Hello,

i am trying to figure out a deck to play on ranked (i am 13 atm) that involves Priest class and control archetype.

I created this deck and tried it on ladder. I tried to put in counters to Bomb Warrior and aggro decks, and the combo Auchenai + Vargoth + Circle of Healing on turn 9 turned out to be great to clear the board on late game, despite it being slow. I'm not sure if i should put a pyromancer and cut aCabal Shadow Priest. 

I wonder if anyone has tried to build a viable priest deck because i don't see much deck building around here on this expansion.

Priest lost many control tools so making a control archetyp won´t work out too well... u can either build a midrange dragon priest or ressurect priest which would come as close to "control" as possible...

It looks okay I guess, no idea why you put Baron Geddon in there. The only question I have is how do you win? You can stall out the game and clear boards for games sure, but what are you going to do once aggro runs out of tools, slam down some Hecklebots and chip them down? As V_enom said before, you should probably build towards a ressurect priest. 

I also looked at control Priest prior to this expansion and the question I always asked myself was: "How do I win?" 

The game has simply moved past just stalling out and doing nothing. Sure, you might beat and aggro deck or two but honestly your win against them seems to rely on a good Mass Hysteria. Priest needs more control tools. 

Though, I have had a ton of fun with Res Priest including cards like Da Undertakah, Zerek and Recurring Villain.

I put in Geddon to lure out removals from the opponent's hand and for some AoE damage, but yes i'm not convinced.

 Interesting, do you have a deck to share?

Control Priest prior rotation had mindblast with alexstrasza for a potenial TTK
