I'm running two in place of Cabals in my Dragon Priest and they have been stellar thus far. There are a lot of deck running Azure Drake right now and that is such a good target for Entomb in Dragon Priest. And of course Ysera, Maly, Sylvanas, and Dr. Boom.
I was thinking about it. I think it fits better in dragon priest because you have board control since the beggining of the match and then you use it against late game cards..
Is it worth to entomb a piloted shredder? Probably not... But how do you deal with those pesky T4/T6 shredders as a priest? Death lord doesn't cut it. Do you velen's chosen your northshire?
Yesterday i Entombed a Flamewaker. It was my opponent's second one and i already had dealt with Antonidas. I also Entombed a Druid's Violet Teacher on turn 5 plus the coin, not having any other kind of answer for it and the subsequent tokens. In both cases it paid off as i won that game from that point on, so i guess they were the right calls.
I once entombed a Silver Hand Recruit since it was buffed up with secrets and Blessing of Kings. It hurt when I top decked him later however I had already taken back the board and was well on my way to victory.
I like Djinnis. Light of the Naaru, Velen's Chosen, Power Word: Shield, plus it's a reasonable body on it's own. Is it the best 5-slot choice? Probably not, but I do what I want. I once put a laugh track on a sitcom with no jokes.
Entomb is like a Sap that discards your opponents card and adds a card to your deck. It's like Sap, a Third of Gang Up, and the downside of Succubus (which always discards the sapped card and then destroys itself), all for your opponent.
Yeah, i got value of Mind Vision, is good to know what your enemy have in hand, and if you use in late game your chances of get something good like Equality and others key card are hight, cause are cards that people keep in hand waiting for the perfect moment to use.

As someone who is running Midrange Paladin exclusively this month until Golden Uther (~50 more wins to go!) Entomb is a nightmare usually. Especially if you don't get off to a good start. Double Thoughtsteal, Cabal. Ughhh. Lost a few games where I answered every threat the Priest threw at me into Fatigue, but can't win that heal war usually. :(
Not saying Entomb is OP, because it's not (hardly any situational cards ever are)... but dang it's hitting me in my Pally nads right now.

if someone hasn't encountered a situation before, which admittedly looks pretty grim, and decides to leave, why is that a 'rage quit'?
if someone decides the game situation is hopeless and decides to leave, why is this a 'rage quit'?
i get the feeling you take to much credit for matters outside of your control, but whatever floats your boat...
or is 'rage quit' merely when someone else leaves?
To me, it is when someone does not just concede, but closes the program, and, presumably, walks away salty. Conceding is not rage quitting.
Example: I entomb your Dr. 7 that my Deathlord coughed out for you, then I entomb your Tirion. The situation is hopeless, but then instead of conceding, you close the program. Rage Quit. And actually, it is very much due to something in my control, as it is a control priest card in a control priest deck.

How can people get so mad at the game? haha. I've never conceded a game that I wasn't mathematically eliminated from xD (as in lethal is sitting on the board) I kind of concede the fact that Tirion will be entombed whenever I'm facing Priest now. I'll do it if I have a good board or have an answer ready in hand. It's just so tricky, I think Priest is in a decently good place because it's hard to predict what exactly a given player will be running.

Yesterday my control-priest manage to finally destroy a freeze-mage: I used my both entomb simply on Doomsayer, after i took the second Doomsayer he conceded. Priest was so in need of silence, and entomb does not only silence it, it destroys it too. Putting it into my deck is not very beneficial, but it doesn't really matter; freeze mage need board clear with Doomsayer, with Entomb we can deny it without needing to run 2x Shadow Word:Pain or a form of silence. Especially against freeze-mage Entomb is so powerful, it was the card we needed to destroy the opponent.
I really love Entomb and I hope that it revives control Priest decks. It raises the winrate against all the other control decks, especially against Warriors, and let's be honest: control Priest wins against most of the aggro decks, including secret Paladin and Zoolock. Excavated Evil makes these matchups even better, doing both: potential board clear and lowering the chance to draw something good. In most of the cases aggro decks do not want to play this card because they would also clear their side of the board and even if they play it, it costs them 5 mana to give you another AoE against them. ;)
Only OTK / Combo decks are still very hard to win (like Druid, freeze Mage etc.) Noxious has created a nice control deck with all kinds of removal.
Entomb solves many problems Priests had, especially against huge deathrattle cards. It is the perfect "removal" for Tirion Fordring, Savannah Highmane etc. Compared to other removals it is so much better. It is like Sheep + ping from the mage for the same mana cost with the extra card into the deck.
I was always a fan of control Priest and this kind of deck needed some love from Blizzard and I guess with both, Entomb and Excavated Evil, Blizzard delivered. ;)
Against aggro you cannot have enough removal and against control this deck is also very strong, as you should be able to answer every threat until the fatigue game begins. ;)
Edit: in my opinion priest control decks always had the problem that you had to decide if your deck is good against aggro OR against control, but with Entomb you can have both. :)
Yea it's pretty sweet, as a Priest enthusiast I'm loving it. Yet another reason for people to hate our kind, as if Thoughtsteal, Cabal, Shadow Madness and Mind Control weren't enough reason. Interesting side effect, Entomb has effectively made Mind Control obsolete so I think people who hate Priest can at least rest easy that they won't be seeing that card any time soon. In fact it's probably going to not see play ever again because of how the game is evolving and how bad it is to 10mana for something with no possible battlecry effect.
Don't you people have problems with fatigue and running excavated evil in entomb priest? I'm often only a few cards ahead of my opponent until fatigue begins, and excavated only makes it worse.
Also, Justicar seems meh to me if you're not running Auchenai. 4 Heal for 2 mana is decent but not as crazy as 4 Armor, while 4 dmg is really good.

nobody has a problem with running excavated evil because nobody actually runs that shit lol. Seriously that card is garbage. Symmetrical damage, no dmg to hero, gives your enemy the card to use against you, gives your enemy anti-fatigue value etc.

AND you pay 5-mana for this! :DDD

I entombed a Savannah Highmane and played it two turns later - it was great, and I normally play hunter :) (Control hunter - Yes, I have a problem.)
Mmm, processed sodium.
Anyway, here is the deck i've been rolling with:

Yeah, it is bad against aggro. Like I said, I changed a few things in the deck. Good general outline for the deck, though. Cheers.

Aren't you thinking that Entomb and Excavated Evil are too much removal?
These are two different kinds of removal, single target and AoE, so I have to answer "no" to this question.
Btw. with Noxious' deck I meant this deck:
Against aggro you cannot have enough removal and against control this deck is also very strong, as you should be able to answer every threat until the fatigue game begins. ;)
