. Hopefully I can make them regret it after spawning my 15th Jade Swarmer with all the copy cards coming out.

edit: oops, wrong thread
Nature is the Day.
Man is the Sun.
Woman is the Moon.
The Stone is the Sky.
The Art is the Way.
80% of new rogue cards in every expansion are bad so you can't blame them for being wrong about 1 or 2 cards when they were right about the rest.
Most the Deathrattles are bad I think it could work maybe...
