Seems like everyone is moaning about a good Rogue weapon on Vampiric Poison topic. In my opinion, Rogue shouldn't have high powered weapons since they would not fit the class. Rogues use daggers, knives and small swords that can be buffed with poisons and weapon buffing minions. As i already stated in the Vampiric Poison topic, a good weapon for rogue would be a cheap one with small damage and high durability which can be buffed with weapon buffing minions without losing tempo, something like Light's Justice, though i see nothing wrong with hero power weapon, albeit it wouldn't mind increased durability. Maybe something like Poisoned Blade which would increase durability when using hero power instead of attack.
If a weapon you imagined to be perfect with all the stuff available (deadly poison, envenom, vampiric poison) would appear this expansion, what would it be like in your opinion?
This is how the rogue weapon situation looks to me right now
Exactly this. Personally I think they need to move away from running weapon cards all together and move to creating new weapin buffs. I mean, it takes away the entire point of the hero power. We need a new card like Tinker's oil. Here is what I would do for rogue.
4 Mana Blade Flurry, Combo: Deal damage to your opponents hero as well.
6 mana Thowing Knives, Give your weapon plus 3 attack, Combo: Deal your weapon damage to all minions.
2 mana give your weapon +2 attack, combo add a deadly poison to your hand.
Stuff like this is what rogue needs. I cant say it is balanced well or even good, but it is the direction weapons need to go in rogue.
I agree, strong weapons should be left to warriors. Besides, obisidan shard is already a good weapon with great value when you discount it by one, let alone more.
I have never seen a problem with Perdition's Blade. I've used it in N'Zoth Rogue, Reno Rogue, Cthun Rogue, every Control list I've run. The weapon is just good.
have you seen some of the cards they have been coming out with recently? lol he asked about the perfect weapon not a balanced one :P i could of went crazier but this seemed ok for what we have been getting
Agreed. I think it is counterintuitive for rogues to have weapons when the whole 'weapons buff/poison' concept works more thematically and within the actual history of the game.
yeah it is over the top, i kind of agree with those that said buffs are the way to go. i think the rogue hero power should be utilized more, some balanced weapon buffs or even more creatures with weapon buffing like Goblin Auto-Barber could make the difference. it will be interesting to see where the rest of the cards end up being stat/effect wise this set

4 mana 2/3 combo: discover a card of theopponent class

I think Blizzard needs to seriously reconsider how weapons work in this game.
Eternal does a much better job:
Honestly, I think a huge number of Warrior and Rogue balance issues would never have existed if HS weapons worked like this.
"Why, you never expected justice from a company, did you? They have neither a soul to lose nor a body to kick." -- Lady Saba Holland
A weapon that doesn't suck.
But srsly, a 3 mana 3/2 weapon with a interesting effect would be nice
like combo : sap, something like that
2 mana 3 2.. Oh that would be too op.

the new weapon is ok. what do you think?
Yeah seriously stop weapons from hitting face imo.
With all these meme legendaries, i expect a meme legendary for rogue too, i hope it's gonna be some burgle stuff.
I suppose we're gonna get a weapon buff minion, i hope a cheap one, though i really abuse southsea squidface very well , but it must die first :P

That's a bit op :)

Well, i meant perfect but balanced, this is insane :D
