I'm currently playing a wild Chancey Priest (inspired by Kripparian's Chancey Priest from Un'Goro), and having decent success (Probably between 45% and 50% wins), but I feel like it could be better. I lose to freeze mage and jades. Any suggestions? (Decklist below)
Play Spawn of Shadows, Mirage Caller (Targeting Spawn of Shadows), Mind Blast in one turn, while using the hero power whenever possible to deal 33 damage to your opponent in one turn, while only taking 20 damage yourself.
If 33 damage is not enough, hold onto The Coin if you have it, and Circle of Healing to deal an extra 20 damage, for a grand total of 53 damage in one turn. However, you will then take 32 damage, so unless you have armor, you will also die.
There is a workaround for that problem though, if you are low on health. Instead of dealing 5 damage with Mind Blast, instead play Violet Illusionist to protect yourself from taking lethal damage.
The hero power theme is fine, although if you do want a truly value-oriented approach then it would be in your best interest to drop a few cards. Shifting Shade and Obsidian Statue play for value and for board, which you don't really care about. I would opt to go with a draw engine, maybe Acolyte of Pain and Loot Hoarder. Lyra the Sunshard is always pretty cool, but I'd go with a Shadow Visions instead for more consistency. No Prophet Velen in the deck, so cutting the value package sees Barnes lose a bit of value as well. It's really up to you to aim for value or aim to kill; either way, your card choices should better reflect that.
I've got a problem with a bunch of cards on that list. The ultimate aim is to get the combo and rush your opponent down. So I would suggest more card draw and the exclusion of more irrelevant clunky cards like Garrison Commander or Obsidian Statue. I'm not entirely sure as to what the definition of a "Chancey" priest deck is, but I have just hit top 20 in wild with my own OTK Renopriest deck. [Spoiler it was NOT a netdeck]
Anyway, I'd be glad to share it with you if you'd like, but if you're intending on playing with the whole inspire based package, I highly recommend running a Recruiter, that guy is a frigging menace. Also about Gluttenous Ooze, not sure what server you're playing on, but I haven't run into a single pirate warrior in my last 31 games in Legend ladder, and it's basically useless in other situations. I'd suggest a Curious Glimmerroot in its place.
I can definitely see your point when it comes to shifting shade, obsidian statue, barnes, and garrison commander. I just crafted Recruiter, so I'll put him in, and I'll try shadow visions. I have had my fair share of decks that the weapon removal has been helpful, but I'll play a few games with glimmerroot to see if I miss the ooze. Thanks for the advice guys!

Interesting why you would suggest the Curious Glimmerroot when you yourself are talking about clunk cards since it does not align with the idea of the deck. Sticking a strong early game minion to the board that can farm cards for you is important, so a Velen's Chosen or Kabal Talonpriest would be useful in mitigating early board rush.
