For me, the problem isn't so much the power level of the deck as it is the fact that it drags games on for 30-40 minutes at a time. If you want to climb ladder effectively you really need to do it with some sort of tempo deck that looks to win the game somewhere between turn 5 and turn 9. That way, win or lose, your games are over within 5-7 minutes and you can play the 200+ games you need to get to legend. Running into this cancer on the ladder is so maddening because, from a time investment standpoint, I'm often better off taking the L instantly than spending 40 minutes earning a W.
My strategy is to just try and rush them down before turn 9. If they manage to pop off a mass rez and I can't burn them over the top I just concede and move on because my odds of winning drop to almost nothing at that point anyway so there's no point continuing to fight.
And I hate facing DHs cheating victories through broken cards. I also hate facing Casino Mages and specifically Reno / Puzzlebox. Losing a game due to massive RNG-swings sucks the fun out of the game for me.

every control deck does that. you want to kill them fast, they try to avoid that. rez priest is nothing special

A lot of decks in the meta can't do that mainly just demon hunter and murloc paladin and maybe aggro warlocks and hunters
Nope. I quit the game because of this specific deck.
Not even because of the class in general. I don't mind Galakrond Priest, and I WISH Blizzard would make it so the class could legitimately run buffs in their deck (seriously morons.. Give them card draw).
The deck purely isn't fun to play against. But unfortunately, it's been in the top 5 of popularity for a long time. So Blizzard's greed filled response is "the deck is making us money, so we want to keep it".
They need to rework the res mechanic. It's so fucking awful. The meta would legitimately be really fun if it wasn't for this fucking boring deck plaguing the ladder with its 30 minute games.
yep. exactly. these games take waaaaaaaaaaaay too long. on the other hand, facing face hunter also isn't really "playing" the game. It's just receiving 5+ damage each turn until you hear "well played" with that arrogant voice.
Why the fuck are people allowed to complain about some bullshit in hearthstone without getting locked by the moderators and to shut the fuck up and post in the salt thread? But when it's about priest everyone turns a blind eye. Its bullshit.
I hate the philosophy of the priest and any such archetype, it is too unfair that it has more eliminations, endless healings, summon a copy, etc. It's stupid that this whole class played the same way years ago, Blizzard stops giving priest the same mechanics. It is much worse than Demon Hunter.
Nearly everyone hates play against this class. But there are some others which take the hole turn and causing extrem long games. Questmage f.e. when he starts his flamewaker turn, kaelthas spelldruid or this stupid Shudderwock shaman.. so annoying. And it is just not respriest, pew-pew priest is also totaly annoying. Games where your opponent is like playing 100 cards in one turn are just so boring. And now there is yogg back there will be more. They should never renerfed this stupid card.
Blizzard should notice already that res mechanic is unfun and unhealthy for game and feels like shit to play against that kind of decks,or well if someone enjoy going through 5+ khartuts or infiltrators every game, good for him .

Man, I speak as a Mage player (played tons of decks since KOFT), RNG is for everybody, and every game is different beacuse of that.
RNG is for you if Box or Reno kills me
RNG is for me if Box or Reno kills you
So I disagree with you, because you're putting Rez Priest in the same level of Mages... Mage is not that cancerous like that Anduin :)

How DH cheat? Yeah he have good cards (not many broken ones now what is totally ok) but how he cheat?
And if you dont like RNG you should hate Priest much more then DH for exaple. Almost all DH cards do what they say they will, almost zero RNG (maybe accept skull, but its not really RNG).
If you hate rez priest tech in that 3/9 taunt that summons random 1 drops. Make sure to be packing something like consecration that usually takes care of the board because otherwise youll be feeding token decks.
Youll find the games against them more fun to play, and if you don't you don't get to complain and be taken seriously.
You dont have to play every netdeck exact... You are allowed to make independent decisions...
It's an interesting spot. Card games like Hearthstone (and Magic, and many others that have an aggro/midrange/control/combo bunch of decks) need decks similar to Rez priest - that get huge value in the lategame, to punish decks that allow them to get there (ie. that aren't fast enough themselves). It's one of the reasons hyper aggro/face decks are so important, despite how obnoxious they can be - you need decks that can take down a greedy/value deck like rez priest as fast as possible before it can get online - and similarly, rez priests need to be less greedy than they might otherwise to try and survive against such decks, until they can go online. That means including something like Bone Wraith that they might not otherwise, but that also means a higher chance of living until Mass Res goes off.
Of course, for a healthy metagame things have to be carefully balanced. If you want to have a greedier deck that can punish control, you need to make sure the aggro decks aren't so violent that they shove the greedy deck out of the meta entirely. Similarly, if you want to have any control decks, you have to make sure that the greedier deck isn't too good against aggro, or else it doesn't have enough counters and likely has too high a winrate against the field. As far as I can see wild rez priest isn't a tier deck right now, but that idea (of being too good against early game decks) is a reason it can feel obnoxious to play against them if you aren't playing a strong enough/tier deck yourself - wild priest has soooo many potential answers they can include, to easily allow them to get to their huge number of rez cards and awesome targets for them.
All this is to say that, while it can be obnoxious at time, greedier decks like rez priest - that can roll very high in some cases - are actually an important part of the checks and balances of the metagame. But of course, the checks and balances need to be carefully checked and balanced themselves.
I hate priest too. Most often concede depending on my mood. I don’t find the deck as over powered but it’s boring to play against and annoying dealing with multiple of the same minion. Resurrect priest should have been done and ended years ago it’s old as fuck. Would rather deal with their priest than constantly resurrecting.

same here
if they could fix the ridiculous card generation be it in priest rogue or to some degree mage then the game would be fine.
