I want to present you a deck idea that I practically never saw before on ladder. It revolves around the Priest class having access to Shadow Visions, which allows you to discover additional copies of Mind Blast to deal crucial burst damage! This, paired with the fact that I have lots of draw and healing in this deck as well, makes up for a pretty interesting deck to play.
For a way, way more detailed description, check the deck page out! I hope you like the deck and maybe even consider dropping a like for my efforts.
And, how do you change the title of a thread? I made a typo in one of mine.
1. It is solid. Sure, there is most certainly a better way to use up the two deck slots, but for some early game pressure it works fine and the fact that Patches is an enrage minion is kinda handy for needed ping damage and to combo with Bonemare, if you happen to have no minion on your field. Keep in mind that the Pirate combo also reduces your deck size more, which can be important. Also, I believe that the opponent is pretty confused to see Patches being played in a Priest deck ;)
2. Malygos is not too good in here I believe, as you would need him to survive one turn. Velen needs the same, but at least could OTK in theory. Let's say, you take the Pirates out and include Velen and 1-2 copies of Holy Smite and I could see this being solid as well. But you would need to consider changing the whole structure of the deck, as you absolutely have to run Radiant Elementals to combo with Velen - and one probably is not enough to get a good combo off, so this would be inconsistent. A deck with Velen would certainly become more combo-heavy and therefore less proactive, which I didn't aim for here. With Velen, I would even include Dragonfire Potion...You see that my thoughts go everywhere. Summa summarum: The deck structure would have to be changed most certainly, as Velen into Mind Blast on turn 9 is not too good to warrant running it...
I wanted to have more minions (and dang, Scalebane and Bonemare really help making your weaker minions considerable threats) in my deck, which is why I didn't rely on Velen in this deck, but it can very well be that a Velen variant is better. Feel free to test it out.

Seems strange that Patches has a very good chance of just being Stonetusk Boar in this deck, at least run two other pirates along with Patches like other decks do, you'd be surprised at how good an opening a 1/2 and a 1/1 is on turn one for any deck. Probably better than chow in most decks.
Not really at its best in here, but still solid, as I have some 1-drops. You could consider cutting the Pirates out for the Ascendant, but I believe there might be a better alternative - and no, I don't know which the alternative is ^^

The chance of the good opening is still much better, as you can mulligan for the Corsair. I like the Pirate lineup, as there is also no other Pirate I would consider running as well...
With all these cards in the deck, the deck would not be a Midrange deck anymore and you would have to change the approach completely - include more removals, Barnes remove Bonemare and Scalebane etc., in general cut the number of minions to ensure getting Velen or Malygos through Barnes...oh wait, that is Big Priest with a Mind Blast tech maybe...
The goal of my deck is to be more proactive, that is why I also run Auchenai, no Dragonfire Potion etc...
I am not trying to completely rely on a Mind Blast OTK, keep that mind

Prophet Velen maybe ?

What do you think about Shadow Ascendant

Malygos and Prophet Velen paired with Eternal Servitude is a MUST!
