rez priest is the worst thing I can think of to lose against. It is boring as fuck, frustrating and feels inevitable.
Long you say. Play Rogue and you will understand what is long. They plays dozens of cards per turn and they rope nearly every turn. Talk about boring and annoying. Also Priest is a style of play...you don't like it, too bad for your cause others do, so respect their choices like they respect yours. Concede move on and mind your own games...don't try to impose to other players other ways of playing that suit you, They want to play Rez priest ok?

But it's don't worry I understand, you got owned so many times by res priest that your head is spinning. It's hilarious when you say they others were articulate and reasoned in their post. So I guess, at your level, your response to my post is qualified as articulate and reasoned as well? Guess you did not even grasp the irony of all this. Those who uses insults as response are usually those who have no arguments at all. My advice, cool down, get somebody to change your diapers and take your pills..you'll feel better.
Res priest has pretty much ruined wild for me. It’s astounding to think it’s also still around in standard. The only thing that Blizzard has ever done is give us a Barnes nerf. A BARNES nerf. He was unfair outside of res priest too but god the nerf did little to nothing the deck.
as I said it’s pretty much ruined the wild experience for me. I see people give the same response over and over: just dilute the res pool. This is not something that is easy or consistent to do. There are several tools available such as transformations or minions that spawn guys for your opponent, but it’s very difficult to have teched in more than one or two of these without significantly hurting your deck against other matchups.
Against aggro, it’s so nasty to play something that gives minions to your opponent. I will also reiterate that just because you have 1-2 cards teched it’s not a guarantee to have them played before turn 6-8. I’ve found in a lot of cases if you can’t get it down early its already too late. Especially if Vargoth goes down early for them.
The deck is so fucking broken in either wild or standard. Vargoth is so problematic and not just in priest either. I’m not sure who designed him but they need to be fired. I think it’s in competition to be one of the most unbalanced cards the game has ever seen. It’s disgusting when it comes back and then all of a sudden the opponent gets 7 minions from a single res card.
jts really sucked the life out of wild for me. I used to love wild but I see many of these every time I play. I don’t really play the top tier decks or aggro , and I like to have fun and play with cards that are underutilized. I don’t play “meme decks” that usually have atrocious win rates, but’s it’s still defeating when you feel helpless. Usually I just concede now because the game will drag on forever and I know I’m just going to rage

Because certain people on here would rather bury their heads in the sand rather than acknowledge that there is a problem. I can understand if someone goes on a big tirade full of obscenities, but even if you just make a post without that you’ll get the same responses
i can break it down. Here are the responses you will get
1. You are angry please go to the salt thread. This simply dismisses and ignores any lending are concern or argument you try to make.
2. Your deck is bad and/or you haven’t teched correctly. A pretty condescending statement and they claim that your deck is bad whether or not they know what you are playing or what’s in your deck: Tech cards are often hard to included and it’s not a given that you win just because you play it. You’ll also hear about “meme decks” which has no given criteria and is another dismissive response.
3. Res priest is not popular or high tier therefore it’s not a problem. Except that Res priest is still fairly common in wild or standard. In wild, the deck is ridiculously oppressive to a lot of different cards of fun ways to plays regardless of it not being “top tier”.

Generally its, "if you dont agree with my unrelated statement, you are racist/sexist/homophobic" but it's made it's way to Hearthstone... "if you play (deck I don't like) you are a (terrible flaw of character)

Highlander priest and dragon priests are just fine. They play as priest is supposed to play and it's pretty fun to face.
Ress priest however is not. It's not that the deck is way too strong. It's just obnoxious as all hell to play against. I play this game to have fun and that's not 30 min of fun in my opinion. Ressing minions is fine, within reason. Ress priest is not reasonable.
The thing about priest class, and specially res priest, is that when they are having fun, no other classses do.
I can win against Resurrection Priest with Pure Paladin, but it is a big pain in the ass. Libram of Justice helps a lot as well as running 2x Subdue, Aldor Peacekeeper. Air Raid helps dilute the targets for Taunt that kills a random minion.
Priests are garbage against the two main decks I play right now, and I love it.
The "good" deck that I ladder with is the secret Galakrond rogue. It eats priests.
The "fun" one that I play in casual is a dragon highlander shaman, and it destroys priests even more efficiently than the rogue deck does.
Priests are one of my least favorite classes, and one of the only ones that have an insta-dust rule for any and all cards I get for the class. I despise it, and it absolutely tickles my balls that I can destroy them again and again and again in this meta.
People also don't understand tech cards and when to run. Some tech cards are just unplayable and super punishing, even if there's a problem deck on ladder. Tech cards need to have general usefulness, in addition to their hard counter.
E.g. Ironbeak Owl is run when certain deck lists run important silence targets, like when Carnivorous Cube existed. But it still has great general usage vs every other deathrattle.
MCT was great for countering big decks to stop them from over extending their board, and limiting their minions. But it was still good as a 3 drop for a 3/3 steal a minion. Even if you only get a 2/2.
But when Blizz prints cards like the shitty armor destroyer, and the Res Priest counters, the cards are useless in literally EVERY situation other than countering singular decks. The dead draw ruins you vs aggro, especially in a class without much card draw.
show stats to back that up. a lot of people say, there is a problem with the deck. so there must be stats how much people play it and how the winrate is. you don't like to play against it, we get it. but that does't mean, there is a problem with the deck. the only thing we hear is: yada yada yada, me don't like the deck, me post at hearthpwn
It's all about context... This is a discussion about a class.
The ones that get locked are usually people crying, and then when someone offers criticism, they reply "no you're stupid!! Nothing will change my mind" and proceed to plug their ears, and scream/cry in a 4 year old tantrum fashion.
If the purpose of your post is to generate discussion, where both sides offer input, listen, and debate opposing ideas, then it's valuable to the community.
If someone creates a thread to whine about a post, and only wants replies from people that echo their own opinion, it should be locked.

The only one who hates facing priest? There are about ten threads posted every single day saying the same exact thing. I seriously wish people would just shut up about it, we get it, rez priest is annoying.
Stop bitching about priest guys, Team 5 already cracked the code: so long as Rogue is among the three best classes, priest will never be a problem. Tired of priests? PLAY ROGUE.
Its normal If people only play agroo , you can beat priest but stop playing agroo.
It needs to exist good decks vs agroo meta, for the health of the Game
As I play wild I can say that it is really annoying play against priest. It just feels unfair if your opponent brings back his destroy a minion taunts every turn and somethimes dopple them. I played this deck by myself for a daily and I had 5 or 6 Convincing Infiltrators on board and still enough on hand to bring them back for several turns. I felt so sorry for my opponent and never played that deck again after doing my daily. A Nerf would be good, that they couldn´t res this special taunt or at least just one time. Would be also ok. I just can speak for wild mode, as I didn´t play standard for 2-3 month.
