There's a good solution for all of this: Stop spending money on the game until they start printing better cards for us.
Blizzard wants classes to fluctuate in power level over time, which is fine, but my spending patterns will fluctuate to match.
I want to give Blizzard the benefit of the doubt, but it's really hard to get past some of the bullshit in these patch notes. Blizzard: When you say you are anti-OTK, and you nerf one OTK deck (Worgen) but leave another as-is (Anyfin), it's hard to take anything you say seriously.
I think they keep it in because otherwise they would have another class next to priest and roque without a competitive deck type in standard. But I feel you, even when they nerfed patron warrior I did not understand why anyfin was allowed to stay into the game.
What good removal does Rogue have(sap is not really removal)? What good weapons does Rogue have? What good AOE does Rogue have? Id rather have one good card of those three rather than 3 shitty types of cards
Then how would you descirbe sap? It's one of the best removals in the game.
Not only is Blizzard headed in the wrong direction with Rogue, they're also leaving a lot of design space un-utilized. Obviously the combo mechanic is a Rogue's thing, but it seems like stealth is as well, to a certain extent, kind of like divine shield is more of a Paladin thing. So why not make cards that interact with stealth? They nerfed Blade Flurry to open up design space, presumably to allow for better weapons for Rogue (because Rogue definitely needs it), but they haven't used it. So why not something like this?
Drawing on inspiration from Paladin's Rallying Blade, this opens up the possibility for a 'Stealth Rogue' archtype. Maybe make it just +1 attack, since Rogue can apply stealth more affordably than Paladin can give divine shield, and the opponent has less control over the removal of stealth.
On that note, why not give players more control over stealth? Not all classes can have Flare, the only card in the game that removes stealth. Why would you only give that to one class? Nevermore, introducing the Night Watchman, who's strength grows as he dispels darkness.
Clearly inspired by Blood Knight, it's probably overpowered, so maybe change it to 'gain +1/+1 for each stealth lost'. The point is Rogue would have a tool to make use of the stealth mechanic and other classes would have a way to use it against them as well.
Sorry, I know this isn't the fan creation forum, these were just some of my musings as I thought about the dismal state that Rogue is in right now as far as constructed is concerned.
The interesting thing about rogue is it is bad in both standard and wild. I think rogue was so reliant on blade furry, that they almost can not recover due to having no reliable board clears( vanish doesn't count). Pally has a relatively weak classic set (still better than priest?), but they have the single most reliable board clear in the game consecrate, and has the most powerful board clear when equality is combined with aoe damage. Rogue needs some kind of board clear in the next set (and sap should cost 3 mana).
Rouge always has some time to shine, then it gets less popular, then it shines again and so on... Rogue is very meta-dependant class - in some metas it's absolutely amazing, in other it's utter trash. But just like Warrior or Druid all of its main components are in basic/classic set. Therefore there is no worry Rogue once becomes Priest - it will always be somewhere around, simply waiting for more suitable meta.
You should rather worry about Paladin, Shaman and Priest, since their basic core is very limited and they basically demand new op tools every single expansion in order to stay in the game.
And why rogue can be sometimes good and sometimes bad and not always viable? if blizzard give all the classes more good cards that only 10% of the sets this things wont happen. Sure always is going to be a top class but not for that 3 classes (Rogue, paladin, and priest) have to suck.
HAVE THE REMOVAL, AoE AND WEAPONS FROM AAAALLLL THE CLASSES MOHAHAHA..
Oh Rogue mirror? Fuck you.

Dont forget the healing... another thing that rogue dont have.

And yet, Rogue is practically a god in arena. I know Blizzard's first priority is balancing constructed, but arena is still a thing, too. Which is probably why they haven't done much to boost Rogue, since it would affect arena and make Rogue even better than it already is there.
It seems like the goal for now is to make each class viable in one format, be it standard, wild, or arena, and then work on things from there.

This suggests that Rogue has individually strong cards, but do not have enough synergy to make them work on a higher level.

The 1st step towards a better game is firing Mike Donais! We had enough of his "skillful" balances!

i will be happy if they give me a weapon that's like a 1/3 with spellpower+1
edit: something like this
Rogue class is like Entomb.
Useless vs aggro, soulcrushing vs control.
Is it good design?
P. S. No fun to see your 1turn cycling thought the whole deck for cold blood or sinister.

I hope for a good Rogue Weapon

If rogue gets good cards, expect backstabbing, prep, and sap to be nerfed to shit.
The card steals you mentioned actually makes me feel like I'm playing Priest every time I play some type of Rogue that involves Burgle-ish cards.
Cheap decks are my specialty.
