Play now vs 6 priest in a row, wall priest, clonning priest or Malygos combo, when you play so many games vs the same class is a clear sign something is wrong.
The resurrect effects is way powerful and undercosted, I lose the game even when I played x4 Polymorph (x2 from glyphs).
No mechanic or strategy in this game should exists without any counter, it is a game you can't act in opponent turn.

No offense, but if you don't know how to strategically play them then it's just your fault.
However, I think (my personal conviction, no proofs) that we will receive a nice balance patch after RoS hits.
There is no strategically play when you don't have acess to efficient tech and can't act in opponent turn.
Right now you have only 2 strategy avaiable, play priest with broken resurrect cards where any tech availble will be insuficient to interrupt your game plan or play hyper aggro decks because kill the priest before they can cheat is the only chance of victory.
Put cemitery mechanic in the game in full size or skip completely, this mid of the road is BS.
I play Dead Man’s Warrior and love facing Priest, Mill Rogue was a blast until I hit 500 Wins, also Mage do very well.
Maybe you are just a bit narrow minded with this issue bro, Priest is strong, sure, but there’s is plenty of insanity on wild to keep them in check even for me that haven’t increased my collection of cards for over 8 months 🧐
A simple change to barnes and shadow essence would fix it.. no need to nerf the entire thing
Just change barnes to read "Summon a 1/1 none deathrattle minion" or something along those wordings - same for Shadow Essence - tada, no more statues until turn 9.
Blizzard should make a special stream lessons or youtube videos in which they explain the the only way hs should be played is with supa dupa 1000 IQ control/combo homebrewed decks and 30 minutes long match is a minimum time period that proves you're not braindead blah blah something etc.

Yes dragon priest is a very good deck for the meta wild. It is a midrange deck with control tools not broken with a finisher. It is a fine deck. Like Spiteful Priest. Like now for sure it is unplayable if you find big priest you can concede.

If people want a serious discussion about a game mechanic then write it properly and come with arguments and not just suggest over-nerfs. It's really not that hard.
Don't work anymore, they play gallery and kill you in the same turn.
Even x4 Polymorph (what is really hard to do) don't stop the insane ammount of value the undercosted resurrect cards can do.
If tech instead nerfs then we need something really powerful, like reset to 0 all resurrection pools or add 30 or 60 bad minions to it.

It does seem excessive that 4x polymorph didn't stop the deck but it also seems like a highroll on opponents end. Also remember that 4 polymorphs only adds a single minion to their res pool, and if you add more you reduce their chances of ressing velen or maly even further. Tinkmaster overspark, Leeroy, the 2/3 minion that spawns a 0/3 taunt for your opponent etc.

That game proves nothing. The fact that he summoned a lot of Taunts after turn what? 8? Against a meme deck. He would have been dead by that time in ladder.

There is no skill when you can't interact with cemetery, act in opponent turn or have a tech to deal properly with that.
So the whole class should be nerfed because u don´t like playing against it? i don´t either but if i face alot of them i just adapt or go to Standard/Arena.

I seem to recall a time when Priest was stepped upon by literally any other deck to the point that the most prominent archetypes for the class were little more than meme-jokes relying on crazy cards and less-than-likely-to-work combos. Those who played Priest in spite of it all back then did it out of a genuine liking for the flavor of this then-underdog of a class and barely dreamed to see it rise one day beyond crap-tier territory. That priest deck ever rose to some of the better tiers was miraculous enough and, as far as I can judge and tell, a positive evolution for a game lastingly poisoned by ever-flourishing aggro decks.
Nowadays, with Priest certainly being quite strong - or at least, having been quite strong up to this point in standard, and probably not for much longer - yet far from almighty, I regret to see so many vomiting their hatred of a class that is - indeed - frustrating to play against, but that pales in comparison to the enduring zoo and aggro-archetypes that have polluted HS since its origins.
And while I can certainly agree that some cards and combos found in big priest are borderline broken and extremely frustrating to face, these raging calls to nerf into oblivion and cripple a class whose power is as blatant now as it is fragile and perhaps fading with the coming rotation, seem very unfair to me and certainly not so hellbent on improving the game but rather on taking petty revenge on a successful archetype of control deck in a class that has, at times, been extraordinarily weak.
Balancing things out ? Sure - I can imagine some things that could be changed for the better. Depriving Priest of all the tools it has been relying on to be viable and leave it as unplayable as it once was ? Come on ...

Repeat it but slowly. 4 polymoprh. FOUR POLYMOPRH. If you really think priest is broken, then blizzard have to nerf the glyph to 5 mana and poly to 17 mana.
For someone who plays priest since 2015, we had our ups and downs. There were expansions where priest was dead for a long time, maybe that was before your time idk. Currently, I dont play priest, but I do play wild.. rank 7 currently. I dont get matched vs many priests nowadays but I wish I did, so I can mill all there cards, hex or polymorph there ragnaros and obsidian. I love stomping on big priests, I dont see a problem really. Play aggro decks or rogues and it should be an easy win. Instead of taking the time to write threads, do your research on how to beat your enemies. GL HF

If ur playing Wild with all the cards and u have no idea how to counter Priest then u should stop playing Wild.
I know how to counter priest, play even shaman, odd paladin or pirate warrior and smash his face before resurrect spells BS.
Playing vs priest feels a lot playing vs quest rogue before the nerfs and that card was nerfed twice for a reason.
If not else be changed a least Barnes need to be nerfed.
