Dragon package: fortunately for even priest, some of the better dragon's and dragon synergies are even. since dragon priest by itself is a fairly good deck, it seemed only fitting to give it to this deck as well. Duskbreaker and Primordial Drake are some of the deck's board clears. Bone Drake is a great setup for Da Undatakah and Princess Talanji, as well as just an okay way to generate more dragons/value.
Auchenai Package: Auchenai Phantasm was the card that the original poster had, and what inspired me to make this deck, it seems like a hidden gem, and I want to try out its possibilities. with your hero power at 1 mana, this can be a 3 mana 3/2 deal 2 damage, which is already fair. Combine this with cards like Circle of Healing and Squashling for some juicy combo's. I think Squashling might be the weirdo card here, but it might just prove to be good enough.
Rattle Package: smallest package, the goal here is to get value out of bone drakes, added Cairne Bloodhoof to ensure you can get the triple deathrattle for Da Undatakah without relying on heavily Seance.
The overal plan is to make decent trades, get value out of deathrattles, make a bigf play with talanji and maybe even close out the game with your auchenai's.
I haven't tested the deck yet and will begin testing today, but in the meantime, I was wondering if anyone else has tried even priest with some success, or if you have some feedback on card choices and possible replacements, as it stands Shadow Visions doesn't do much, and I was thinking about maybe replacing Squashling with Mind Blast.
I'd love to hear how it goes. Seems like you have a pretty small margin for error in terms of synergy with both Da Undatakah and Princess Talanji given how few deathrattles and minion-generating cards you have in the deck. You're also very dependent upon having board control for those late game plays (admittedly something Dragon Priest is good at) since they don't offer any immediate protection. I wonder if a Stonehill Defender or two would be worth including just to give you some protection when you play Talanji. Obviously that's especially nice if you can find an Obsidian Statue.
I'd have a hard time omitting Mind Blast, too. It's just such a great finisher.
Whats the win condition? Might be fun to play but it Seems to be too slow vs aggro or zoo and Gas not enough Power to Break through the armor of a druid or warrior or kingsbanes Healing power.

Yup, you need some kind of ultra win condition these days... I keep trying to make fringe decks like this work (I'd be happy with a 40% win rate) but unless you are aggro it feels like you need to be OTK or be able to go infinite... late game value decks are hard to pull off.
Like the first guy said, I would try to include two Mind Blasts... that way you setup for a big push late... get control and get them in range of a double Mind Blast finisher. With Shadow Visions, maybe more mind blasts vs control.
Cool deck though, you did pack in a lot of board clears... the question will be if it's enough against odd pally and aggro warlock, which will slowly start making their way back as simple minded players get bored of the new expansion.
Not actually a meme btw. Card saw play in wild even shaman for a more value oriented build. I personally never preferred that variant, but it was the right choice in some pocket metas.
Even decks utilize their one mana hero power for tempo. Drawing a card (Even Lock), summoning a totem (Even Shaman)/silver hand knight (Even Paladin), or equipping a weapon (Even Rogue) all do something useful. Healing is rarely a tempo play.
Genn isn't a good card by itself, and you are omitting several useful cards (Cleric/Twilight Acolyte/new 5-mana board clear/Scream) from your list because they are odd. All this to get a cheaper hero power which still does basically nothing. Can't be good.
Alright I've been testing on unranked just to kickstart the deck. I ended up throwing out Da Undatakah and Cairne Bloodhoof as it's just too many different packages and way too fringe to work consistently, and added Mind Blast, it's pretty essential to make this deck viable. I'm still looking for a way to make Princess Talanji work, someone mentioned Weaponized Pinata which looks like a cool addition. I also threw out Seance for Spirit Lash, as it's essential vs odd paladin, and overal just good against other aggressive matchups.
With the addition of Spirit Lash, I think the deck has a good number of board clears. Bone Drake is proving to be a hidden gem since there are a bunch of new great dragons with rastakhan.
With the few games I've played, it's very similar to control dragon priest, only it can use auchenai's for more possible bursts. Thanks for the feedback so far I'll post the updated deck in a sec.
I just updated my successful Even Dragon Combo priest from last expansion. It's a topsy turvy build. I had a top of success. It may still want a mossy horror as a tech against odd pally. Probably instead of a regenerate.
Some comments (I am one of the initial even builders that is still experimenting ).
For me the Primordial Drakes are to expensive and are not needed here. Playing one is fine if you like it.
Usind two Dead Ringers gives you 2 drops + makes the deck more consistent drawig your key cards the Bone Drakes.
Seance is a superior card in that deck especially when you utilize the Princess.
Shadow madness is a good card if you face a lot of aggro. Spirit lash is mostly if paladins get out of hands... I skiped both due to no room.
Pinata is nice but a meme in that deck ...
I tried one mind control which is a good tech card against slow decks and big recruiters in general. Especially that untertaker tryhards ^^.
I pesonaly dislike mind blast. It´s a dead card only waitign for the final blow. I need resources to play or get overrun. I know that in slow matchups that blow often wins ... Keeping big copies for the larg drop is aready enough.
Have you tried the Divine - Topsy combo in your deck. I have found it to be a very powerful win condition. It even works with shadow madness a lot of the time as you can reasonable play shadow madness, 3 divine spirits and a topsy turvy in one turn. (essencially winning if your opponent plays a 4 health minion).
Hard to fit that in but it might be worh trying topsy and divine spirits. The spirits can also be used as surprise doubling a dragons health not to mention if you double and topsy a good Twilight Drake ...
The problem with Even Priest is the same as with any even deck. Unless your hero power is something you want to use on turn 1 then it's not a good deck.
The entire point of limiting yourself to playing onnly half a deck is because of the consistency addeed by always having access to a 1-drop (or draw in Warlock's case)
Even Rogue doesn'T work that well for this very reason. It's cool and all to have a turn 1 dagger...but in the following turns weaving in a hero power just gives much less value.
Even decks are good because their HP allows them to proactively close mana gaps. Priest Hero Power is only proactive when combined with the 2 auchenai cards, which just isn#t enough.
True but there are a lot of cards and fiting cards like mass hystery and a few other 3 and 7 cost cards did´t make the deck noticable stronger. Yes adding shdow word death and screams will give you more stability but the end outcome did´t feel so much better that the 1 cost HP can´t make up for it. We have a full 2 set envionment and enough cards to fit even or odd versions. In all decks i made its usually 2-4 cards that i will miss and need to replace with a bit worse options but get the HP upgrade. I know the 1 cost heal is one of the weaker upgrade but still a good filler.

You think I didn't already know that? I'm still making the deck lol. What's the point of this comment? Just because something isnt a tier 1/2 deck doesn't mean it shouldn't be explored. That's like telling a bazooka hunter they shouldn't even think about the deck bc there are better hunter decks.
Some few days ago someone on the forums posted a concept for even priest. I really liked the idea so I thought I'd make a concept of my own.
The Deck:
Choices:

Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.

problem is, stonehill is 3 mana ;(

Oh, yeah. I'm dumb. Sorry, carry on.

O.o o.O

The only problem I see is limited board clears. With the never ending ability of aggro to quickly rebuild the board this may be an issue.
If you are in your first year of playing please read this post.
Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.
where is my boy The Lich King ?

here's the new deck concept.
To talk about Princess Talanji again, I do like the Weaponized Pinata concept, but I'm not sure what to throw out for it. Was thinking Auchenai Soulpriest but that would make the anti heal package (Squashling, Circle of Healing) less consistent. Any thoughts?
