Yes, you have to guess what your opponent has. That’s how card games work. And you played into double mirror entity. Sometimes you get rolled by your opponent. Don’t complain about every game.
I played into it because it was highly unlikely he had the second one, and I expected Explosive Runes since that's what they run most of the time.

I feel like I lost only because my opponent drew better. topdeck sap and topdeck a 2/1 charge for lethal.
You lost because you chose to coin out a grizzly instead of a hysteria. Hysteria would make him use more cards in an attempt to regain the board, making grizzly better.
I disagree with this. He still had to use up resources to kill the Grizzly, then I could immediately resummon it. Not only that, but I think the chances that Hysteria leaves up a 3/3 were too high.
edit: Unless you are telling me that I have to play around a topdeck Edwin in that spot.
A 3/3 isn’t that scary, especially if you had chosen scream instead of spellstone. Your line didn’t win the game, mine would have.
Also, you choose hysteria over scream when your opponent has an egg on board.
I chose Hysteria over Scream because I didn't feel like I could wait until T7 to deal with the board and I had no other plays around T5 when I made the choice. Also, given that it's an Egg, I thought it was likely I'd be up against a board full of proc'd Eggs and the 5/5s would all clear each other.
I am fine with my choice.
edit: It was just a little unlucky the way it played out, him not having Egg procs and having a completely different line than is usual.
not really sure what the best play is here. i just have gargoyles in the pool.
If I were you, I would have healed myself and pass. Since odd rogue can't run any coldbloods anymore, the burst potential is lower. On turn 6 I would coin out psychic or cast mass hysteria depending on the board state. Being at 15 Health isn't that scary.
If this were a wild game, I would have advised you to deal with that pesky 5/5 cuz' of Loatheb.

Just making random comments:
Imho you did the right thing by playing the Grizzly in that game. I would have also played it instead of Mass Hysteria, because a) there is a big chance the 3/3 would survive, b) the rogue player would put you to 13 health this way, c) you have a good minion in your resurrection pool. It's a bit Scheiße, that your opponent found a sap and you couldn't heal yourself with your HP, but that was the right play. The only thing I would have done differently was to pick Psychic Scream over the spellstone, in order to slow down the opponent. It wouldn't matter, because you wouldn't have the mana to cast it, but it's worth noting.
I'm not well aware with the standard hunter beast deck, but do they run silences? If not, I would definitely play Zilliax on turn 8, which would grant me 6 health and block 3 face damage. I might have also summoned a 3/1 copy of it just because you are low on health, though this could be a missplay.
I have been playing the deck for the last two expansions and I have had a 70% winstreak with it every time I have played it. Unfortunatly I get tired of decks too quikcly so I never hit Legend, but that is never my intention either.
Against aggro you have to hard mulligan for boardclear of any sort. Keep eternal servitude if you have a grizzly, if not, go for early clears (Spirit lash and the 1 mana deal 2 damage) and boardclears(Mass hysteria and psycic scream)
Against control you want to get you Velen or Maly out as quick as possible, oftentimes with shadow essence (I run a version with two of these cards, and it has proven to be the best to me.) If they have hex or poly you just shadow word death you velene and try to beat them with 3 spellstones. In these matchups you win 50% with combo, and 50% with resummoning big minions and taking them down this way.
Against Odd warrior, just try to resummon as many big cards as you can, while you try to bait out clears when you can. You wont win with combo, but you will win with 3 spellstones and some eternal servitudes
Agaisnt combo: Get your combo faster, or try to delay theirs by psycic screaming a full board into their deck and stuff like that. Against togwaggle you will most of the time loose anyway, but most other combo matchups schould be quite good.
All in all I recomend to watch this video, and to use the deck described as a hybrid version. Thats the one that has worked the best for me :)
do they ever NOT have a powerful turn in the mirror?? coin Malygos and then had a huge turn for the rest of the game. All I needed was ONE dud turn. Maybe I should have ignored the Maly and just played Gallery as planned?
I'm currently running the Hybrid Gallery which doesn't include Lyra. I'm wondering how you're supposed to use the PWS's in this list, if you aren't using it on Radiant on 2. Should I be casting it on opponent's minions just to cycle?

If your in need of card draw because you desperatly need a clear at that point thats a valid option. You can also use it to make your hysteria better, or simply on your grizzly or Zilliax if you get them om the board

I agree, I think it's best on Zilliax and Grizzly, especially in the Hunter matchup. It's one of those "I hope I don't get it in the early game" cards, unless you have Radiant and Spellstone in hand too.

I agree, I would have played Zilliax on 8 and Obsidian on 9 to gain some health, even if they would get through anyway.
On a sidenote: I took around 3 hours to play gallery priest yesterday because I felt like it. I started at rank 15, 0 stars and with 6 ranked wins with priest (!). I have no Lyra, no DK Anduin and I still managed to get to rank 14, 2 stars and 21 ranked wins. I learned a lot and I had fun even losing. If there was still proof needed, a priest noob with 1, arguably 2 key cards missing getting to slightly over 50% win rate should demonstrate that the deck is viable.
What completely destroyed me was shaman, all the rest is at least 50/50, even the hunters. Once they get Hagatha out it's gg. I just can't handle 4 Hexs in one game. What's your strategy against those?
Absolutely, and I'm currently sitting at Rank 4 two stars, so I'm starting to have some success with it (and accepting that bad matchups are just a thing in Hearthstone and I won't win every game....). Definitely one thing I noticed about the Rank 15 to 10 meta (which was a really easy section tbh) was that people tended to go all in going into key board clear turns, which meant one good Hysteria or Scream was gg. At Rank 10 and on people are a bit smarter and will start making 2 to 3 big threats, saving reload and chipping away at your life total with 4 to 6 damage per turn.

Anything I could have done here vs Odd (non quest) Warrior? I realized early on my win condition was to put specific minions into the res pool and get a huge spellstone turn for 80+ damage. It was a bit unfortunate that I didn't draw the third Mind Blast and didn't draw Anduin.
I'm giving up on gallery priest. I lost two days worth of progress in one hour last night while playing at the top of my game. I can't handle these kind of swings.

1) Playing the Radiant Elemental didn't make any sense. You basically just threw it away.
2) Yes, you probably should have, but not necessarily because you were afraid of Divine Spirit.
I think the assumption is that it would have been Mind Blast Priest. But you also knew his hand had at least 1 combo piece if you were hand tracking (whether they were Mind Blasts or Spirit/Fires). I think the assumption he probably had more was reasonable seeing as how he had only played 2 cards all game. You were dead there to 3 mind blasts at 22 life and 7 damage on board. So in that instance, you would had a good chance of been dead to Shadow Visions.
However, your hand wasn't doing anything. You had a second Scream. You also drew into Hysteria. You had a spellstone in hand. Against Priest, when you know it's not Gallery, how much more distance are you getting out of your 3 AOEs but against a 4/9 Drake?
3) I also think coining a lich king wasn't the right play either. Coin is more important later. You had better options. You could probably play Lich onto an empty board next turn and kept the coin.
At the end of the game, you should have played Statue instead of Velen Heal. It was probably unlikely he drew back into Clockwork after the Scream. You know that the bulk of Odd Mage's damage is minion based. Even if he had Rag, he would still have to 50/50 your face. Plus, you could probably assume he either had Baku or Leeroy in his hand since he held the far left card literally all game.

I'll give that a try and add two Shadow Essenences to the bottom of my deck.
Yea I just lost to Zoo after playing about as well as was possible given my hand. No Essences.

edit: 88 damage is the max output, Spellstone (Velen, Maly, Radiant, Lich King), triple Mind Blast for 60 and double Holy Smite for 28 more.
edit: looking back on this, there was no need to play the spellstone in 15, considering i hadn't drawn lethal yet.
