Play is pretty simple, try to do early damage with Leper Gnome/Loot Hoarder/Voodoo Doctor, while stalling out until you can get your win conditions.
Win Condition 1: If you are playing against Control, Auchenai Soulpriest + 2x Greater Heal
Win Condition 2: If you are playing against Aggro, control the board with Holy Nova/Abomination and then Prophet Velen + 1x Mind Blast (2x if you saved coin for turn 10)
Voodoo Doctor and Earthen Ring Farseer work well to help your hero survive or deal damage once the Auchenai Soulpriest has hit the board. (I usually will never play her until I have at least 1 greater heal in my hand.. so turn 6)
Coldlight Oracle is good at keeping your opponents hand full, while helping you search for answers, and Shadowform allows you to control the board against more tempo decks.
This is obnoxious and not helpful in the slightest.
@OP follow this link http://www.hearthpwn.com/deckbuilder and build your deck, then save it. Then there will be Quick Info box to the right of the page, and you'll want to copy the BBCode (it'll say something like [deck]12340 [/deck]. If you do this then people will be able to quickly see the cards in your deck and offer insight.
I don't think there is enough sustain and the win conditions are minimal. It's going to be hard to perfect a deck like this right now. The Priest class is definitely near the bottom in terms of play ability. The problem I see if that you'll have to use your damage spells as healing spells early on which obviously means you can't play them later. Decent early game but the typical aggro deck/Rogue/Hunter will get rid of your creatures so fast and just smack you around. If someone could actually test this in game it would be better but these are my opinions for now. Good thoughts and a deck type I definitely want to try but right now it's not looking good for this class as is.
Mana wraith would definitely help out for a few turns but it's going to get smacked down real fast. The only problem with Priests I have noticed so far is that their hero power isn't incredibly useful except for in a few situations and that their strategies are minimal and mostly late game. I think you need to have a good amount of draw power and defensive creatures especially if you want to nuke them with shadowform -> greater heal combos, etc.

The following is my Shadow Priest Deck that I am still trying to perfect. I like gimick control decks and this one is a lot of fun for me...

L2 to use Deckbuilder. Come back then.
Nozdormu wins you every game where you opponent has to go to the bathroom on turn 9.
Learn the cards.

The Mana Wraith is a great idea.
