I play against many of them and they don't play it at all even if you didn't attack with your minions on THE FIRST FOUR/FIVE TURNS. It's SO weird to me. I just played against someone who insisted on not playing his quest until he overdrew a card("Archmage Vargoth") Although I had minions on board and I didn't attack. Are they so stupid to realize that their opponents know that they're running the quest that's why their opponents don't attack???? I really wish if there was an emote to tell them that I know they have the quest in their hand lol
99.99999% of priest players are playing that "quest resurrect" deck and they keep the left card in their starting hand. (that's how i know that my opponent is running that deck). They act like "quest priest" is a big surprise for people on ladder
PS: I play with malygos rogue deck and priest is by far my easiest match-up. My question is, Why don't they play their quest even when they realize that their opponent knows they have it(their opponent didn't attack)
They want their opponent to attack their face so they can get quest progress. A lot of times if they play quest turn 1, opponents will fill their own board and not attack. Most of the time quest priests aren't playing anything turns 1-4 besides removal if necessary so it's not like they are wasting vital mana holding it in their hand anyway. I mean it's usually obvious now, but that is really the only answer i believe.
As I said in my post. they don't play the quest even if their opponent did NOT attack with his minions on the first 4/5 turns. I just find it weird. If I was a priest player and I found my opponent didn't attack, I would realize that he knows of my quest in my hand so I would play it afterwards.

well if you can't get any healing at all then what's the point of playing the quest anyways? I wouldn't go as far as letting myself mill a card like the dude did on your game but I wouldn't play it either. Also don't you think that if you're playing minions every turn and not attacking just to simply not give them 2 healing each turn you're simply helping the priest? I would get it if you have 2 or less damage but if you're a proactive deck and have done nothing on the first 5 turns then you're helping the priest heavily my dude.

From my view, he just perfectly baited you to not attack him just becose you know he was quest priest. It is like... If he don't disrupt your way of thinking, you will never realize you should finaly start attacking before it will be late.
Actually you don't always attack the priest if you have more than 2 damage(they can heal by more than 2 btw). you gotta be smart about knowing when to attack or not. I play maly rogue and I want to mess with priests so I don't attack the entire game so they don't complete their PRECIOUS quest and I only kill them with the combo. priest is my easiest match-up. anyways my post was not about if I'm helping the priest or not. I was wondering, Do priest players really think their opponent is surprised by their quest? If the opponent didn't attack the first few turns then why not just play the quest(he obviously knows about it)? Do they think they tricked their opponent by not playing the quest?

It’s not about whether or not you know priests have it, it’s about how you’re going to screw up your plays because you know it’s there. You’d be surprised how many players totally switch up their paint-by-numbers net decks based upon the quest, particularly if you don’t know which one it is. As probably the only player in the game who doesn’t net deck I find it very useful to hold my quest card until it can be of use- one error a player can make is trying to get the quest off once you’ve played the card, rather than playing the board. You sound as if you lose a lot, stop whining and git gud.

So they wouldn't screw their game plan because they know you have the quest. damn, your comment the so retarded like your slutty mom. I bet that you're a trash player on rank 15 who thinks he's something
PS: you're not the only one who doesn't net deck. Many MANY people don't including me.

stfu dumbass little fart. I literally said in one of the comments that I bully them with my malygos rogue deck. priest is my easiest match-up, you cunty son of a bitch. "It’s not about whether or not you know priests have it, it’s about how you’re going to screw up your plays because you know it’s there". So why not just play the quest if you realized your opponent knows that the quest is in your hand? Why tf would someone screw their plays if they knew it's in your hand? So they wouldn't screw their plays if you played the quest on turn one? in both cases people would play against quest priest the same way. and Why tf does my post make me sound like I'm losing a lot? I literally hit legand this expansion, you ******** cunt. what about you?
Legend? hmmm, show us print and we will know that u're not being salty or anything. Otherwise u came here or to complain or u came to brag urself for ur "Legend" position?

Lol look at all that swearing and name calling. Sure helps him get his point across and doesn't at all make him seem like he has only ever read about the sun in books but has never actually seen it before. Then again, I may be giving him too much credit thinking he has ever read a book before too.

It's funny when they pause for 20 seconds turn one like as if they could be debating on playing any other 1 mana card.

20 seconds?
If I had a free common card for every time I was roped on turn 1 in ladder..... I'd have a full golden collection worth of dust
-DadamE
Real question is why people even play quest priest, deck is hot garbage.
Maybe becose it is really efective against aggro?
