Is it just me, or does it seem like all decks will lose to a priest? I feel like priest has all the tools of the other classes but better, and has two of the most dominant deck archetypes around today. Is there even anything that can really be done about it though? For me right now, the only thing that I can get to beat another priest is using priest myself.
Game is just becoming more and more depressing, like yugioh except you don't lose on turn one and just move on!

It is getting goo crazy, I agree. Big Priest and Razakus, and now this stupid Spiteful bullshit deck. I'm actually beginning to hate my own previously favourite class.
I don't really think they're unbeatable, but this new Big Spell Priest is extremely annoying when they can play on curve; in addition to regular Big Priest...I can't wait for Barnes and Yshaarj to rotate tbh, hopefully we'll move a bit away from highroll decks...but doubt it :/
Don't forget, a few expansions ago we had a deck called OTK worgen warrior. It OTKs people like Raza priest but does it worse because it can't go through taunt, is cheap enough for f2p and actually requires skill ... blizzard nerfed it to the ground because it was so uninteractive and frustrating to play against
If worgen warrior is "uninteractive and frustrating" while Raza priest is perfectly fine, then I really don't know what "uninteractive and frustrating" means anymore because I can't spot the difference between these two decks
Maybe "uninteractive and frustrating" = "cheap and skill intensive"? That would make wallet decks like Big priest very "interactive" indeed! Well, I'm glad nowadays the meta is only full of interactive things like turn 3 coin 1/1 y'shaarj into 10/10 y'shaarj. Thanks blizzard!

I think they nerfed it because it was cheap . Razakus , big priest decks are expensive , even though they are otk, singleton decks ...

For Raza priest you need to meet certan conditions. Lets say... Hmm... No duplicates, bazilion legendaries, combo in a certan maner over a number of turns and all the other bullshit. If you compare that to Worgen warrior then you dont understand this game at all.
Totally agreed. I think it's time for blizz to put a tech card against these library centric decks. Its'll similar to The Darkness but we all know The Darkness is just too slow and it's a big tempo lost play even if you play on turn 4.
We need something that triggers before the game start like Prince Malchezaar and puts 3 or 4 1/1 minions with the same name into enemy's deck. The card itself can be a minion with bad stats to balance it. So this will disable Raza until they draw all these minions. Against Big priest, their deck will be colluded with these 1/1s.
I'm ok with the dragon tempo deck...at least these days are interactive and really they get racked by AOEs.

And you don't understand jokes at all
My point is that they're both OTK decks. Blizzard nerfed worgens giving us the explanation that they hate OTK decks and it's not fun for the opponent to play against. Razakus pretty much fits the exact criteria that resulted in worgens getting a nerf. They're both OTK and they're both not fun to play against in similar ways; in blizzard's words, not mine
The differences between the decks are exactly what you said : "No duplicates, bazilion legendaries, combo in a certan maner over a number of turns and all the other bullshit". Since Razakus isn't nerfed while worgens are, the "logical" (joke) conclusion I made was that blizzard nerfed worgen warrior because it required skill instead of these things
1. Depends what Priest deck youre refering to but theire all beatable, while i agree that othk combos should not exist in this game and decks that are able to deal 30 damage oth should be nerfed even if its fringe/ OR print a counter tech card that actually works, like Battlecry reset your enemys Hero Power to basic hero power. And not useless cards like Mindbreaker enemy can just remove and kill you afterwards.
Back to topic...
Raza OTHK Deck: Can be constistently beaten with Jade druid (double branching Path look MrYagut stream he was playing this yesterday with verry good winratio vs raza priest Legend <100.
A bit fringe are OTHK Mage, Mill Rogue but also win consistant against the deck.
Big Priest: In my opinion a worse version of Big druid, basically any aggressive tempo deck can beat them, like rogue for example, or Control Warlock since Big priest has no reach and is easy farm for CL,
Big Spell Priest/Dragon Priest: The Midrange versions of Priest class both still vulnerable to Control Lock, pretty even with other midrange decks.

Not to hurt my own argument, but I believe big priest actually has about a 70/30 matchup against control warlock.
Hearthpwn will always complain about that class, no matter what deck(s) it is.
There are several decks that you can play to have a good chance against Priest. If they aren't obvious for you, probably you need to find another game, because HS is not for you.
Priest was an awful class for SO long. Get over it that it is finally good.
Finally, Razakus is nowhere near as oppressive as some of the other god tier decks of the past. Again, GET OVER IT.

It's not even close to the best in THIS meta either. Aggro paladin wrecks the meta and yet we complain about Razakus priest instead.

Dunno what list you talk about but normaly they almost cant beat CL. Try Sjows List for example also 100> Legend.

I don't play control warlock or big priest. I'm going off of the vicious syndicate statistics. It also makes sense that big priest lays the smackdown on control lock based on how the decks are constructed. Any big priest that includes the spellstone should dominate the matchup.
Long answer: Priest is honestly the only class you have to think to play nowdays, maybe warlock is up there as well but Priest is for sure a class that test the skill of people... why is this, you may ask, well give Highlander priest to a rank 25 player, with all the cards, all the legendaries, a literally net deck at its finnest and they'll probably not win a single game, you can give an aggro or tempo face deck to an average player and then to a legend player and the win rate won't be that different, probably 5% or so, but if you do this with Highlander priest the winrate will change dramatically, a good player can achieve a solid 55-60% while the average one with no experience with the deck might struggle to even get to 30%, the deck has a high skill cap, as much as salty teens like to cry about ohh it's just raza on 5 and anduin on 8 and you win, ez deck, 0 skill involved, and yes, if you get the nut draw of course you just roll over your opponent but that can be said for any deck ever, you can see how skilled a player is by both how do they mulligan against an specific class and how do they pilot the games when you don't draw your combo on curve and even worse, when raza or anduin (sometimes even both) are buried in like the last 5 cards in your deck. So to answer the question, yes priest is insanely strong, Highlander priest is easily the strongest deck in the game atm it can beat any single deck with the correct draw, even a match-up like Aggro Paladin which is a stupid fast deck can be won if you get your early AoE in hand, so Lash Talnos or Pyro + cheap spells or even Auchenai circle can cool down the game enough so you can get to the turns where the Paladin just can't come back at all but you need to know how to play those early turns where the aggro decks dominate until you can stabilize and win. Also there's like this triangle shape meta rn, Priest pretty much negates any control deck as they naturally lost to combo decks and this is one of the strongest combo decks ever, the only control class that makes the cut is Warlock and it's just cause of how insanely strong cheating out Void Lords and Doomguards with weapon and lackey is, and then getting a wall of taunts or an army of chargers with the cubes and even then priest just farms any form of slow warlock, and then Warlock just stops most aggro, tempo and mid-range decks... So priest and warlock just negate any other control decks, Warlock stops any minion based deck, Priest farms Warlock and also with the right hand, a good mulligan a little bit of luck can stop any fast deck. With the right hand (and I don't mean the nut draw but the proper hand for each match-up) priest is just unbeatable and has answers for everything, the only deck that can consistlenly stop priest is Exodia mage and they still need to get the ice blocks on time, and that deck will never thrive as every fast deck destroys it and there are a loooot of fast decks currently, every other deck just has to wait and see on the priest draw, even if they get a good start the game can be lost if the priest has the correct hand.

As long as blizzard thinks that resurrecting 10/10 body from 1/1 cheated token and using 28 mana worth of hero power in a turn is ok this won't change
Piloted Shredder, Knife Juggler, Mad Scientist, Dr. Boom
Need to be removed from this game

Same, the old school underdog control Priest days are missed.
Dibbity don't touch that!

Paladin has the strongest deck in the meta.
I'm really not liking the new decks it has and how it wins.
Who’s hunting now? And who’s the beast?
My god this topic is SO tired.
