I don't remember having so much fun with HS in ages. Perhaps since Raza got nerfed and K&C came out, nore enjoying a deck so much. I like looooooong, exhausting games, decided by who can milk out more values from its cards rather than who draws cards on curve. And i do like RNG, when it helps to make feel the games differents, rather then just deciding if you win or lose. I crafted priest's quest Ungoro day 1, even umbra and -sigh- herald volazj, but the deck never really worked out. The deck received a lot of support in K&C with plated beatle and twilight's call, but now Rotten Applebaum gave the final push in terms of sustainability while completing the quest. As for the RNG, Crystalline Oracle, Bone's Drake, Elise Trailblazer, Arfus and the great Archbishop Benedictus ensure that you never have two games even remotely close to each other.
Deck feels finally consistent enough, in a day i climbed from 10 to 5 and not a single matchup felt inwinnable: paladins (actually the easiest matchup), tempo mage, spiteful druid, hadronox druid, control warlock (hard if they pulls rin too soon and you havent drew benedictus), cubelock, hunter, even quest rogue (my final boss to rank 5, took me a while but i managed to win). I even had my first ever draw due to reaching 50 turns: a crazy mirror match, at the 50th turn we both had full hand, 40 life (+armor) and around 60 cards in our deck. 50 turns where 5 Amara and 4 Ungoro pack's were played. I understand that not everyone likes super long games, or that the crafting cost of the deck is not exactly F2P friendly (8 legendaries,6 epics), but if you love control decks, look no further, Quest Priest won't disappoint you.
(Here in the pictures a screenshot during the match that lasted till turn 50)
I want to like Quest Priest. But it never quite feels right for me. I guess it seems to rely very heavily on fatiguing the opponent which can be a lottle boring at times. NOt to say the deck is bad in any way (and I may go back and try it again with one of these versions). Just can be a little frustrating to play in the current meta when you have decks like Cubelock and similar still causing trouble.
Post-nerf might be a change around tho and I can see this deck rising in prominance perhaps.
Indeed is the Kibler's one (the streamers that made me love priest since MSG). I just swapped alex with Elise (extra greediness and extra memes) and mind control with Arfus (too good with Twilights Call to pass, and now potion of madness is Wild, so...)
I got to legend this season using only questpriest. it was suprisingly consistent. I normally only rank to 5 and then play fundecks (was also playing a lot of weasel priest back in the days) but this time I just kept climbing.
I suggest to cut the Mindcontrol and a tip. Be super aware of your mulligans (against EVERY matchup I kept loot hoarder, the cycle just helps so much to find answers on the go).
He is very good against control warlock (after the opponent plays Azari, you can just refill your deck with his), so I guess it depends on how many warlocks you encounter on ladder. It's also fairly good against control mage, because I feel like fatiguing control mage is the only way to win over them in the long game (Jaina + water elementals just provide too much value for you to to really outvalue them, so having 10 more cards in the deck is one way to win, IMO). I don't know if I would craft him, though, I'm mostly playing him because I already had him.

I believe Kibler's is one of the better versions of quest priest right now.

Kibler's deck got me to Rank 5 no problem with 13 straight wins.
