do you guys honestly believe that a mediocre ability is worth playing a 6/3 for 6 mana?also, you will only even take advantage of said mediocre ability if he actually lives a turn, which is just not going to happen because it's fucking turn 6 and it has 3 health.whoever thinks people will actually run this instead of sylvanas or thaurissan is delusional.

I dunno it's ok...Falls in the middle....I think Druid and Mage benefit from this a lot more. Priest probably 3rd or 4th
Warrior is #1, there is no doubt about that, but others r fine, it will be a tech card for sure, priest is probably #2, onlyone i can see this being totaly and absolutely useless for is rogue, WL can use this in some non-giant control deck, but doubt it will make an appearance that much, since u will be replacing your hero power with jaraxxus anyway and wasting 6 mana (and one turn) to not take dmg for couple turns aint worth it there. All other classes r very ok with the upgraid, but not autoinclude.
priest has been looking for a good legend to play sure they can throw dr. boom or sylvannas and prophet velen and vol gin are only ok. Priest has found what it's been looking for to be top tier.

i didn't notice that, but even with the effect being persistent i still don't think people will play it.
think about it,how often do you see priests playing shadowform or hunters playing steamweedle sniper?and the thing is both of those cards are early game cards and people still don't use them.if they won't use a card that buffs your hero power in the early game(where it is more often than not at it's strongest),what makes you think people will play them on turn 6?

The advantage of this card over shadowform is that it still gives you a body that has to be dealt with in some way so you don't lose the same tempo that shadowform loses you.

And its turn 6, belcher turn 5 anyone to squeeze some more value of it ? and it trades with any other 6 drop as well (AFAIK)

sure because dealing 3 damage on turn 6 isn't something every single deck on hearthstone can do easily or anything.
and i think you are overlooking the fact that this is the 6 mana slot.the competition for this slot in your deck is already quite ridiculous without the expansion coming out,and i doubt people would even think about removing say, sylvanas, from a priest deck for this card.
It's 4 damage, not 3. Also don't forget the new minion that allows you to use your Hero Power twice. Yes, the stats are meh, but the effect is insane. Also a 6/3 trade in the worst case with almost everything between 3-6 mana. Also for priests it's easy to buff her health if necessary.
Also allow to heal for 4 health in the lategame can be very insane; especially at 10 mana you can almost use it on every turn, and this can occur in insane healing effects.
4 healing or 4 damage with auchenai, and that maybe even 2 times can be a big difference. Still it is not enough against facehunter, because normally you are already dead on turn 6 if you put her on board, so we need more.

Shadowform doesn't provide a body along with it's effect. If it did, we'd see it considerably more than we currently do. Steamwheedle Sniper's effect isn't permanent. These are extremely poor comparisons to try to justify your opinion as to why this card is bad.
I personally think this card is pretty good. Is it great? Ehhh....I'm not gonna go that far just yet. But I feel that this card has some serious potential and I could probably fit into my current Priest decks without too much issue, even without other synergies.
However, I feel this card is one of those that is much more powerful than we can currently ascertain. The synergies are going to be crazy. The introduction of the new Inspire mechanic and decks built around using the hero power as much as possible, this card's potential is through the roof. Changing the hero power so we can heal for 4 for 2 mana, I feel that will give priests more influence over the board than any other class, especially late game when we can rely on our minions having 5 or more health. Honestly, even the 2 hp heal can be clutch at any point in the game.
Will this card be the next Dr. Boom? I doubt it. Will he be an auto-include in every priest deck out there? I doubt it. But is he bad? Hell no.

it's true that sniper's effect is not permanent, but at least he has a decent body for it's mana cost.a 6/3 played on turn 6 essentially possesses battlecry:die on your opponent's turn to any source of removal he has.it's true that shadowform not providing any sort of body is quite a huge tempo loss on turn 3,buti'm not so sure if playing such a mediocre minion and getting a (in my opinion) slightly worse hero power than mind spike for 6 mana isn't just as bad.
maybe,MAYBE the card will fit into some niche emperor velen or auchenai decks, but he is very far from being the next best thing in priest decks(or anywhere else really) that people are making him out to be.
First off. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let this card affect Shadowform! Second; Can you please revisit Shadowform? Either make the cost of the card 2-mana, or give the option for the class to switch back and forth between their original ability and Shadowformability please!
The card as it is now is Pay 5 mana (3+2) for 2 damage.
Unfortunately, it's been confirmed on twitter by one of the people on the dev team that Trueheart will only affect the 9 standard hero powers. That means that shadowform will be unaffected like Lord Jaxx and Rag.
Coming in at 3 health I think this card fits best in priest as a body over any other because of how easily we can boost its health. That said 4 healing for 2 mana is awesome. I cant wait to try some soul priest and velen cheese ^_^ I also cant wait for unkillable Acolyte of Pain thats buffed with velen's chosen
I'm guessing at least for the first half of your question, that it will go back down to 2 damage. Currently Shadowform just replaces the old hero power as seen in a few games versus Priest with Nefarian.
There was a time that Priest was the top dog class in the game. He's certainly fallen out of favor recently but the introduction of new cards always has the potential to shake things up in unforeseen says. While I personally don't buy into the hype that this particular card will be the saving grace for priests, you don't know that nothing will change for the Priest in this xpac. Nobody does.

Its easy, the text says "original hero Power." NOt upgrade current heroe card.
Hit a guy, heal a guy, draw a guy, play a guy. The Dream
Just lol. Even if you give Priest this hero power as a basic one, nothing will change for him. Your hype, guys, is as naive as usualy.
"The light shall burn you!" - heals face.

6 mana 6/3 is a bad body, I consider this card to be even more tempo loss than Shadowform. But it may be a way to bring you out of Shadowform.
quite some cool combos could be pulled of here
