bloodmoth you know something that we dont? are priests cards going to be revealed soon and be OP or something? cause i havent seen a thread like this for the other classes
What priests need is a solid 2-drop. They have chow and cleric on 1, and their 3/4 on 3, but they don't have anything that good on 2, and there's nothing more painful than playing priest and just having to completely skip your turn 2 because your hero power doesn't do anything.

Yeah no inside information sadly, just opening a discussion thread like I did with GvG. Class sticky will have to be updated as well as it currently reflects my view on the cards on GvG release, things have changed since then. Just eager to update the forum I guess, the wait is killing me xD.

Yeah, my own dream is a solid dragon 2 drop. Something like 2 mana 2/3 dragon, battlecry: gain 1 health for each dragon in your hand. Might be a 2/2 as well, depending on how many dragons Blizzard is planning to release.
It's only a 3/3 by the time it gets back to you are you are foced to heal it on 3 or it dies to 1 damage. If you want to play a Cultist on 3 the Wounded Dragon basically dies for free. A turn 3 Cleric + heal target is really needed for Priest imo.
Shrinkmeister is a pseudo-2 drop. Much like Wild Pyromancer. We need a 2 drop that can be dropped turn 2 without guilt.
This point exactly ...In the technical sense they are 2 drops but you really shouldn't be dropping these cards on turn 2. If anything I would rather drop Gilblin Stalker on turn 2 a 2/3 stealth body that you can cast velen's chosen on and spring him on the first 4 drop made by you're opponent

I forgot about Lightwell too. I can understand priest need a strong 2 drop, but I just can't see blizzard making the same mana drop cards for a class. Hopefully they prove me wrong, because I like playing priest.

By the time it gets back to you it has already done its job. That is, being a 3/4 for 2 and trading with everything that costs 1 or 2 on your opponent's turn. On your turn, 3/3 is still fine and you can still heal it and trade, with a card draw too if you have northshire. It is too powerful.
It's not a 3/4, its a 3/3. It dies to any 3/2s or common 3 damage removal. Or your opponent can choose to roll the dice and let it live because unless silenced, the Priest is forced to let it die eventually or fall too far behind in tempo from hero powering every turn.
Thread reserved for discussion on the new Priest cards introduced with Blackrock Mountain adventure (if Blizzard ever spoils them).
Feel free to speculate or talk about what you want to see in BRM until the actual cards are actually revealed!
EDIT: Revealed!

The priest needs some early game help hopefully blizzard doesnt fail us...
Shadowboxer and Shrinkmeister, I doubt priest gets another 2 drop minion.

I had this idea for a Priest 2 drop: see attachment.
Its a strong body on turn 2 and provides a guaranteed healing target on turn 3, but you have to keep healing it after that or it dies easily.
I would easily play this at 3 mana, as being wounded is an upside rather than a downside because of the early synergy with Northshire Cleric.
EDIT: Too OP basically as the guy below me says xD.
that card is OP as hell xD

That is insanely OP!
I am thinking a Darkbomb or Shadow Bolt equivalent.
An inverse Auchenai Soulpriest would be hilarious too (i.e. Your cards and powers that deal damage now restore health instead).
And when both are on field the universe collapses? :P
