As a try hard control rogue player i'm so glad to say rogue finally has a effective board clear.
Most of you probably guessed it and might think it's too finicky, but damn Baron Geddon + Plague Scientist really gets the job done! The moment i tested it was against a taunt druid after killing his Hadronox to clear his board and he just didn't have a answer. He only had minions but they all died turn after turn because of Baron Geddon xD I guess that's 10 mana well spend for a sticky board clearing tool. It was by then that i realized how thankful i really am. The future of control rogue shines bright! :D
Dude. Wild Pyromancer and Plague Scientist. Board clear
That was my first thought too, but after thinking about it, there is some merit to running both. Wild pyromancer kills itself in the board clear, while Baron Geddon sticks around to the opponents turn, and then your opponent has to deal with a 7/5 baron geddon with no board for the rest of the game until it is removed. If your opponent doesn't have hard removal or a weapon, it can stick up forever.
I really like how Baron Geddon doesn't die in the process.
I don't like how he deals damage to you as well. That's dangerous, man, especially considering that Rogue is a fragile class to begin with. The deck would either need some healing, or lots and lots of aggro.
Tortollan Primalist will sometimes survive trades, and Plague Scientist guarantees that it kills something which is pretty sweet. It's sweet on anything with low power and/or a big butt and Taunt/Charge in general!
Also, the Wild Pyro -> Scientist -> Shadowstep on Scientist combo is neat too. If the deck ran some weenies like the charging Pirates or Murlocs then Plague Scientist could be used on them as well.
Hey! Plague Scientist can trigger Finja guaranteed! I never thought about that!
This is good vs a control or midrange deck (vs aggro you already won turn 10). You've to draw Geddon, to hope your opponent has no deathrattle minions or removal...

PS: Baron Geddon also does really well with Frost Lich Jaina

10 mana, too slow if you confronted with aggro
Just steal your opponents board clear from Lillian voss :p

10 mana is a really expensive board clear, but if your opponent doesn't have a way to remove geddon, you've won.. Seems useful in a slower rogue deck
Seems ok.
