Well, I'm currently rank 6 (my best was 5) and since 70% of the decks I face are aggro warlocks I made this deck to try to counter it. It turned out to be working very well not only against warlocks, but against ultra late game druids that have similar cards.
I've put a lot of cards that can control the game early game (SW:P, Holy Smite, WIld Pyro..) and can also provide some threat (Light Warden, Northshire Cleric). If you manage to control the board till turn 4 you most likely will win.
From turn 4 to turn 6, I keep playing defensively removing the threats with Sylvanas, Black Knight, Auchenai Soulpriest, Abomination, Holy Nova and the wonderful Shadow Madness (considering to add another one) I usually save SW:D for real threats late game like Ragnaros and Giants.
From turn 7 on It's the Priest's finest hour, and you can use Holy Fire to kill the big boys maintaining your hero's life above 20. If you're facing a Druid he most likely will start throwing big legendaries like ragnaros and Ysera. I've put only one Mind Control in the deck for this kind of situation, altough I don't like it pos-nerf very much. I keep adding and removing Ysera, for sometimes I think the deck lacks some late game power.. but sometime Ysera is just a dead card in my hand.
What you guys think? Feel free to make critics/suggestions to improve this deck :)
I know it's kinda expensive, but other cards you can use are: Twilight Drake,Spellbraker, Azure Drake, Argent Commander, Abomination, Chilwind Yeti.. those are all solid.
I run a deck extremely similar to this, except in place of pyro i run 2 earthen farseers which can work like SI:7s if auchenai is on the board. Mind control is too expensive now to run, but thats personal preference.
I've included youthful brewmasters in the deck because they just give you so many more options. You can pull out a soulpriest after it uses it's circle of healing wipe so you can heal yourself and save it from dying. You can nuke or heal with earthen farseers and brewmaster them back for another go. My favorite is brewmastering novices.
It is definately a very fun deck that gives you a lot of opportunity to play creatively. Like using wild pyro to damage the entire board, then using circle of healing with a cleric to fill your hand with cards. You have to be careful with that combo because you can easily overdraw. :P
Nice variations, I'd like to agree that the this deck is, indeed, very versatile and fun to play, and as the meta tends to slow the pace a bit, it might get into competitive play. To win with this deck tho, you have to think a lot more than when using, for exemple, an aggro deck.
@Wargasmbrandom Nice idea to put the Youthful Brewmaster, I'll definetely give it a try. Regarding SW:P, I prefer using holy smite to early control, especially combined with WIld Pyro.
@Kensanity I've tried a similar deck to yours, focusin Ancient Watchers and lots of taunts. I tend to like more the Auchenai's kind of control, and the possibilities it opens.
Keep ysera. One of the best priest finishers for sure. honestly, i dont have that big of an issue vs aggro, rogue or murlock decks. its the paladin control decks or other control decks that really cause issues.
While I do have another Doomsayer I don't think the deck needs much more removal than it already has , it may need less and more of something else. If so what do you think this deck could use more of.
I much prefer Ysera to Ragnaros atm. EVERYONE seems like they're running big game hunter and Ysera seems to always get at least two turns before it's taken out. I still like using sylvanas to bait out the Tinkmaster Overspark first.
Still testing through so far while it has great early game control , it seems to be lacking the muscle to go for the kill fast enough. I might consider adding malygos or ysera and some beserkers , though I need to still work out what needs to be removed.
What worked well for me with priests is letting my opponent bring the lategame to the board, and just copy it with faceless manipulators. If they don't have a lategame in their deck, it doesn't fill your hand as bad as an 8 mana drop, and you just copy your own minions or their chargers.
Another way would be a somewhat rushy lategame: Malygos or Velen + Mindblasts/Holy Fire Just try to survive, forcing hardremovals, then nuke fast. Doesn't work as good as it sounds, though :/

What people think about Cabal Shadow Priest in their decks? Looks like good card to me and thinking of crafting it but i'd like to get some opinions on the card before spending the dust.
Currently have 1 , use to have 2 ; great for certain situations , relatively useless otherwise. That's the summary of my experiences with Cabal Shadow Priest. I'd consider crafting Mindgames instead of Cabal Shadow Priest if you don't already have it.

great deck, unfortunately it's SUPER expensive so I can't run it as I only have Velen
I actually swapped 2x Abomination and 2x SW:P for 2x Injured Blademaster and 2x Circle of Healing, so the new deck should be looking like that:
I know it's kinda expensive, but other cards you can use are: Twilight Drake,Spellbraker, Azure Drake, Argent Commander, Abomination, Chilwind Yeti.. those are all solid.

@HowL418
As I enter deeper on rank 5, I get to encounter more and more druids.. that's why I prefer to keep at least one Mind Control
@Fedaya
Do you find the Spellbrakers useful? Or do you use only to silence the Ancient Watchers?
This looks very, very like the deck I have been trying to fine tune all day today. Here is what I made:
I've included youthful brewmasters in the deck because they just give you so many more options. Cool thread. Here is my list that i made today. I've been doing very well with it. I'm only rank 8 however.
I have a lot of silences and taunts to get ancient watcher online. Deck is really fun to play :)
I'm concerned about my end game cards. Wondering if i should run ysera.

Is anyone actually having luck with these decks? I keep getting brutalized!
I switched to druid to get to my rag/ysera end game now.
thing are fun until you reach rank 6/5.. then it's tryhards everywhere with rogue/warlock rushs
@Mokkal
I'd remove Ysera (it's almost everygame a dead card in my hand) and Molten Giant (the card is OK, but doens't quite fits to this deck)
Also, I think Lightwardens are better early game than SW:P, but thats my view.. many people like SW:P
Keep ysera. One of the best priest finishers for sure. honestly, i dont have that big of an issue vs aggro, rogue or murlock decks. its the paladin control decks or other control decks that really cause issues.
@Mokkal remove the 2x SW:P imo
Lack of Ancient Watchers is disturbing.
The problem with Ancient Watchers is that they doesn't work alone.. You need to add Sunfuries or at least some silences to make them usefull..
I do not have most of the legendary cards in this deck , but I am about to try this version , what are your thoughts on it.
While I do have another Doomsayer I don't think the deck needs much more removal than it already has , it may need less and more of something else. If so what do you think this deck could use more of.
