i agree on the 2 drop. but everyone forgot Shadowboxer... his 2/3 body is decent and his effect is... kind of a worse version of Knife Juggler.
i would love to see a neutral "injured" minion like Injured Blademaster. but that again would make this 2 drop pretty combo dependent... but i just love to have injured minions^^
/edit: btw, the first card i ever crafted was Sunfury Protector because i wanted a "decent" 2 drop, that scales well into lategame... if you have no hardremoval in hand a taunted up Gurubashi Berserker is pretty scary ^-^ but i've decided to run Unstable Ghoul... this guy is just way stronger.
I had this idea for a Priest 2 drop: see attachment.
Its a strong body on turn 2 and provides a guaranteed healing target on turn 3, but you have to keep healing it after that or it dies easily.
maybe at 1 attack, or 4 health + 2 damage per turn
At 4 health + 2 damage each turn, it's dead by the time your turn starts lol :p
Maybe there is some confusion on the damaging properties here. I worded it exactly as Micro Machine is worded. Meaning at the end of EACH turn, it takes 1 damage. So it does take 2 damage by the time your turn starts again
Thoughtseer actually isn't that bad. Mind Vision /w a 2/3 body for 3 mana actually equals out.
Not sure about Fade. It would be amazing vs classes that use burst damage to finish off their opponent, and maybe vs aggro decks, though I think it would be to slow against that.

So I play it turn 2, it takes a minimum of 2 damage by my next turn (opponent didn't use spells on it), then turn 3 I heal it up to 5, attack my opponents 3/2 drop... and by my next turn it dies leaving me with an empty board?
might as well make it untargetable by spells and hero powers, other wise it is useless in priest... Though I suppose either instance wouldn't be great for priest.
Doesn't do much against minions like Unstable Ghoul or Annoy-o-Tron. But will survive killing a 3/2 minion and when buffed with Power Word: Shield, becomes able to take quite a bit of damage.

Well, a 3/2 minion will still do 2 damage to is, but it is definitely more balanced. Only problem is it is starting to get into the combo part of hearthstone, so it probably wouldn't see much play in competitive play.

Not reduced by 1, reduced to 1. So each time a source does damage to it, it only does 1 damage. Even Holy Fire would do 1 damage, not 5. Though may be a little OP if mixed with Velen's Chosen perhaps.

Why not make it a 2/3 body that reduces damage taken by 1? It survives a 3/2 minion, and becomes a prime heal target turn 3. Just like you wanted. That might actually be a really good card.

Partially because I still wanted it to take 1 damage from single damage effects, like Wild Pyromancer but wanted it to survive from large damage affects. I'm basing it off the Priest ability in Wow called Dispersion, where it reduces all damage by 90%.

wow thoughtseer is a sweet and balanced card i luv it. fade seems kind of pointless when we are talking about priest though
I think they are both pretty cool ideas...blizzard should take some notes.

How about a 4/4 for 3 battlecry restore 3 health to an enemy (or give an enemy minion +3 health)

I suppose turn 3, heal an enemy minion wouldn't be too bad, but turn 3 give your opponents minion +3 health is just handing them the board.
Priest need a 2 mana 2/3 Minion with Hexproof.
Hexproof from Magic is: "Can't be targeted by enemy spells and abilities."
OP effect on a mediocre minion... Might as well play faerie dragon.
What about:
Dispersed Dragon: 2 Mana
2/2
All damage this minion takes is reduced to 1.

A perfect target for buffs like Velens Chosen. No OP because of its 2/3 body. Seems perfect to me.

I managed to get an exclusive preview of the new Priest BRM card so here you go:
