Hey guys, just passing by to say some thoughts about the initial Ressurect playtesting, its been doing pretty well. Its very strong when drawn early in the game, and even more whenever you get your opponent to kill Blademaster, just so you can get a 4/7 for 2 mana the turn after.
I also realized the dream of T3 Blademaster, T4 double ressurect too.
Yes, it's awesome! I just saw it in action on Amaz stream right now. You can pretty much ignore any other early drop. If you have the combo, why play a Zombie Chow/Cleric/Cultist? Just throw your Blademaster as an offering, haha.
It's not bad, it defiantly changes the way we play when we include it in our decks.
Almost everyone is playing Win by turn 5 Warlock/Hunter so it's not the best enviroment to test out resurrect. When it doesnt give back a 1/2 slime or Lightwarden is a happy day. One game got Emperor Thaur back.

basically everyone plays rogue now. i faced like 8 in a row just now
Here is my list...I debated hard leaving in the Shrinkmeisters and Light Of The Naaru's but in the end I took them out for Emperor and Ressurects. Haven't had a chance to play the deck too much yet and I am only at Rank 20 ATM.
Takes a little forethought to get these kinds of things accomplished but yes. It is a really good early game card where you can mostly control the outcome. Once you get mid to late game you end up pretty much counting on RNG. I got some pretty terrible late game stuff out of it. But I did get an Emperor Tharuissian and I have had the dream a couple of times (Blade Master, Cleric, PW: S in my opening hand with coin = turn 2 Blade Master, turn 3 Resurrect/ PW:S). Thanks to Resurrect I have won some games.
Then I have the game against a Warlock who opens with double Voidcaller and gets Mal'Ganis + Jaraxxus, so crappy...But still...

This is a solid deck actually the only change I made to it was taking out vol'jin and put in lightbomb. Lightbomb is good if you lose control of the board and I don't ever want vol'jin getting res back as a 6/2.

got to RO8 (top 8) of ESL using this deck in my comp.
it won 8 out of 9 round games I played with it, only loss being to a handlock (and I believe it was due to my own missplay, and I dont even run 2x Deaths which was probably a mistake for a tournament).
Other decks in my comp were Druid (which won all games I played with) and Shaman (probably my mistake to bring this to the tournament, since it actually lost me the tournament in the last round vs a Face Hunter and probably the reason why I 3-1'd the most).
Waiting for Fireguard Destroyer so I (hopefully) can Shaman more on tournaments.
Here is the list I am running with a surprising amount of success. I really like Res.
SW:P replaced the traditional Pyromancer because Pyromancer does not give enough value with Res. SW:P also better deals with some of the higher health minions which are being used in Mech mage, Warrior, Rogue, etc.
This is a meta call really. Smite works great to shore up the early game control and also as an execute when used with Vol'jin. SW:D works better vs control decks.

Not sure if hyped yet.

Resurrection is a pretty strong card, built a tempo deck for it.

No changes to the list, my good sir!

maybe its a better unstable portal eh?

For anyone curious, a Preist Murloc deck with Resurrection is crazy fun!
But it's also terrible. Seriously, don't even attempt the ladder with that junk.
Building Quirky Decks Every Week, Loving Life at Rank 15!
After playtesting, I found it to be a one-of card. There's a already a lot of enablers for blademaster early turn and not really reliable end game.
I love scrubs
its a 2 mana spell, its 300000 more reliable late game than Holy Smite

Hi Nuba would you mind giving us a quick mulligan guide? Thanks
Nuba I think it's a mistake not to include at least 1 copy of Smite. Voljin becomes a 1:1 trade at best without it
Bad players whine.
Good players adapt.
And here's my dream, when I get no blade masters.
Works well against aggro, with no weapons, when there is enemy minion with total less than 7 damage.
Turn 2: doomsayer
turn 3: doomsayer
turn 4: ress + heal
turn 5: Ress + heal
turn 6: let the game begin.

Holy Smite Vs Shadow Word: Death
What do you think about a deck with Doomsayer and Resurrect?
One game I got Emperor back from 2 res
