Hey, everyone. I haven't posted in a while but I'd been discussing with others a little bit about some of the more subtle tools that KFC brings to the table, and I feel that Tainted Zealot offers something for the rogue class. Ever since the rotation of Azure Drake, I found that relying on Thalnos for that extra push of magic damage made things really tenuous. We're still seeing a surge of board-heavy decks early on, so I think that it's more important than ever. Here's a list that I've put together. I chose the cold-blood variance over the Giants for a couple of reasons: cold blood works with the Zealot because she has Divine Shield, thus sticks to the board better with the buff.
There are many other cards I'd love to try in the deck. Prince Valanar (though, I don't have a copy of him on either NA or EU), and perhaps find a place for mimic pod. I'm a bit skeptical about the Doomerang+ Shadowblade combo. Shadowblade is good, though. Maybe cut SI:7s for it? There's also the question of playing a more all-in style with questing adventurers. I'd love to hear your opinions. This list is no way set in stone. If you want to add more moving parts, try and justify why and how. Thanks!
Yeah, the neat thing is that you can have two and they're sticky. Perhaps we can live without that card draw and it's time to send Bloodmage Thalnos to retirement.
I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not. In any case, nothing pleases me more than a razor petal doing 2 or 3 damage. Or a fan of knives cleaning house.

No! I'm not sarcastic, this really seems like a better choice. I like the idea and i think i started incuding thalnos by automatism.
You can't have the cold blood package and the giants at the same time. There's no room in the deck whatsoever for both. The giants thing is relatively new, ever since conceal was move to the Hall of Fame. Because divine shield requires your opponent to deal two sources of damage, I feel that it's almost as good as conceal and thus brings a bit of new life into the archetype. Also, the spell damage is a must in rogue; hence Tainted Zealot over Argent Squire. Having razor petals do 2 damage instead of 1 is huge. Or fan of knives being a 5 mana consecrate + cycle.

Thalnos is too important to cut still. Getting one card closer to your burst is too important. Both spell damage and cycle are what make Rogue's combo cards continue to work.
