Hello there, I had a big discussion with someone in my buddy list about how strong Highlander-Priest is at the moment. I said, every Pro-Gamer I hear about saying how strong this deck is in the current Meta, says Highlander-Priest is a T1 if not the best deck for now on Ladder. (For example Zalae in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rgix3ThEkMM) The current Meta Report from Tempo Storm lists Highlander-Priest as the Nr 1 deck at the moment.
The other guy on my list told me, all this Pros are wrong and Highlander-Priest is just a T3 or in the best case T2 deck now and refered to the winrate of this deck listed by vicioussyndicate.com, where the total winrate of Highlander-Priest is listed with 51%.
So what do YOU think: Which Tier is Highlander-Priest at the moment and is the opinion of Pro-Gamers worthless and all we have to do is to look at some numbers on a website, which are telling use the truth?
Blizzard should make a special stream lessons or youtube videos in which they explain the the only way hs should be played is with supa dupa 1000 IQ control/combo homebrewed decks and 30 minutes long match is a minimum time period that proves you're not braindead blah blah something etc.
Basically, when used by a skilled player, it's the most rewarding deck. It's not a deck that anyone can play. On the other hand, the best deck in terms of being overpowered while being low-skilled is Tempo Rogue.
The winrate doesn't mean anything because this is a Priest deck so it will take some game knowledge and skill to be successful. That's why you can't really trust the winrates because chances are a lot of people playing Highlander priest are not experienced with Priest(Because Priest was shit for so long), or just lack the skill to pilot the deck to its full potential.

Pretty much This its Highlander Priest and Tempo Rogue sitting on the Top of Tier 1. Rogue just requires a less skill,, overall more efficient for climbing than Priest.

Actually, according to the website listed above (Metastats), Highlander Velen Priest has by far the highest winrate in the game right now, and still they set the deck in the low Tier 2 at high ranks (with rogue being tier 1).
Meta stats doesn't collect data correctly it works based on specific cards if you don't play those cards during your play it consider your deck something else and that effects stats significantly.

It's easily tier 1. The VS stats are merely indicative of the deck not yet being played optimally.

EZ Tier 1 , what are you talking about ? Do you even hearthstone ?

Highlander was already strong before KTF post un'goro, San Reno. A good player could easily take it to legend with a good winrate.
Emo Anduin just made the deck so much stronger and is definitely tier 1.
