I noticed Burgle Rogue often has a full hand of cards. So I give to you HAND ROGUE!!!
It's pretty fun. Brings back nostalgia of the old Handlock. Seems to works pretty well at my super low rank feel free to try and tweak at a reasonable rank.
I had Mountain Giants in the first version. They were usually playable around turn 5. Which is just a bit too slow. Later in the game there not as useful.
Twilight Drakes usually fill that spot, of needing something big to taunt up early. Arcane Gaints with Gang Up is almost always enough late game for Control.
So for those reasons Mountain Giants kinda fell out of my deck.
That makes complete sense. Unless you get a stunning opening hand you'd struggle to fill your deck by turn 5 anyway. I can see arcane giants being much better in the late game too.
Sort of off topic but just caught my attention. You mentioned that playing a giant on turn 5 is too slow. I'm generally pretty optimistic when it comes to the metagame but when an 8/8 on turn 5 is too slow, there's a bit of an issue hahaha
Edit: wanted to point out that I do agree with you, giant on turn 8 probably IS too slow
lol. That is a good point. That is why Handlock got knocked off by Renolock pre Standard. Even a turn 4 Mountain Giant, if you don't have any plays before it is too slow.
This deck can suffer from the same problem, but you have a bit more Early options then Handlock did, backstab, eviscerate, swashburgler, and the 2/2 give you a card.
You do rely a bit on getting good cards of the random effect. A lot of classes have better board clears and better heals then Rogue, so it usually works out in your favor.
I think I might need more heal? I'm not sure feels relatively tight as a list honestly

Has anyone asked you if you want to be rich?

Look, I want to tell you something because you're very dear to me. And I hope you understand that it comes from the bottom of my damaged, damaged heart. You are the finest piece of ass I've ever had and I don't care who knows it. I am so glad that I got to roam those hillsides.
Also, I don't think Sprint's really needed; in the lategame it doesn't feel like there's going to be a lot to specifically draw for, and you'll often have your hand stacked with other class cards.

I'm coming to the same conclusion. Sprint and Gadgetzan should be more card draw then I need.
Sprint top decks saving my ass is the only think keeping me from cutting it.
Though I feel like if I need both, I probably just need to tighten up my deck.
It is drifting towards more and more one-ofs for Reno. But the two-ofs: Swashburgler, Burgle, Huckster, Sunfury, Arcane Giant specifically are so important for the decks game plan, I'm not sure I could 1 of them without breaking the deck.
Arcane Giant plus Gang Up though, probably enough 0 mana Giants. lol
Fun Note: I pulled the Purify + Ancient Watcher combo twice, Bolster Synergy, Don't Try to Evolve Giants,
Gameplay notes: Good against Control. Mercilessly destroyed by Aggro. Weak to Freeze Mage but it is based on Handlock so that was always going to be true. You always want to hit Gang Up on the Arcane Giants. You usually have enough options that you can save these cards to use together.
Really good against Druid for some reason. Really bad against board floody decks for obvious reasons. You have Dark Iron, and Fan of Knives and....yah, thats not great. Real hard to win those matches, any aggro is going to take some careful play.
Card Changes
Fan of Knives: Tried removing this, ended very badly leave this card in. lol
Sprint was removed. Should have enough draw to sustain without this.
Dark Iron Dwarf was added. Rogues best Anti-agro tool. This guy is a freakin' hero!
Brann Bronzebeard was considered. There are a few real good synergies. Twilight Drake, Earthen Ring Farseer, Swashburgler, Defender, Refreshment Vender
Earthen Ring Farseer was considered. Relying on one heal is pretty scary.
Ancient Watcher Handlock had some additional ways to use these, Owls, and Shadowflame so I'm going to cut them
SI : 7 Agent This is another good Rogue tool for Aggro, which is really what still feels like often a very unfair match up
Tomb Pillager Cut this to make room for Ethereal Peddler
Ethereal Peddler Just hitting one card for minus two is better then a single coin, this card feels pretty good.
Sadly, this deck has ended up being pretty bad. I'm shutting it down. lol. If you want something kinda the same idea but most likely better, check out Kripp's Miracle Gang up Giants deck I see on Youtube today.

You have big taunt walls to beat Aggro.
You beat Control with Gang Up Arcane Giants.
Looks really interesting. Why no Mountain Giants? They ARE Handlock.

Just an observation I had.
I want to see how you progress with this deck.

Thinking you meant to say Dark Iron Skulker - and yeah, he's often MVP vs aggro.
Interesting deck you've got here.
Better to be the hammer than the anvil or the metal shaped between.
