Been having a lot of fun with a Priest deck I've created that has being doing quite well so far. It primarily aims at making Skelemancer and Devilsaur Egg really annoying to deal with (with Taunt and buffs) and making many copies of them but it is flexible enough to use those same buffs to adapt to many situations. It is a budget deck (as I don't have that much dust) but this deck actually runs just fine without any epics and legendaries. It's my first actual deck that I've created that is working very well so far and is a ton of fun to play. As it is my first deck (and my first deck creation on Hearthpwn) let me know if I've missed anything huge or basic.
You can view the deck below (I've put the full details on the deck page itself) and I would love to hear any comments or suggestions.

If I were to have extras of the cards I'm missing, I would try this deck out. But the decklist and the deck idea is rather interesting and fun! Nice work :D
I have a much larger collection but this deck is an interesting idea, I might "Steal" it and modify it slightly to test out. Good job though! Nice cheap budget deck that is playable.
I would suggest swapping out the sunfury protector and gastropod for either tar creeper or probably some removal like sw death or potion of madness, otherwise a great deck

The Stubborn Gastropod can be swapped out for either Tar Creeper or a removal/control spell as you mentioned. I included as an additional defensive tool that can be copied or have its health buffed in case of aggro or a scary minion by your opponent. But you can definitely swap it out with something else, good point.
For the Sunfury Protector I'm a little less sure as it's a 2 mana 2/3 minion that gives you double Taunt. Because it's so cheap you can often squeeze it in when playing one of the Deathrattle cards and make them a lot harder to ignore. Granted, it doesn't give stat buffs but it does provide good stats for the mana whilst also giving 2x Taunt.
I'll be honest and say I haven't given this a try on Ranked yet. Because it's my first real deck creation I wanted to be sure I wasn't missing something huge or basic before I gave it spin there. In the many games I've played with it on Casual so far (against many solid decks) it did very well. Given the positive response so far I will definitely try it out on Ranked tonight and post the results.
As mentioned I gave it a try on Ranked but since I'm new that means I'm starting at 25 and I'm guessing that's filled with other new players as well. So far I've absolutely steamrolled everyone I've come across. Once Taunt got on Skelemancer or Devilsaur Egg they just got destroyed. Early double Shadow Ascendant is equally evil if the opponent doesn't clear it fast. You can just keep healing/buffing them and staying ahead on board. Will keep playing though and hopefully come across better opposition so I can start seeing what this deck struggles with other than aggro.
Would suggest trying such a build in hunter, he got more tools to make this thing work better, with Play Dead and Terrorscale Stalker played that deck and had a lot of success it's also quite budget, and has a better win condition in Steady Shot and Kill Command.
Sadly that deck isn't competitive.. but it's probably worth a try if you have highmane and those cards I mentioned, also you have a deathknight and a legendary weapon? guess you didn't get the priest death knight(?)
Would suggest you that if you have 800 dust you should craft corridor creeper, he is being nerfed so you can use it this month and next month disenchant him for free.
I did consider Hunter actually, but the downside there is that it has no synergy with Skelemancer. Triggering Skelemancer's Deathrattle with either Play Dead or Terrorscale Stalker will not produce an 8/8.
It does have strong synergy with Devilsaur Egg of course and it will have more removal/control than what my deck offers. I suppose you could swap out Skelemancer for Savannah Highmane and get similar results. The base stats for Savannah Highmane are definitely better than Skelemancer, though the Deathrattle is weaker. You won't have any copies to make though (other than maybe a Stitched Tracker and Abominable Bowman but neither are specific to your Deathrattle minions). I think it would be a very different deck in the end.
For my deck the aim is more to get as many copies out of the Deathrattle minions themselves and force the opponent to deal with them, ensuring the spawned minions are active on my turn. Skelemancer is also a card that your opponent will almost never want to kill on the turn you played it, allowing you to buff it. This is less the case with Savannah Highmane (as two 2/2's aren't that scary).
I don't currently have the 800 dust for the Corridor Creeper though it is a card I hadn't considered. It could have some synergy with this deck given the copies that will die and make the card cheaper. Not sure what it would replace though (other than maybe the one Stubborn Gastropod), but thanks for the suggestion.
As for other cards, I have few Hunter cards so it would sum up to quite a dust cost for me to actually create them all. The Death Knight card I have is Valeera the Hollow and I got lucky enough to get a Kingsbane from a pack later on so my other main deck is a Rogue deck. I did actually get Rhok'delar as the legendary weapon everyone got but since I had no Hunter cards to synergize with it I dusted it to get some more basic/standard cards instead.

In Wild at least, I think that the Deathrattle Egg hunter could be pretty good.
The problem of skelemencer which I faced is that people just ignore it, and make so you have to trade with them via taunts or powerful minions, also people run silence (well, probably not at rank 25 but latter on they do) When you have to trade the skelemencer you just played a 5 mana 2/2 and feel VERY bad.
I used to play it a lot in paladin when it came out.. but it just felt very weak.. even with Spikeridged Steed and similar taunt givers.
I haven't encountered that many big minions so far that were really a problem. A powerful Taunt would be a way to deny use of the Skelemancer, though if it has Taunt itself the opponent would still have to find a way to deal with it as well. Just not attacking is an option. Silence is strong against this deck, plain and simple.
This is generally why I try to make sure I have some stuff on the board when I throw down the Skelemancer so it isn't the sole target for my opponent. Or that I can make a copy on the turn I play it. I suppose a Shadow Word: Death added in somewhere might help in dealing with big minions. I never trade with my Skelemancer if that it means it dies on my turn unless I would absolutely have to, but I might simply not have encountered such situations yet.
I actually played that Paladin deck you mentioned when I was looking for a budget Paladin deck to play. It is quite different from this deck but it is fun to play and can do quite well. The only downside with it compared to my deck is that it throws everything on the same minion such as Skelemancer. Meaning a single Silence completely counters it. My deck is a little more resistant to that due to the ability to make copies and resurrect them (but again, Silence remains a strong counter).
Made a deck update today which is replacing several cards, you can view more information on the deck page. Primarily it helps to deal with aggro a lot better.
I haven't tried Priest variant of this deck, but tried Druid and Hunter decks with Devilsaour Egg and Skelemancer.
Found that Skelemenacer on Turn 5 is a little bit too slow against the aggro (i.e. Murloc Paladin usually finishes the game early) and a great target for Silence and Potion of Madness against the Priest.
Druid and Hunter can't make copies as far as I know. This helps deal with Silence by simply having too many of them on the board and if you copy an Egg or Skelemancer with Taunt, the copy also gets Taunt. As mentioned the deck does struggle with aggro. It isn't always needed to play Skelemancer on turn 5, sometimes it can be better to delay with other minions so you can get it on the board with Taunt or copies.
I'm honestly considering adding Twilight Summoner and hoping the next expansion will have something to replace them. Just to get some more reliable Deathrattle minions in the deck.
She could, be she only works on Devilsaur Eggs. Skelemancers have to die on your opponent's turn. You can throw Skelemancers into an opponent's Doomsayer though and just laugh.

Bro, this deck is sick. I chill around rank 10 in standard and wild as I don’t have a lot of time to grind, and this deck is crazy. People have no idea how to answer this. Back when I messaged you a while back I thought Mass Dispel would have been a solid way to make this a competitive meme deck, and it works wonders! I love seeing original decks. Keep up the good work.

I agree, this does seem like a pretty cool deck. Nice job with the creativity.

On a side note, playing a Devilsaur Egg into a turn 3 Explosive Runes is so damn dirty. Thank you indeed.

May i suggest adding Void Rippers and Crazed Alchemist to crack open the eggs yourself if u'r ever in need :)
Great idea!
Cheers :)
Lemme just topdeck that real quick.
That can work, though usually the only eggs that have 0/3 are the ones you initially play.
All copies will have 1/1 as well as those brought back by Twilight's Call.
For the 0/3 eggs there's still Shadow Ascendant, Unidentified Elixir, Sunfury Protector and Defender of Argus.
I'm honestly considering adding Twilight Summoner and hoping the next expansion will have something to replace them.
Just to get some more reliable Deathrattle minions in the deck.
Could Spirit Seeker Umbra fit in this deck?
She could, be she only works on Devilsaur Eggs. Skelemancers have to die on your opponent's turn.
