Malygos Rogue was supposedly the god-tier deck predicted before WotOG came out. Did the nerf to blade flurry really destroy that archetype? Or is miracle just better? I know predictions can be wrong, but I was really looking forward to playing it and the lack of others playing it makes it seem like a bad choice.
What I can see for me is: yes, Blade Flury nerf breake the deck, because now you must use two sinister strike, but this card without Malygos is useless, it can't help you during the game.
I think I've seen Maly Rogue twice since WOTOG came out. I think everyone is just fixated on Miracle Rogue and you know how the Hearthstone community mostly goes with what's the most popular at that time.
Miracle can find lethal a turn or two quicker and is a little easier to play. Chessdude123 still uses it to hit high legend ranks. It's my personal favorite deck but the odds of you queing me are pretty slim and I play a lot of different decks.

miracle rogue is better vs. midrange and aggro decks.. mally is better in control mu.
I've played mill rogue consistently since hs started, and adapt it each release. if i understood how to post decklists i would, with the removal of blade fury i ended up removing all weapon aspect of the deck, and it's now a n odd zoo/mill hybrid. lack of healing really sucks too.
last season I had an easy ride from R13-R5(then just stopped playing) with malygos miracle. It's still a beast of a deck if piloted properly and I just feel more comfortable with it than standard miracle. Except this season where I'm playing firebat's questing adventurer and I'm finding it to be so OP that I wonder why I don't see more discussions about it... Someone?
Don't exactly know the decklist but i heard some people saying that it was bad, idk why tho.
Weird.. I've been thinking that it's the strongest miracle variation. I had way more options and combos and lethals out of nowhere than anything I've played before. It's the only deck that absolutely justifies double conceal and it's rarely a dead draw. I play the variation with no poison/far seer and 2xjourney instead. (more things to play so you keep the questing for a good 2-3 turn setup. I wish i had more time to test it that's why I'm looking for a conversation. But I guess the pros "know better" since they test more.. (Although I've seen a pro - i think firebrat- play it and doing systematic misplays so that's why I doubt. )
I've been playing a similar deck, but mine is closer to amnesiac's version. It's been working well on the ladder so far, though I don't play that much and so I'm only rank 9 right now. I've been playing this with one violet teacher instead of a deadly poison:
It feels very powerful and I agree with you that it is straight up superior to the version that runs farseers. Against aggro the questings either force your opponent to respond, or sometimes you can win the damage race. Against c'thun warrior you usually have to get a threat to stick a turn to get enough damage in, and a beefed up questing is a much bigger threat than a farseer.
I haven't tried the list with journey below but I usually feel I have enough cards to make my questings big and threatening.
I think the Leeroy or Malygos variants are better against control decks that aren't warrior, but you don't see as many of those right now.

Well the reason I mentioned i like journey is because you can play a situational minion you get and save your combo for a few turns so it maximizes its potential. Also I prefer it instead of the poison just because there are no far seers to mitigate the damage taken from facial trading. Give it a try and see because I can't actually have a say since I haven't tested chessdude's version at all.
I may give it a shot if I hit a wall on ladder. But for right now I don't want to change what is already working:

My magic will tear you apart!
I'm wondering what happened to Mill Rouge.

TBH I liked going against Mill and Maly Rouge a lot more than the new Miracle Rouge which I rarely seem to be able to beat.

One of the reasons is the abundance of warriors on ladder. Its near impossible to get a good burst turn with all the armor they generate.
