Hi, I'm a rogue main with over 500 wins and I haven't played hearthstone since blackrock mountain. I need help rebuilding rogue decks (i have a tempo and malygos deck before) since most of my cards are now wild including thaurissan w/c forced me to rebuild my deck
I need some advice regarding what cards can I disenchant safely, here's a list of all my legendary cards baron rivendare maexxna harrison jones loatheb thaurissan troggzor marin the fox uther of ebon blade jaraxxus malygos
malygos is the only legendary that I'm able to use right now in my decks, and I dont know what legendary should I prioritize crafting next since I dont even have the staple legendaries that get used in a lot of rogue decks (vancleef, thalnos, leeroy)
I don't play purely rogue so I'd probably save Harrison, Uther and Jaraxxus, I'm also thinking if I should save Loatheb since there might come a time where rogues and spells will be the meta so there's that. Everything else will probably turn to dust.
I'm contemplating whether to get VanCleef, Leeroy or Keleseth as my first. Also, should I spend my gold to arenas and packs to catch up with the latest cards or should I save for Karazhan since there are a lot of good cards there?
P.S. I came back at the wrong time since a month from now it's going to be flooding with new cards again :(
Jirooo: if you plan on playing Wild, I wouldnt dust anything. Who knows when these various cards will find a use in the Wild format.
If you plan to ONLY ever play Standard, then obviously any card that has rotated out of the format can be dusted. If you are just coming back to Hearthstone and plan to continue playing, I wouldnt craft anything from any of the current Standard sets. In just a few more months those cards will ALL rotate out to the Wild format, so youll have spent all of your dust on cards you will only play for about 3-4 months. Just wait until the first set of the new Standard rotation - the entire meta will start from the ground up again. Craft some of THOSE cards/legendaries so that youll have them for the entire next YEAR, not just a few months!
What are the rules on rotation anyway, is there a certain timeframe like every three months or something? Also are there certain staple legendaries for rogues that never get rotated? Because that would most likely be my priority in crafting then

Vancleef will always be a staple and never go away since he's in the Classic set.
Card sets are playable in standard for 2 years, then those cards become only available in WIld modes. Some cards get sent to this new Hall of Fame which is a Wild-only treatment to over-used auto-include cards like Sylvanas and Ragnaros and Conceal. Vancleef could be sent there but thousands of rogue players would probably quit the game since he's so popular.
I think i read an article on Blizzard about Malygos limiting design space for standard so they are thinking of moving it to hall of fame, so hold on to Maly so you can get full dust refund if ever that happens. Maexxna and Trogzor are sure dust but leave the other wild cards because you can use them in tavern brawls. Just save your golds for now, the new expansion is coming around the corner and check the card reveals if something appeals to you. And buy the first wing of karazhan so even if that rotated out you can buy the remaining wings at your own leisure.
"I have seen worlds bathed in the Makers' flames, their denizens fading without as much as a whimper. Entire planetary systems born and razed in the time that it takes your mortal hearts to beat once. Yet all throughout, my own heart devoid of emotion... of empathy. I. Have. Felt. Nothing. A million-million lives wasted. Had they all held within them your tenacity? Had they all loved life as you do?"

keleseth first would be best. its used in rogue, zoolock and paladin. maybe in druid too at a certain point when mark of yshraaj rotates. van cleef is great, one of my favorite legendary cards, but he can be replaced while you are on a budget.
Play casual and arena, collect some cards, gold and dust until expansion next April (when last year cards will rotate into the wild). As F2P, you cannot do anything else meaningful with that small collection.

As was said before, Standard rotation is every 2 years. The format moves all expansions to Wild mode, and they start over. Basic and Classic cards will always be playable, except for Classic cards moved to the “hall of fame,” which means a Classic card is moved to Wild because it is limiting design space. You can safely assume that Van Cleef will not be rotated. He is a Classic card and is not broken in any way, nor does he limit design space like Sylvanis did, where, for example, you couldnt make strong deathrattle-triggering effects.
As I said before, I would not craft anything that isnt a Classic card until early 2018, when the rotation happens. All current expansions will be moved to Wild, and the meta will completely start over. Dont waste your dust on a card that will only be playable for the next 3 months.

I was under the impression that only WotOG, MSG and Karazhan will move to wild come April. Un'Goro, KotFT and Kobolds will remain in standard for the next year.
