This is the best board controll effect by far. I know 30 health is the maximum, which gives warrior a huge benefit but I still like this one more for the huge board controll potential. I am looking forward to 8 health hero powers with Velen.. or maybe 16 health with this guy who let you use your hero power twice per turn.

Who can take your trash out? Stomp it down for you? Shake the plastic bag and do the twisty thingy, too?
I dunno about everyone else, but i will be playing this guy as an auto include in my priest decks, just like how i play Dr Balanced now. If you dont see the value here you need to go get your eyes checked. If you use this guy on turn 6, you get a 4 mana healbot every second turn for the rest of the game, and that's before you apply any hero power bolstering minions. I'd LOVE to see hunters try to facerush through that kind of healing, especially when you slap a few 0 mana Frost Giants on the board when they've already emptied their resources trying to deal with your healing. Auchenai, Circle of Healing and this ? Lets you take out a board of minions and Ragnaros as well, for 6 mana. Dont tell me thats not value.
Loatheb, which is played sololy for the battlecry, well it is played a lot, yet it's battlecry lasts a single turn. This last forever
Loatheb is certainly not played only for the battlecry. 5/5 for 5 mana is decent value and the battlecry is exceptional which makes it a great card overall. 6/3 for 6 is horrible value so the battlecry needs to be outstanding to make up for it. Tough to predict at this point. I would put my feeling at cautiously optimistic.
It still trades 1 for 1. If a mage disposes of this with a frostbolt, im not going to shed any tears, as it still takes away from their deck's damage potential and adds to my survivability.

Loatheb would still see play as a 0/1. It is not played for the stats, at all. The fact that 5/5 for 5 is good is irrelevant, you can argue that it makes Loatheb better overall which is true, but this is not the reason it is played.
And 6/3 for 6 isn't that bad seriously, it deals with 5/5, 6/5 stuff that is VERY common, and if it dies at least you removed that annoying Frostbolt from the opponent's hand. Honestly I like it better as a 6/3 than a 3/6. Because 3/6 can't do shit if you're ahead, 3 face damage isn't threatening, and it won't trade efficiently with the 6/5 stuff if you're behind.
However if you're behind with a 6/3, you can trade with at least one big minion, and if you're ahead this is 6 face damage.
If you're losing, 6/3 won't do shit of course, but 3/6 won't do shit either. Take a look at Gazlowe.
There's no way that Loatheb would see any play as a 0/1.
The reason why Gazlowe doesn't see play is because he has both shitty stats and an effect that requires you to build a bad deck around.
So basicly priest can heal deathlord for 4 HP every turn... and if it`s buffed with velen... Its immortal ?
Deathlord usually hits the board long before the Justicar can come out. Deathlord is there to stop early aggression, and he does that admirably even without 4 hp heals. If they can be comboed, it good though.

It's risky to use it in the same deck with deathlord i think. Because it will always be possible for it to ruin your game by calling it without its battlecry.
Dude, the whole thing about hero power meta is interesting. Dealing with cards using NO cards is ofcourse a next level value. I'm hyped for this. BUT... what blizzard seems to ignore quite often is the established meta. Look at brm. Do you see many dragon decks? I don't. Even though those are very good. I just think that forcing oponent to lose to value JUST by having tools to get value.. is not enough. You lose tempo with every hero power early on. Tempo for now is waaaay more important than value, that's why I'm sceptical about this card on its own. But I sure hope that it will be in combination with other cards a brand new win condition! Don't take my critical thinking personaly, dude..
The problem about BRM is the missing synergy. Because Blizzard mixed non-dragons with dragons and this does not went well. Also the lack of neutral cards in BRM is another reason for it. While Naxx had a lot of neutrals, BRM hasn't.
If all cards in BRM were around dragons and synergy and if blizzard decided to make only 1 class card and the rest neutrals, it would have been better. Dragons simply lack of Synergy. Dealing 3 damage and getting +1/+1 with a card (and killing a legendary) is not enough! Blizzard only needs to add more dragons and synergy, then it could finally work.

Insane value for games going to fatigue

Nothing will happen that way, this will not effect shadowdorm

I play both of those cards actually and have a lot of fun with them
Let me change your mind...
