Personally i believe that Big priest and Dragon/Big spell priest is something easily counterable and archetypes that will be bypased easily... Now that Raza isn't here Priest is gone forever again and ofc the OTK thing had to leave i guess (although i think it was very skillfull ), and left us again with no real control priest... I hope with the new expansion they will at least move that way again.. Love and peace to all
Priest have many good spells for control, potion get opponent minion for only 1 mana, 7 manas removal complete ignore deathrattle and make your opponent draw terrible, mass removal kill 5 health minions for 1 mana less than Flamestrike, have the best 2 dragons in Standard, the best set of spells to play with Spiteful, the DK don't need Raza to be powerful, etc...
Stop crying, if any class is better than priest now is warlock and for a very little margin.
Maybe your complain will be justified after rotation but better wait.
Dragon priest is plenty strong until Drakonid OP cycles, priest is in a good place. Honestly I think the corrupted healbot OTK combo is hilarious and I wish it was possible in standard for longer.

Im not crying man im just saying something i thought about because i always loved priest... be grown up and dont always say ''stop cry'' when you dont agree to something

It is pretty justified. Priest can and will struggle now, as Raza and Anduin gave it a finisher that actually worked. Now, it'll sit in the dust for the most part. Sure, it'll be strong, but nowhere near the best.
Big Priest gets a bad rep but its basically a control deck in games where you don't draw Barnes early. Sometimes you do and highroll your opponent right away but in my experience it usually plays like a control deck.
Big priest is extremely annoying especially now that they have the spellstones, but if you have the answers they are easily beatable. That's the way they should be - they win if they get the best draws, they lose if they don't. With old priest it almost didn't matter what their draw was as long as they got raza and anduin out at some point.
Dragon Priest is losing pretty much all of its best cards, Big Priest is losing Barnes and most of its board clear. Priest was strong for a while, so my guess is they don't get anything insane and will drop to a tier 3 class
Priest is not in a bad position. It's very playable. Priest players are usually upset because highlander was so dominant. I think after Priest sucked so bad through so many expansions, Blizzard over compensated and made them TOO powerful. But again, it's one of those situations where a dominant deck finally gets the smackdown, and the next dominant deck will soon be the most hated thing in Hearthstone. Namely cubelock. But that's the nature of the beast. It's all a cycle. I don't think I've ever seen a time since it's creation where all 9 classes were balanced. And even then, some classes were just more OP than the rest. Hence nerfs. Really a Hearthstone gamer's job is to figure out how to break the system. Blizzard doesn't really know how powerful something might effect the meta until that one person figures out some super combo. They might have an idea of synergy, but I don't think they really see the effect until it hits the streets and sees play. I don't feel bad for priest. But they might get the short end of the stick in coming expansions because of this. Shaman and Warrior are probably going to get big boosts going forward.
Actually there is a recent rise in popularity for a Control Dragon Priest deck that utilizes the Cabal Shadow Priest + Twilight Acolyte combo along with Kabal Songstealer to wreck Warlock. I've been playing a version of it in wild before it got noticed and I've had great success with it.
I think it's clear priest is going to be the next shaman because blizzard doesn't know how to balance, all they know is that after they make broken decks the only way to fix it is make them unplayable. Priests' days are numbered, in a while they will be even more of a joke than warrior.
Ya I loved Razakus and is sucked when that deck got nerfed but Spiteful and combo Dragon decks are still pretty competitive and fun. I just hope the next expansion adds some good Dragons. Loosing Netherspite Historian and Drakonid Operative is gonna hurt if there isn't anything comparable to replace them. I think priest is still in a good position... just not sitting on top anymore.

Big Priest will fade because of barnes and Ysharii, if the deck gets no support in the next Expansion
But dragonpriest? One of the most OP cards in the game is here to stay
True, but we'll only see him twice per game instead of 4 times.
Highlander priest still a very decent deck to play, chance from a retarded broken combo for a good control deck, but people don't like fair decks when you have to play and interact with your opponent plays...
I know everyone's already said it haha, but... 7 of my last 9 matches (very small sample size, I know, bear with me) are against priest. Mix of dragon/spiteful priest and Barnes priest. The other two are warlock and mage.
That's kinda how my matchups have been lately though. Priest is still in a very strong spot. They just aren't in a broken spot any more =P

Priest is in a good spot right now. No OP decks but competitive decks.
Do you realize that spiteful priest is actually one of the best decks in the game right now?
Combo priest is strong too, but the whole combo thing is not easy to accomplish, and the deck is hard to play in general.
Sorry, braindead combo for enough damage to kill your opponents family and loved ones in one turn is dead. But priest is still strong.
I'm sorry, but what meta you in, right now priest decks are top.
Plus if this is for post rotation, wait and see, people use to worry about rogue being a dead class pre first rotation. They ended up in a good spot.
So priest are strong now even without rasa priest, and new ones can form after.

(My deck in case anybody was curious)

Spiteful Priest rocks right now. I add one Psychic Scream to deck and it solved many problems.

Priest has a lot of control. Besides, all priest is now is :
Copy a card in your opponents hand
Copy cards in your opponents deck
Guess a card your opponent has and keep it
Gain control of minion for a turn
Gain control of minion
Basically has to use every one elses cards cause its confused on what it wants to be
Hello!
